He says, " In 1968, after years of studying at the Qom Seminary, I was contemplating my future and what course of action I wanted to pursue: Fiqh, Propagation (Tabligh), philosophy, tafsir and writing
My decision making was based on two factors:
1. What doest our society need most?
2. What is best suited to my personality and my character?
I realized that in every society, just as we need specialist and experts for various fields, we also need of experts that are capable of explaining the religious and ideological concepts of our religion in a very simple language, shortly thereafter, Allah (SWT) lit spark within me that became the basis of my decision for the future. I invited a few young men in my neighbourhood to get together in a Masjid and discuss religious matters. I made a deal with them that if they did not find our discussions beneficial; they could cancel these gathering at once. In short, these gathering went on for four years. This inspired me to continue on this path ever since.
Since 1979 and the victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I have been conducting programs, titled: lessons from Quran television (as well as radio)

Beshara Doumani addresses the question WHY CANT THEY GET ALONG? The answer according to him - they cant along because of decades long dispossession of one group by another which has only intensified recently. Using a number of anecdotal examples he argues that the arrogance of Israelis is responsible for the violence - the failure of many international interventions for peace - and the ongoing plight of the Palestinian people. He seems to believe in the two state solution - and was subsequently questioned on that in the QnA session. The clip is from a Berkeley Teach-in organized in Sep 2006. Also see the Berkeley Teach-In QnA session on this site.

Manchester, England. 1 March 2008. Five years after the invasion of Iraq, two leading opponents of the US-led occupations in the Middle East come to Manchester to talk about the reality of the War on Terror on the ground at a public rally. The event is organised by the Stop the War Coalition as part of its build up to the World Against War demonstrations that were due to take place globally on March 15th 2008.
This meeting is a chance to hear key figures from the Middle East and leading
activists and writers from Britain discuss the impact of the war on terror and
the continuing campaign to get the troops out.
The speakers include two eyewitness reports from Iraq and Lebanon:
1. Ibrahim al-Moussawi is editor of the Lebanese Hezbollah newspaper, al-Intiqad, and one of the key spokespeople for the popular resistance to the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 2006.
2. Hassan Juma'a is President of the Iraqi Oil Workers Federation, and a leader of the campaign to stop the US-led privatisation of Iraqi oil.
They are joined at the rally by Chris Nineham, national chair of the Stop the War Coalition.
Ibrahim Mousawi defies a campaign by warmongering Conservative Party leader, David Cameron, to keep him out of the country. "Governments should not censor what people have to say and confiscate the right of intelligent people to decide what to hear or not to hear. I'm a staunch defender of political freedoms and freedom of speech," retorted al-Moussaw.
This particular clip shows Ibrahim al-Moussawi, editor of the Hezbollah newspaper, speaking at the event.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah - Message to his Men - Arabic sub English
To the freedom fighters I say - I received your letter and heard your words. I swear to God - you are like you said. Yes - you are the true promise and you are the imminent victory - God willing....
To the freedom fighters I say - I received your letter and heard your words. I swear to God - you are like you said. Yes - you are the true promise and you are the imminent victory - God willing. You are the freedom of the prisoners - the liberation of the land - the defenders of the homeland - honor and dignity. Brothers - you are the authenticity of the history of this nation and you are the salvation of its soul. You are its civilization - culture - value - love and gratitude. You are the slogan of its heroism. You are the immortality of the cedars in our summits - the humbleness of our wheat spikelets in our valleys. You are the self-esteemed people like the high mountains of Lebanon that empowers the powerful and overcomes the haughty. After God - you are the hope and bet. You have been and will remain the hope and bet. I kiss your heads that made all heads high. I kiss your hands that get the grip on the firelock - shooting with the help of God at the killers of his prophets and slaves - shooting those spreading mischief on the land. I kiss your feet that are sinking in the earth without trembling or swaying from their positions even if the mountains had to sway. Brothers -you- who lent their brains to God and watched the far lines of the enemy - my reply to you is my thanks to you because you accepted me as one of you - a brother of yours. This is because you are the leaders - you are the lords - and you are the crown on the head and the pride of this nation. You are the men of God through whom we will triumph.
