Sins of the Mind
Friends, there are some sins, which are forgiven quickly. There are some sins, which arenât even counted, to need to be forgiven. There are some sins, which if counted, will be forgiven very quickly. There are some sins, which they are very hard about! At least for those sins, deeply ask for Godâs forgiveness! Sins of the mind.
I said they are not easily forgiven. But, some of the sins of the mind arenât forgiven at all! A tradition says, âGod forgives all sins except for one sin, which is done in the mind.â What is that sin? Adultery? Stealing? Killing? No, He forgives these. A sin, which God doesnât forgive, is the sin of being suspicious about God.
This person is unable to control his mind. It constantly comes into his mind that God wonât forgive him or her. God will say, âOk, so no way! I wonât forgive this apparently little sin! You could have controlled your mind! Youâre unable to control your heart! Whatever you did in the past! But, you can control your mind!â God, every moment that I became suspicious about You, You became very angry. I was wrong. Forgive me.
The Almighty God told the prophet David, âO David! The daughter of âso and soâ is at your level in Heaven.â The Prophet David (âa) said, âI want to see who she is that she is at the same level with her prophet!?â He went and asked her about her actions. She talked about them. He asked, âHow do you live? How do you worship?â Her answers were very normal! He asked, âHow do you feel when doing these? What do you think about God? What is your intention?â See her answer. She said, âAny changes that God made in my situation, I never became suspicious about God at all. I said, âThis was surely better for me.ââ The Prophet David (âa) said, âYour good thoughts about God have caused you to be at the level of the prophets.â
âI never thought badly about God. If I want to state this simply, even when God brought hardships for me, I didnât think badly about Him. I said, âThis was surely better for me.ââ âYour good thoughts about Almighty God have caused you to be at the same level of the prophet of your time.â
No one should think badly about God! Some of the sins of the mind arenât forgiven at all! A tradition says, âGod forgives all sins except for one sin, which is done in the mind.â No one should think badly about God!

Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei narrates and explains a tradition narrated from the 6th divinely appointed Imam, Imam Ja\'far ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq (A), where Imam Sadiq (A) speaks about \"Two Unforgivable Sins\".
What is a practical thing that one can do, which can have one\'s sins of that day, forgiven?
Is oppression of just one kind or are there many kinds of oppression; if so, what are they?
And what does \'Murakebah\' and \'Muhasebah\' have to do with our discussion?
Yet despite all this, are there any exceptions as regards to the sins that will be forgiven by Allah; how many exceptions are there, and what are those exceptions?
And finally, why are these two actions considered to be \"The Two Unforgivable Sins\" that can\'t be forgiven, when all other sins will be forgiven by Allah in the context of the tradition stated by Imam Ja\'far al-Sadiq (A).
Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei expounds upon the wise words of the 6th divinely appointed Imam, Imam Ja\'far al-Sadiq (A).

This is a âmeccanâ surah.
Imam Mohammad al-Baqir (as) has said that whoever recites this surah with a loud voice, it is as if he has lifted his sword to fight in the way of ALLAH (swt) and whoever recites it slowly in his mind, it is as if he has been sacrificed in the way of Allah and has died a martyr. If a person recites this surah ten times, one thousand sins of his are forgiven. If recited in compulsory prayers, all previous sins are forgiven. It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (s) that reciting this surah once carries the reward of fasting for the whole month of Ramadhan. Constant recitation of this surah, increases sustenance. If surah Qadr is recited 11 times before sleeping, the reciter remains safe the whole night. Recitation in front of an enemy keeps one safe from his evil designs. For the paying back of loans, one should seek forgiveness and should recite surah Qadr as many times as possible. Imam Jaâfar as-Sadiq (as) said that for pious children, one should keep his right hand on his wife and recite this surah 7 times before going into her. If recited seven times on the grave of a believer, his sins will be forgiven.

Deep Inside the Heart
Agha Ali Reza Panahian
The prophet David (âa) asked God, âGod, who is at the same level with me in Heaven?â God replied, âThe daughter of âso and soâ is at the same level with you in Heaven.â The prophet became curious about what this girl had that she was at the same level in Heaven? He got the address and went to that family.
He asked, âWhat good points do you have? What worships acts do you do? How vigilant are you?â She mentioned some of her normal deeds. The prophet David (âa) said, âNo, these are not things to cause you to be at the same level of the prophet of your time. Tell me more for me to understand.â
She said, âI am very optimistic about God.â The prophet David (âa) approved and said, âThis is what can cause a person to be at the same level of the prophet of his or her time.â God says, âI look deep inside My servant. Deep inside is the part of a personâs heart, which is hidden and which a person may not be aware of himself in many cases.â God says, âLet Me see what is deep inside his heart? Whatever it is, Iâll deal with him based on that.â
God determines our future for the next year on the Night of Power. How does He determine our future fate? One of the very important factors is to be optimistic about God.
Can a person pray or make up a missed prayer on the Day of Judgement? Can a person take money with himself to pay for his debts on the Day of Judgment? Can he give charity there? Can he do anything to gain some reward? There is one deed, which is effective on the Day of Judgement, and that is being optimistic and having hope in God.
After calculating a personâs deeds, they want to send him to Hell. He constantly looks behind himself. The Almighty God says, âBring My servant. Why is he looking behind himself?â He says, âGod, I didnât think You would punish me.â God replies, âI have forgiven you now because you were optimistic about Me.â
Being optimistic is effective on the Day of Judgment! God replies, âI have forgiven you now because you were optimistic about Me.â Being optimistic is effective on the Day of Judgment!
God make us Your best servants on earth during this Month of Ramadan. Do you know why we donât pray like this or cry for this? Because we say, âThis is too difficult. Forget it. Itâs not that easy.â
This is being disappointed. This is not something strange. âI donât feel like it.â Do you know why? Because, you donât believe you will be given such a thing. âIs God this kind? No!â This is an obvious insult, having doubts about the extent of Godâs Kindness. This is being disappointed.
Where does our regret start from? It starts from each good deed that we werenât able to do. We will blame ourselves and say, âI didnât want it. I wasnât optimistic. I didnât have hope that God would give that to me. So, He didnât.â
Being optimistic, hopeful, and not becoming disappointed are not just moods. In practice, they have effect. If you say itâll happen, it will happen.
She suddenly said, âI am very optimistic about God.â The prophet David (âa) agreed and said, âThis is what can cause a person to be at the same level of the prophet of his or her time.â

On Wednesday December 17 2008 activists staged a Shoe In demonstration in front of the White House. The rally was in solidarity with Iraqi journalist Muntadhar al Zaidi.
WASHINGTON, Dec 17: About 100 people gathered outside the White House on Wednesday to protest for the release of the Iraqi journalist who hurled his shoes at President George W. Bush over the weekend.
Muntazer al-Zaidi, who works for the Al Baghdadia Television, has been in custody since disrupting President Bushâs weekend press conference with the size-10 projectiles. If convicted, Mr Zaidi may be jailed for up to seven years.
The protesters brought a giant head of President Bush, threw shoes at it and covered it with shoes before ending their protest.
They also brought bags of shoes representing Iraqis and US soldiers who have died since the Bush Administrationâs âillegal invasionâ of Iraq.
The peace activists urged the Iraqi government to release Mr Zaidi without charges and have set up a fund to support him and his family.
At the White House, Press Secretary Dana Perino said the president had âno hard feelingsâ about the Iraqi journalist who flung shoes at him.
Asked if Mr Zaidi should be forgiven, Ms Perino said Mr Bush trusted Iraqâs legal system to decide an appropriate punishment for the assault.
The protesters outside the White House also displayed names of thousands of Iraqis killed in the war. The display contained their names, ages, places where they were killed and how they were killed.
âThese are real people,â said Gael Murphy, one of the cofounders of the Code Pink which along with three of the groups had participated in the protest. âThey were killed because of the US invasion.âLater, representatives for Code Pink, Women for Peace, Iraq Veterans Against the War, and Veterans for Peace told a news conference that they had come to White House to remind the Bush administration and the American people that âMr Bush is directly responsible for the deaths of 1.5 million Iraqis and 4,200 US troopsâ.
They noted that the war also displaced more than five million Iraqis.
âBush is the real criminal, not al-Zaidi,â said one of them. âAl-Zaidi speaks for millions of people across the world.â
âArrest Bush, not Zaidi,â chanted the protesters as they marched outside the White House. âBush is a war criminal,â shouted the protesters as they spanked a giant picture of the US president with shoes.
The speakers who addressed the news conference noted that Mr Zaidi had become something of a folk-hero in the Arab world, and his shoe-throwing had become a symbol of dissatisfaction with âBushâs bungled war in Iraqâ

Description:
Anti war protestors demonstrated in front of the White House and brought more than just signs they brought shoes

Ziyarat ASHURA - Urdu and English. Ziyaarate Aashoora: In the light of traditions
The above incidences clearly convey the virtues and significance of Ziyaarate Aashoora - both in this world and the Hereafter. Now let us have a look at those traditions that indicate and highlight the merits of reciting Ziyaarate Aashoora and also substantiate the above incidents.
Tradition 1
Alqamah bin Mohammed ibn Hazrami (r.a.) narrates 'I requested Imam Baqir (a.s.) to teach me a dua that I should recite on the day of Aashoora after the reciting the Ziyaarat of Imam Husain (a.s.) - from near his (a.s.) grave or from a distance.' Imam (a.s.) replied
'O Alqamah, whenever you wish to recite the Ziyaarat of Imam Husain (a.s.), you first perform two units of prayers. Then turn towards the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.) and while pointing towards it, you first say 'Salam' and then 'Takbir'. Thereafter, you recite this Ziyaarat (Ziyaarate Aashoora). If you do so, then as if you have recited the supplication read by the angels while visiting the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.). Moreover, when you recite this Ziyaarat, then
(a) Allah will increase your grade ten lakh times
(b) You will be included among those people who were martyred along with Imam Husain (a.s.)
(c) On the day of Judgment, you will be included among the martyrs
(d) You will get the reward of all the Prophets (a.s.) who have visited the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.) from the day that he (a.s.) was martyred till date.
And the way of reciting the Ziyaarat is like thisâŠ'
(Then Imam (a.s.) recited the entire Ziyaarate Aashoora for Alqamah (r.a.))
(Kaamil al-Ziyaarat, Ibn Qoolwayh, Ch. 71, p.194)
At the end of this tradition, Imam Baqir (a.s.) says
'O Alqamah, if you can, then recite this Ziyaarat every day send salutations to Imam Husain (a.s.). You will get all the rewards (of the one who recites it on the day of Aashoora).'
Tradition 2
Imam Sadiq (a.s.) says:
'The one who visits the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.) on the day of Aashoora or spends the night near his (a.s.) grave, then it is as if he attained martyrdom along with him (a.s.).'
(Kaamil al-Ziyaarat, Chapter 71, p. 191)
(Many Ziyaaraat have been mentioned that can be recited on the day of Aashoora. But the Ziyaarat mentioned by Janab Safwan (r.a.) is more common and it is Hadith-e-Qudsi).
Tradition 3
Imam Sadiq (a.s.) informs,
'The one who does the Ziyaarat of Imam Husain (a.s.) on the day of Aashoora, then paradise is obligatory upon him.'
(Behaar al-Anwaar, vol. 101, p.104)
Tradition 4
Imam Sadiq (a.s.) mentions,
'The one who visits the grave of Imam Husain (a.s.) knowing his right (of Imamate) then it is as if he has done the Ziyaarat of Allah on the Arsh.'
(Kaamil al-Ziyaarat, Chapter 71, p. 192)
Tradition 5
Abdullah bin Fazl narrates, 'Once I was in the presence of Imam Sadiq (a.s.) when a person from the city of 'Toos' came to visit him (a.s.). He asked. 'O son of the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.)! What do you have to say for the one who visits the grave of Aba Abdillah (a.s.) on the day of Aashoora?' Imam (a.s.) replied
'O Toosi! The one who visits the grave of Aba Abdillah (a.s.) while he acknowledges that his (a.s.) obedience is obligatory from the side of Allah, then all his past and future sins shall be forgiven. He will be granted the right of intercession for seventy sinners. There will be no supplication that he shall ask from Allah near the grave of Aba Abdillah (a.s.) except that it shall be accepted.'

This is a âmeccanâ sĆ«rah. It is also known as sĆ«rah at-Tawheed. It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (saw) that whoever recites this sĆ«rah once will get the reward equal to ten times the number of people who have believed in the Islamic teachings. This sĆ«rah has many other rewards and its recitation is compared to reciting a third of the Holy Qurâan. Reciting it once is a means of blessings for the reciter, if recited twice then the blessings are also showered upon the children of the reciter. Reciting it thrice brings blessings on the entire family of the reciter. If sĆ«rah al-Ikhlaas is recited 11 times, the reciter will have palaces built for him in Jannah. When a person recites this sĆ«rah 100 times, all his sins for the past 25 years are forgiven (except the sins of killing an innocent person or usurping the property of people). The one who recites it 1000 times will not die unless he sees his place in Jannah. The Holy Prophet (saw) once advised a poor person to always say âsalaamâ when entering his house, even if there was no one there, and then recite sĆ«rah at-Tawheed. After a little while, the man became abundantly wealthy. It is narrated that if a person does not recite this sĆ«rah in any of his five daily prayers, it is as if he has not prayed. In fact, if a person does not recite this sĆ«rah in any of his prayers for seven consecutive days, and he dies, it will be as if he died while following the religion of Abu Lahab. It is makrooh to recite this sĆ«rah in one breath. This sĆ«rah has numerous other benefits and is a cure for many ailments. It should be recited when travelling or when facing a tyrant ruler.

This is a âmeccanâ surah. The surah discusses the character of those who claim to be Muslims but are oblivious of the hereafter. These people deprive the orphans of their rights, are heedless to the dues of the destitute, and pray without holding AllĂĄh in remembrance, forgetting the objective behind prayer. Their charitable acts are a display of their false piety, since they do not give for the love of AllĂĄh . It is narrated from Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as) that if a person recites this sĆ«rah in any of his prayers, then they will be accepted. The sins of those who recite this sĆ«rah are forgiven. If recited a hundred times after the Fajr prayers, one remains safe until the next dayâs Fajr time. Imam Jaâfar as-Sadiq (as) said that if a person recites sĆ«rah al-Maaâun, 41 times every day, he/she and his family will remain free from being dependant on others for their sustenance. (It is recommended that salawaat should also be recited ten times, before and after the recitation.)

The Holy Prophet (s) said that if a person recites this surah frequently in his prayers then on the Day of Judgement there will be no curtain between ALLAH (swt) and himself and when his book of deeds will be opened, ALLAH (swt) will protect him from humiliation.
If a prisoner writes this surah and keeps it with him, he will be released sooner and he will be saved from any dangers. It is narrated from Imam Jaâfar as-Sadiq (as) that even if the sins of the one who recites this surah are equal to the drops of rain, he will still be forgiven. This surah is also good for the eyes and one should blow gently into the eyes after reciting this surah.

Pakistan has agreed to support the king against the protestors
ONE Middle Eastern intervention makes the headlines every day. The other barely rates a mention. The first is ostensibly aimed at protecting civilians and at facilitating change, the second at safeguarding the status quo.
Libyaâs Muammar Qadhafi has been told he must go. Bahrainâs ruling Al Khalifa family, on the other hand, must stay. Some Arabs, one could be forgiven for assuming, are worthier of democracy and civil rights than others.
Yet the degree of hypocrisy may not be as great as it seems. After all, while the future of Tunisia and Egypt remains unwritten, there can be little reason to doubt that the US and its allies would prefer to preserve the basic structures of the Ben Ali and Mubarak regimes, albeit with new figureheads and, if possible, less visible signs of oppression and the odd concession to pluralism.
From their point of view, the ideal outcome in Bahrain would be similar: a few nods in the direction of cosmetic reform to placate the restive segments of society, but not much more than that â and certainly nothing that could jeopardise Bahrainâs crucial strategic relationship with the US, especially its status as a home for the Fifth Fleet. The trouble, of course, is the impossibility of rearrangements that could be passed off as regime change.
At best the prime minister, in situ for four decades, could be replaced. But he is the kingâs uncle, and even if he could be persuaded, without occasioning a family split, to step aside, his successor would inevitably be another Al Khalifa.
That US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton felt obliged earlier this month to mildly berate the regime in Manama for its transgressions against mostly peaceful protesters was obviously in large part a consequence of not wishing the contrast with western actions in Libya to seem too stark. It is highly unlikely that the decision by Saudi Arabia and the UAE to send in troops was taken without Washingtonâs imprimatur, given that both are effectively American satrapies in geo-strategic terms.
The foreign troops, which are officially supposed to guard strategic installations, rather than assist in âcrowd controlâ, were evidently despatched under a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) agreement dating back to Saddam Husseinâs neighbour-threatening rhetoric in 1990, which preceded the invasion of Kuwait. (His stance was thoroughly embarrassing at the time for oil-rich states that had during the previous decade supported Iraq in its war against Iran.)
That was, however, a joint defence pact among the Gulf potentates, to the effect that the violation of any GCC stateâs sovereignty would be construed as aggression against all. Internal unrest did not figure in their calculations. Bahrain does not face any external threat, although there can be little doubt its emissaries have, in private discussions, conjured up the bogey of a threat from Iran.
Tehranâs domestic and foreign policies are often indefensible, but cables from Bahrain-based US diplomats over recent years, released by WikiLeaks, suggest it hasnât lately been going out of its way to interfere in Bahrain. The Gulf stateâs majority Shia population resents the almost exclusively Sunni regime because of irrefutable instances of discrimination rather than because of imprecations from Iran.
Given that at least 70 per cent of Bahrainis are Shias, it is hardly surprising that the majority of those who are economically disadvantaged fall in the same category. But their exclusion from privilege is not just a matter of demographics.
For instance, in order to keep out Bahraini Shias from the security forces, the government regularly recruits troops from abroad â notably from Yemen and Pakistan. And whereas the value of public representation can be judged by the fact that a royally nominated senate can overrule the elected lower house, even so the constitutional arrangements sanctioning the latter preclude the possibility of a Shia majority.
It inevitably follows that the monarchyâs supporters are mostly Sunni and its opponents mostly Shia, and even though the protests launched last month werenât, on the face of it, sectarian in nature, casting them in that light tends to become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Bahrain does not differ from its Gulf neighbours only in a demographic sense: itâs also relatively less well endowed with natural resources, and therefore poorer in per capita terms. And it has been rocked by popular unrest more frequently.
Referring to an uprising in the mid-1950s, Prof Fred Halliday noted in Arabia Without Sultans: âThe British realised that Bahrain had a more advanced and therefore dangerous political character than any other Gulf country. Because the oil revenue and level of production was so much lower than in Kuwait, they had been unable to turn the indigenous population into a parasitic class with an enslaved migrant proletariat underneath. Their response was intensified repression, and a tightening of control by the Al Khalifa family.â
Notwithstanding the differences, however, Bahrainâs neighbours realise that if the Al Khalifas are toppled the Al Sauds, Al Nahyans and Al Jabers could follow. The marriage of tribal feudalism and modern capitalism cannot forever endure, but efforts will no doubt be made to preserve it for as long as petroleum remains crucial to meeting western energy needs.
In terms of totalitarian tactics, the Al Sauds in particular are more than a match for Qadhafi and his sons. But donât expect any push for democracy in Saudi Arabia. Pressure for often intangible and invariably more or less meaningless reforms is at far as it will go.
Bahrain falls in the same basket, essentially. Were the situation to become too fraught, the US would probably begin disentangling itself from its intricate defence links with the troubled kingdom. In the interests of advancing potentially democratic interests, it would make much more sense to do so right away. But donât hold your breath.
The Yemeni regime, meanwhile, will also continue, for as long as it is feasible, to enjoy the benefit of the doubt. Syria, on the other hand, is a much more likely candidate for the Libyan treatment.

Description:
Then Prophet received words from Allah by those words he asked for forgiveness from Allah for his fault.
And Allah accepted his forgiveness because Allah is of forgiving and oft merciful
Nearly all those who explain Quran from Sunni religion like Ibn Kasir, fakhre Raazi, Sokhani in Tafsir falil al kabir and Alloosi in rouh mani and all Quranic explanation from Ahlul sunnah according to view point all have Ibn Abbas hadith under explanation for this Ayat of Quran.
Ibn Abbas was asked about this ayat in Quran. Ibn Abbas was asked what those words are given to Prophet Adam by which his fault was forgiven.
Ibn Abbas asked same question to Prophet Mohammed (SAWW).
Prophet Mohammed said, Allah showed Prophet Adam words to reach Allah forgiveness and Prophet Adam forgiveness was accepted because of those words which worked as intercession
The words or Khalimah are
âO Allah by Mohammed, Ali, Fatimah, Hassan and Hussain names I request you to accept my forgiveness.
Allah accepted Prophet Adam Forgiveness because of these Personalities. Prophet Mohammed, Ali, Fatimah, Hassan and Hussain.
These names are mentioned when?
First day of Prophet Adam existence.
This is the point that all those who has done explanation of Quran has given and pointed to Ibn Abbas hadith.
All this point to the great status of My Master Imam Ali, successor of Prophet, WASI and WARIS and Leader of all believers.
