In Syria, at least 25 people have died in air raids in Aleppo. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says 14 children are among the dead. The Britain-based observatory group said the aerial attack using explosives-laden barrels occurred over the Sakhur, Ard al-Hamra and Heydariyeh districts in eastern Aleppo. The Syrian government has not commented on the incident yet.

The flash-mob protest against the war in Afghanistan is just one of many demonstrations surrounding the two-day NATO summit in the Portuguese capital.

US officials are nervous about when they do. That's because the pictures are show US soldiers are posing with what looks like dead Afghan men. One soldier holds the bleeding man's head up, and then in another picture a soldier is smiling. In a third picture two men are tied together who appear to have been shot at--slumped up against a post.
