We don't need to ask marajeh the same question again when they have already told us specifically the criteria for music being haram. With all respect brother, you should do some research yourself.

The only way in which music is haram is if it is a bad influence. This is in no way influencing someone negatively. Marajeh have passed so many fatwas already on which music is haram and which isn't.

i agree and btw according to marajeh classical music is fine. islamic nasheeds are allowed as long as you are not led to the wrong path. you shud listen to some of the sami yusuf nasheeds ;) mahdi313
