There is nothing more precious than information on the internet. So why leave things to chance regarding your database data? You may have a database full of members, or you render out all of your pages using a Custom Content Management System, which usually stores page data in a MySQL database. In this quick video tutorial Adam shows you how to go into your PHPMyAdmin MySQL database interface and back up or save your sensative database information.
There are a few ways that you could lose the data in your database, so creating backup insert files manually is an easy way for a webmaster to safeguard his or her data. First step in keeping your database secure is not allowing users to input harmful strings. Learn of strings that may harm your database and cancel them out in your form processing.
But I am assuming your scripts are secure and that you would like to backup your database just in case anything may happen out of the ordinary. You can easily replace any lost data in a few minutes using this manual methid with PHPMyAdmin.
Databases get created on your server either through your cpanel or if you are on GoDaddy or a host that has a custom control panel. Once made you have acces to PHPMyAdmin which is for interacting with your database from a not too technical online interface. So not only is it handy but it teaches you code to write scripts that can interact with your database at runtime.
HOT TIP: I have learned a lot of PHP-MySQL syntax from using PHPMyAdmin

Sayyed Nasrallah Appeals for Calm: High Level Contacts to Free Kidnapped Men
Batoul Wehbe
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said Hezbollah and Amal movement are following the kidnapping of the Lebanese men in Aleppo very seriously, calling on people not to cut off roads or exercise any violence because it does not serve the issue.
Sayyed Nasrallah was speaking in the name of Amal Movement leader Nabih Berri and the leaderships of Hezbollah and Amal movement who are working on the highest levels to secure their release.
A group of Syrian militants abducted a number of Lebanese visitors who were on their way back from Iran where they visited the holy sites there.
His eminence while condemning the act appealed for calm among people. "We want cooperation from people and we call them not to cut roads or burn tyres," Sayyed Nasrallah said, adding that he fears foreigners may cause problems with the army and other groups and take the country into the unknown.
In response to some people who threatened to kidnap Syrian nationals in Lebanon, Sayyed Nasrallah said that this act of revenge is forbidden and that the Syrian nationals are "our brothers, and nobody should make such unacceptable act personally."
Sayyed Nasrallah called on the Lebanese government to shoulder its responsibility concerning this case and make every necessary effort to secure the release of the Lebanese men.
"Contacts started with the Syrian authorities and with some influential regional states since the early moment, we did not stop short at any way for the sake of their release… Your sons and families are our responsibility and you know us how we shoulder our responsibilities," Sayyed Nasrallah announced.

[6] Imam Ali Gives Life Changing Advice to Ibn Abbas | Sheikh Azhar Nasser | English

Letter 22: To `Abdullah ibn al-`Abbas.
`Abdullah ibn al-\'Abbas used to say, \"Apart from the Prophet\'s sayings I did not derive greater benefit from any saying than this one.\"
Let it be known to you that sometimes a man gets pleased at securing a thing which he was not going to miss at all and gets displeased at missing a thing which he would not in any case get. Your pleasure should be about what you secure in respect of your next life and your grief should be for what you miss in respect thereof. Do not be much pleased on what you secure from this world, nor get extremely grieved over what you miss out of it. Your worry should be about what is to come after death.

As Iran continues its efforts to cope with post-election unrest, Leader of the Islamic Republic Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the country will deal with the crisis under the law while relying on national unity.
The Leader said Sunday that legal measures were the only solution to the issues that the country has been facing since the 10th presidential elections on June 12.
“The people\'s emotions, especially that of the youth, must not be toyed with and they should not be pitted against one another as the Iranian nation, regardless of the differences of opinion, is a united nation that has good relations with the [Islamic] establishment.”
Ayatollah Khamenei went on to urge political parties not to play with one another\'s feelings and said, “If the nation and political elite are united in heart and mind, the incitement of international traitors and oppressive politicians will be ineffective.”
The Leader\'s remarks came after certain European countries and the US condemned the measures taken by the Tehran government to restore stability in the country following the election, which saw incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad win by a landslide.
“They express their opinions about Iran in a manner that one would think all their other problems have been resolved and only the Iranian problem remains,” said Ayatollah Khamenei.
“However, what they do not understand is that wherever they politically set foot in becomes tainted in the eyes of the Iranian nation.”
“Their support will only have a negative effect as the Iranian nation knows during the eight-year sacred defense [the Iraq-Iran war] when their homes were bombarded and destroyed by missiles and chemical weapons were used against them, these governments showed no concern and [instead] aided the enemy of the Iranian nation.”
Pointing to the crimes committed by the US and certain European countries against the people of Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and Palestine, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that their “concern and show of humanitarianism is not befitting of these governments and when they voice support for the Iranian nation and certain figures, their intentions are clear and the people are well aware of them.”
Iran\'s Intelligence Minister has dismissed claims of vote-rigging in the presidential election, blaming the US and Israel for the spread of such rumors among the people.
\"I announce that no organized rigging which could affect the result of the election has taken place,\" Gholam-Hossein Mohseni Ejei said in an interview with IRIB\'s Channel Two on Sunday night.
He said the nation\'s enemies conspired several months before the presidential election to stir unrest in the country and dissuade the Iranians from voting.
\"Americans and Zionists sought to destabilize Iran ... they were upset with a stabilized and secure Iran ... even months before the election they started to talk about the possibility of vote-rigging in the election and they continued the course following the vote,\" Ejei said.
He said the Iranian intelligence services were aware of US and Israeli plots to mar the election months before the vote, adding that Iran foiled some assassination attempts masterminded by Washington and Tel Aviv.
Incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was declared the winner of the presidential election with almost two-thirds of the votes.
The announcement triggered opposition rallies in protest at the result with defeated candidates Mir-Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi calling for the result to be annulled.
Ejei took a swipe at Mousavi, saying his demand for holding the election anew would undermine the credibility of the electoral system.
The three defeated candidates -- Mousavi, Karroubi and Mohsen Rezaei -- have lodged more than 600 alleged \'irregularities\' with the electoral watchdog, the Guardian Council.
Mousavi and Karroubi believe these irregularities are enough for the election results to be annulled.
However, the head of Iran\'s Electoral Office, Kamran Daneshjou, has criticized the complaints filed by the defeated presidential candidates for being \'too general\'. The Guardian Council has also stressed that there were no \'major\' irregularities in the presidential election.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says Iranians should live up to the examples set by the late Founder of the Islamic Republic Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.
In a Friday ceremony marking the 21st anniversary of Imam Khomeini's passing, Ahmadinejad said Imam Khomeini was "without a doubt the greatest and most influential figure in modern history" and "a true gift for the entire human race at a time when materialism reigned over the world."
"Today we should remember [Imam Khomeini] and his path and remind ourselves of his divine characteristics and ... many virtues," said Ahmadinejad in an address to millions who attended the ceremony in Tehran.
He said Imam Khomeini's fight against the Western-backed hegemonic monarch of Iran and his cause to establish the justice-based Islamic Republic will be cherished and appreciated for generations to come.
"The Imam sought the salvation of all mankind and thus had a wholly global outlook. Development and progress in Iran and also salvation of mankind were both sides of the coin and were closely intertwined in his eyes," Ahmadinejad said.
President Ahmadinejad urged the Iranian nation to follow the Imam's path in order to secure a bright future for their country.
He said Imam Khomeini was known for his active resistance to tyrannical regimes, particularly Israel, which he saw as "the biggest tool for domineering world people."
"He knew from the very beginning that the Israeli regime will one day collapse and take all arrogant powers down with it," he said.
Addressing Tel Aviv's allies in the West, Ahmadinejad said the criminal regime of Israel should be scrapped in the exact same manner that it was created more than sixty years ago.

Massive anti-US rallies held in Pakistan
Thousands of people have held anti-US demonstrations across Pakistan to protest an American court's verdict against a female Pakistani scientist.
The protests on Friday come after a New York court sentenced 38-year-old Aafia Siddiqui to 86 years in prison. Hundreds of police officers were deployed across the capital Islamabad to stop angry protesters from marching into the US Embassy.
In Siddiqui's hometown of Karachi, police fired tear gas to prevent protesters from moving towards the US consulate.
In Multan, scores of activists including lawyers blocked traffic.
Siddiqui has been found guilty of allegedly trying to kill FBI agents and US military service members in Afghanistan.
Human rights groups argue that she was kidnapped and held in secret US prisons abroad.
Political activists and Siddiqui's relatives have strongly criticized the US justice system for its handling of the case.
The Islamabad government says it will petition Washington to secure the repatriation of the mother of three on humanitarian grounds.

This is a ‘meccan’ surah.
It is narrated from Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (as) that frequent recitation of this surah is a protection from Jinn and the reciter will be in the company of the Holy Prophet (saw) on the Day of Resurrection. This surah also protects one from the evil actions of an unjust person. Prisoners secure early release by reciting this surah and those who recite it properly will never face poverty or starvation. Keeping this surah in one’s possession ensures safety from the Jinn, victory in debate or confrontation, and safety of possession and wealth. Debts are also easily paid back.

This is a ‘meccan’ sūrah.
It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (saw) that the reward for reciting this sūrah is equivalent to the total number of people who keep up prayer and safeguard the property which has been entrusted to them. Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as) has said that the one who recites this sūrah will have his sins hidden on the Day of Judgement and he will enter Jannah alongside the Holy Prophet (saw). If a prisoner recites this sūrah, he will secure his release. Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (as) said that if this sūrah is recited before sleeping, one keeps safe from the temptations of Shaitan (la).
