GAZA (Reuters) - A Reuters cameraman was killed in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday in what appeared to have been an Israeli military strike. Fadel Shana, a 23-year-old Palestinian, was covering violence in the enclave for the international news agency. Two bystanders were also killed in an explosion after Shana stepped from his vehicle. His soundman escaped serious injury. Film from Shana's camera showed an Israeli tank stationed several hundred meters (yards) away firing a shell. The film then went blank, apparently at the moment Shana was hit. Earlier, local residents had said the explosion appeared to have been caused by an air strike. The Reuters vehicle, an unarmored sport utility vehicle bearing "TV" and "Press" markings, had just stopped and Shana got out to film, local residents said.

The game spirit and excitement in the sport-deprived nation was all they carried as local football fans have almost forgotten the Sri Lankan team attack and believe the incident is now history. The chairman of Pakistan's Football Federation, the organizer of the match, had this to say: The Pakistani team is scheduled to visit Palestine later this year for a return match. Pakistan is among the supportive countries of Palestinian cause. With organizing this first ever football match between the two teams, Pakistan has assured its extended support in all fields for the people of Palestine.

The Mourning Dove is a member of the dove family (Columbidae). It is one of the most abundant and widespread of all North American birds. It is also the leading gamebird, with up to 70 million birds shot annually in the U.S., both for sport and for meat.Its plaintive woo-OO-oo-oo-oo call gives the bird its name. The wings can make an unusual whistling sound upon take-off and landing, and the bird is a strong flier, capable of speeds up to 88 km/h (55 mph). Mourning Doves are light grey and brown and generally muted in color. Males and females are similar in appearance. The species is generally monogamous, with two squabs (young) per brood. Both parents incubate and care for the young. Mourning Doves eat almost exclusively seeds, but the young are fed crop milk by their parents.

In the world of motorsport, it is usually all about big engines and big money. But a group of students from United Nations Relief and Works Agency's (UNRWA) Khan Younis Training Center (KYTC) in Gaza has created a Formula 1-style racing car from scratch, out of recycled parts. Because of the Israeli blockade on Gaza, most of the parts for the car had to be manufactured at the centre's workshop. Proof that a little improvisation can go a long way - they have been invited to compete at this year's prestigious Formula Student competition, organised by the Institution for Mechanical Engineers. The sweet thing about this effect is it is really different each time and depending on the intensity of your strokes you get varied results which means you can use this in tons of different projects!
