The boy, Wadia Meswedeh, was arrested on July 9 at a checkpoint near Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of al-Khalil for \'throwing stones\' at the car of an Israeli settler.
The arrest has prompted condemnations by several human rights groups.

Unemployed youths and activists along with members of a student group known as the February 20 Movement gathered outside parliament in the capital Rabat. They waved banners and chanted slogans against what they call corruption, injustice and despotism. Scores of protesters have been arrested since Morocco\'s pro-reform movement began in 2011. Campaigners say more than 30 student activists remain in prison.
