Georgia is considered one of the closest US allies, but it is also a country having visa free travel rules and friendly relations with Iran. Farhad Shademan is one of Iranian nationals, who came to visit Georgia three years ago and decided to stay here. The reason behind his decision was a low living cost compared to other countries and opportunities to start a business with a little money. Since then, he has run a small cafe in the center of Tbilisi. An increase in number of Iranian businesses recently opened in Georgia, has raised US suspicions over the matter. Delegations from U-S Treasury have visited Tbilisi in recent months to discuss importance of combating those activities.

The Iranian Embassy in Lebanon marks the 31st anniversary of the abduction of four Iranian diplomats - Ahmad Motevaselian, Seyyed Mohsen Mousavi, Taqi Rastegar Moqaddam, and Kazem Akhavan.
They were abducted on July the 4th, 1982 - amid the Lebanese civil war - by Israeli-affiliated militias. Headed by Samir Gaegae, the militias stopped their car on the way to Beirut at the Al-Barbara checkpoint in Northern Lebanon. The militias were known for their close ties with Israel.
When asked about the case of the four men, Gaegae first said they were handed over to Israel, but later claimed they had been killed. Iran\'s ambassador to Lebanon says Tehran has the evidence that suggests they are still being kept captive in Israeli jails.

Several leading insurers say the easing of insurance sanctions on some Iranian oil exports is likely to take months to come into effect.
The companies claim this is due to complex law and regulations in the United States and the European Union. They also say a formal change in E-U, U-K and U-S laws is needed to release insurers from existing prohibitions. A recent nuclear deal on Iran\'s nuclear energy program in Geneva allows an easing of a ban on European ship insurance companies that deal with Iran. The sanctions relief could allow Iran to transport its oil more easily to its Asian customers.

It\'s not hard to imagine the day you\'ll have no worries about spilling things on your clothes! A group of Iranian scientists have developed a special nano-technology process to produce water-proof and anti-stain textile!
The process has been developed by researchers working at the Materials and Energy Research Center in Karaj, north-west of Tehran. This is the first time Iranian scientists have created the liquid repellent nano-coating. The material could easily be applied to different kinds of textiles, making them water and stain proof. It also preserves the original color and form of the textile. Researchers have also successfully tested the chemical on old carpets, concluding that it works as a barrier against bacteria that cause the carpet to wear out. The team aims to use the substance to make water-resistant paper and concrete.
