At least one demonstrator has been killed in fresh clashes between Iraqi security forces and anti-government protesters in the western Anbar province.
The clashes were triggered after local police moved in to dismantle the main anti-government protest site in the city of Ramadi. The operation follows a deal with religious leaders and tribal sheikhs. Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki earlier referred to the protest site as the headquarters of the al-Qaeda leadership. Sunni Muslim protesters have been campaigning against the government since last December. They claim they\\\'re facing a second-class treatment at the hands of the Shia majority. There\\\'s been a surge in terrorist attacks and bombings across Iraq over the past year. Authorities believe that the escalating violence is aimed at creating sectarian strife in the country.

Ever since the Islamic Revolution in Iran more than three decades ago, the country has been the constant target of terrorism and extremism. Kurdistan the western Iranian Province has been a hot spot for terror attacks that have targeted civilians more often than not.
The Democratic Party of Iran\\\'s Kurdistan and Komalah Party are extremist ethno-centric groups with separatist ideologies. They have their strongholds in neighboring countries and their leaders live in Europe. In the past three decades the two armed organizations have been responsible for the assassination and death of thousands of Kurdish people. The victims\\\' so-called crimes range from collaborating with the Islamic Revolution, to fighting alongside Iran against Saddam Hussein\\\'s invasion of the country, or to simply refusing to pay extortions. In spite of the two groups\\\' common ideology and goals, they are bitter rivals who have had thousands of their members killed in violent clashes between the two.
The Common Target though tells the story of Ebrahim Mohammadi\\\'s assassination; A simple middle aged citizen who was gunned down simply because he had taken up arms against Saddam during Iran-Iraq War. Although the order was issued by a high-ranking DPIK member in Europe, the final bullet that took Mohammadi\\\'s life was shot by a Komalah member. How did this happen? Why a common target between rivals? These questions are investigated in this documentary.

After a week of bloody clashes in southern Yemen, negotiations have resumed in Sana\'a at the national dialogue conference, where the country\'s political factions have been meeting for over the past 8 months to find solutions for the pressing issues.
One of the main issues is the southern case which remains unresolved. A new proposal was put forward last week which insists on the creation of a federal system. Southern representatives in the NDC however say justice must first be served for the years of repression sustained in the south under the previous regime.

Iran has marked the second anniversary of the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan; In January 2012, a terrorist motorcyclist attached a magnetic bomb to Ahmadi Roshan\'s car in Tehran. Ahmadi Roshan\'s assassination was part of attacks against Iranian nuclear scientists. Professor Massoud Ali-Mohammadi, and professor Majid Shahriari were among other nuclear scientists who have been assassinated in the past couple of years by Israel-US agents in order to slow down the pace of Iran\'s scientific progress. Speaking at the commemoration ceremony, speaker of Iran\'s Parliament Ali Larijani says if there had not been such individuals as Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, we would not have reached the point where we are standing now. Larijani said Iran has made good progress in nuclear field. Referring to the Geneva action plan between Iran and the P5+1 group larijani said:
Meanwhile the father of assassinated nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan says the West is not trustworthy. At the same time, a group of the families of the assassinated nuclear scientists, in a meeting with the visiting British parliamentary delegation condemned the Wet double standard policy towards terrorism saying that this sinister phenomenon is a serious threat to global peace and security. For his part head of the British delegation Jack Straw said that the British Government and Parliament condemn all forms of terrorism including the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists.

Iran's transportation and fuel center is teaming with the country's traffic police, department of motor vehicles and Iran's Environmental Protection Organization (IEPO) to remove aged vehicles to assist in solving the country's air pollution crisis. According to TIME Magazine Iran has 4 cities named as the top ten most polluted cities in the world. As air pollution continues to be an issue in Iran, government organizations have teamed up to solve this catastrophe for good. The goal is to remove vehicles aged private automobiles, taxis, passenger busses and trucks 20 years and older because they fail vehicle emission testing which is the core foundation for air pollution. PTC (Iran's transportation and fuel center estimates there are 1,200,000 aged vehicles throughout Iran. According to Iran's Environmental Protection Organization over 70% of air pollution in Iran especially in the capital Tehran which populates close to 14,000,000 is a direct cause of these aged vehicles.) In addition there are close to 9 million motorcycles in Iran of which 3 million are over aged. In the past 9 months close to 300,000 automobiles, busses and trucks and 600,000 motorcycles have been taken off the streets. The government is also offering a low interest rate loan for residents to turn in their aged vehicles and purchase brand new automobiles. The government is giving taxi drivers a loan of almost $7,000 while bus and truck drivers can get a loan of $20,000 and $50,000 respectively. The US administration is stepping up criticism of the Syrian government over the removal of its chemical weapons. Secretary of State John Kerry says all options are still on the table and that Syria could face consequences for failing to get rid of its stockpile of chemical weapons.
Over the past two days, the US administration has repeatedly accused Damascus of deliberately stalling the international disarmament deal to remove its chemical weapons. But Russia has rejected Washington\'s charges that the Syrian government is dragging its feet in the effort to eliminate its chemical weapons stockpile. Moscow says a June 30 deadline to destroy Syria\'s arsenal of toxic agents remains viable, despite delays. The Kremlin says the delays are due to security problems on the road to the port of Latakia and insufficient technical support from the outside world.
