A newly-emerged letter on social media has revealed that Saudi Arabia agreed to the plan to send many criminals for fighting in Syria back in 20-12. The letter was apparently issued by the Arab monarchy\'s Interior Ministry in March last year. It says the accused were from different nationalities. They would receive amnesty if they agreed to being trained and sent to Syria for fighting the government of President Bashar al-Assad. The letter also shows that most of the criminals were convicted of drug-related offences, murder, and rape, and had to be beheaded by sword under Saudi law. Syria\'s envoy to the U-N had earlier revealed that SAUDI criminals were among the militants fighting against Damascus. Bashar al-Ja\'fari said the Saudi intelligence was aware of the presence of such criminals in Syria.

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, the Creator of all creatures, Whom we praise, from Whom we seek help, to Whom we repent, and Whom we rely on, and peace and greetings be upon His beloved and noble one, the best among His servants, the protector of His secret, the promoter of His message, the harbinger of His mercy, the warner of His chastisement, our Master and Prophet, Ab-al-Qassem al-Mustafa Muhammad, upon his immaculate, pure and chosen household, and upon those who guide the guided, and who are immaculate and respected, especially the one remaining with Allah on earth. I advise myself and all of you dear brothers and sisters, who said your prayers in this magnificent meeting, to fear God and engage in piety which is the source of happiness and victory in this world and in the hereafter. I would like to congratulate all of you, all the people of Iran and all Muslims throughout the world on the occasion of the auspicious Eid ul-Fitr. The month of Ramadan, which is full of divine blessings for our nation and other Muslims, is over and many happy people benefited from the blessings of this month. These people spent the day obeying God while they were fasting and while they felt hungry and thirsty in such hot weather and on such hot days and they avoided carnal desires and curbed their human passions. At night, many people engaged in prayer and dhikr and they kept a vigil for God. Those who carried out their responsibility by worshiping God and fulfilling divine obligations in this month feel satisfied and happy. Engaging in spiritual deeds and fighting against human passions in this month gives a feeling of joy and spiritual happiness to you dear people who are the masters of determination and willpower and who exercised patience in fasting. One of the characteristics of carrying out responsibilities for the sake of God and making efforts and engaging in jihad for the sake of God is that one feels happy although one endures hardships and difficulties. And God has connected this happiness with the happiness that we feel on the day of Eid ul-Fitr. In order to show the greatness of this day, I should merely say that, during the nine qunuts of the auspicious prayers of Eid ul-Fitr, you swear by the blessedness of this day: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"By the blessedness of this day I ask you...\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" [Mafatih al-Jinan, Eid ul-Fitr] I hope that Allah the Exalted accepts your prayers, bestows and showers His mercy and blessings on the people of Iran and bestows abundant rewards on you for the efforts that you made in this month. One of the great efforts that the people made in this month was the Quds Day rallies. One cannot describe in any way, how significant what you did is. Throughout the country, you marched on the streets in such hot weather and while you were fasting in order to prove the resistance of the Iranian nation on this important issue of the world of Islam and the history of Islam. This is the meaning of a living nation. I deem it necessary to express my gratitude, from the bottom of my heart, to the Iranian nation for this effort. This year, more than previous years, a good tradition was witnessed. It is good to pay attention to this issue which is the act of providing the people with simple and unadorned iftar meals in our mosques and on the streets of many cities of the country. Unlike the act of offering extravagant iftar meals which we heard a number of people did, this is a very appropriate act. Under the pretext of offering iftar meals, these people engaged in extravagant acts. Instead of becoming an instrument for establishing a psychological relationship with the poor and the deprived in the month of Ramadan, they indulged themselves in carnal desires by doing this. We do not want to say that if somebody eats a delicious food during iftar, this is forbidden. No, according to Sharia, these things are not forbidden. But extravagance and overindulgence are forbidden. The extravagance which is sometimes witnessed in such occasions is forbidden. It is so much better for those who want to offer iftar meals to do this by cherishing the tradition which has become common. In such traditions, a number of individuals offer free iftar meals - with great generosity - to people and passers-by and those who like to benefit from these iftar meals on the streets and in different Hussayniyyahs. I hope that Allah the Exalted bestows His blessings on all of you people of Iran and accepts your actions. I advise all the brothers and sisters to observe piety in their speech, behavior and positions and in different social, economic and political arenas. These days, many events are taking place in West Asia, North Africa and, generally, in Islamic regions. I will briefly refer to a number of these events. In our own country, the important event is the formation of the new administration. Thankfully, with the determination and all-out efforts of the people, this legal request was granted and this national tradition was preserved in the best way possible. By Allah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s favor, after the Majlis carries out its responsibility of choosing competent ministers, the administration will be formed and it will start to fulfill the great and important tasks which it is in charge of although it has already started to fulfill many of the tasks. I hope that the honorable president and the executive officials of the country will benefit from divine blessings. I hope that the people\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s support and assistance will help them carry out the great responsibilities - great responsibilities have great advantages as well as great difficulties - which they have in the best way possible. However in countries which are located around us - countries in West Asia and North Africa - the events that are taking place are not happy events. Rather, they are worrying events. One event is the event of the oppressed Palestine. After the passage of 65 years since the official occupation of Palestine, this oppressed nation continues to suffer from oppression and cruelty on a daily basis. Houses are destroyed, innocent people are arrested, children are separated from their parents and prisons are filled with people who are innocent or who have served their prison terms. What is distressing is that western powers support these criminals with all their power. One of the disasters of today\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s world is that an act of clear oppression, which is a combination of tens and hundreds of oppressive acts, is supported by those who claim they support human rights and democracy and who chant beautiful and colorful slogans, but who support criminals in practice. Now, a number of negotiations have begun again between the self-governing government of Palestine and the Zionists. These negotiations will definitely not produce any results other than what happened during previous negotiations in which Palestinians gave up their rights and encouraged the transgressors to transgress more and stop the lawful political activities of the people of Palestine. They destroy houses, build unlawful buildings for the people who have occupied Palestine and then they say that they are negotiating. Now, they have announced that negotiations will be conducted in secret. The way global arrogance cooks these negotiations will definitely be to the disadvantage of the Palestinians. We believe that the world of Islam should not back down on the issue of Palestine and it should condemn the usurping act of the predatory and wolf-like Zionists and their international supporters. It should not let these negotiations which are conducted with the so-called mediation of America lead to more oppression against the people of Palestine and to the isolation of Muslim Palestinian fighters. In fact, America is not a mediator. Rather, the Americans themselves are one side of these negotiations and they are on the side of the usurpers of Palestine, the Zionists. Another issue is the issue of Egypt. We are concerned about what is happening in Egypt. Considering the things that are being done in this country, the idea that a civil war may break out in Egypt is gaining strength on a daily basis and this is a disaster. It is necessary for the great people of Egypt and political, scientific and religious personalities in this country to take a look at the current situation and see what catastrophic consequences this situation may have. They should see the current situation in Syria. They should see the consequences of the presence of western and Zionist mercenaries and terrorists wherever they are active. They should see these dangers. Democracy should receive attention. The killing of people is vigorously condemned by Muslims. Using the language of violence and bullying by different groups of people is absolutely useless and it will cause great harm. The intervention of foreign powers - the way it is witnessed in the present time - will produce nothing except for loss and harm. The problems of Egypt should be solved by the people of Egypt and the outstanding personalities of Egypt. They should think about the catastrophic and dangerous consequences of this situation. If, God forbid, there is mayhem and if, God forbid, a civil war breaks out, what can then preclude this? In such conditions, there will be excuse for the intervention of superpowers which are the greatest disaster for any country and nation. We are concerned. We would like to offer a brotherly piece of advice to outstanding Egyptian personalities, the people of Egypt, political and religious groups and religious scholars. They should think of a solution on their own and adopt this solution on their own. They should not allow foreigners and powers - whose intelligence services have, most likely, played a role in creating this situation - to make more interventions. Another issue is the issue of Iraq. In Iraq, a democratic administration and government has come to power with the votes of the people. Because superpowers and the reactionary forces of the region are unhappy about this situation, they do not want to let the people of Iraq feel comfort. These explosions, these killings and these criminal and terrorist activities results from the assistance and financial, political and arms support of a number of regional and ultra-regional powers which do not want to let the Iraqi nation live its life the way it wants. It is necessary for Iraqi politicians and officials, Iraqi groups, Shia and Sunni Muslims, Arabs and Kurds to take a look at the situation which exists in a number of other countries. They should notice that the consequences of civil wars and domestic conflicts, which destroy the infrastructures of any country, ruin the future of any nation. In all these events, the Zionist regime and usurpers sit and watch this situation with satisfaction and they feel comfort. Should this be allowed to continue? Dear God, by the blessedness of Muhammad (s.w.a.) and his household (a.s.), awaken us from ignorance. In order to be religious, people should first be trained to have a program and to plan. Help him or her to understand that we have to be disciplined. We must plan in addition to being disciplined, so that we can manage our own lives. They have told us repeatedly about this fact in the traditions that discipline is first. You prove God to me a hundred times, and I still don’t listen to him. You prove the Hereafter and other things too, and I still don’t obey, because my will has become stubborn. I can’t listen! I haven’t been disciplined. If we want to convince someone not to sin, the first step is to convince him that he can’t live without a program. Being without a program means being passive. A passive person doesn’t get up until he’s kicked. God hasn’t brought Hell to kick him now! It’s for later. So, he doesn’t do anything! He’ll only get up if he’s kicked! His temperament is such that his life is without any program. He does things when he’s forced to, threatened, encouraged, or someone is standing over his head. He doesn’t know how to live based on a program at all! If you keep telling him about Hell, it’s useless! This Hell isn’t now. It’s later on. This undisciplined person without any program won’t move himself because of a future Hell. He’ll move whenever he’s kicked. An undisciplined person won’t move himself because of a future Hell. If my child doesn’t pray, what can I do to get him or her to pray? I’m confused and don’t know what to do. Where should I start? Have you taught your child the key, necessary element in life, which is discipline? We ill-manneredly eat, say Salam, sleep, wake up, walk, dress... Ill-mannered, ill-mannered, ill-mannered! If a child isn’t disciplined, can you turn him into a disciplined person? It’s easy to add one or two etiquettes to a disciplined person. He observes the etiquettes about neighbors, about sleeping and being awake, about his own room, and about other things. It’s not hard if you add a couple more etiquettes. He says, “What should I do?” “Observe the etiquettes about the Lord.” “What are they?” “Stand like this and say ‘Allahu Akbar.’ Don’t move for five minutes. Prostrate. Bend. Stand up. There’s belief in God, but no discipline. There’s spirituality, but no discipline. It won’t work with just these! I’m not talking about whether dancing is forbidden, or not. Whether vulgar songs are vulgar, or not. Or, from what age should we teach children the differences between genders? I’m not talking about Islamic covering and other such things. People who don’t want discipline for children in Elementary Schools are criminals. The argument is not over religion! Everyone needs a plan to live. And, this planning should be in a person’s blood. For planning to be in a person’s blood, he or she must have been disciplined in childhood. This discipline may be that of the Communists, the East, or the West. But, there should be discipline! The politicians who advocate unruliness in the education environment are criminals. In order to convince someone not to sin, we must first convince them that we cannot live without a program. There children on the scene who all saw it al infold and had disturbing reaction. Child - No I'm not scared of nothing. Reporter- when you get older are you going to stay away from these guns Child - No Reporter - No What are you going to do when you get older Child - I'm gonna have me a gun Anchor - That is very scary indeed. So far no suspects in the shootings." At first, a viewer might think the children were hardened soon to be street criminals. But someone at Chicago's WBBM leaked the entire interview to journalism watchdog groups Again we apologize for what you see but listen to what the reporter and the child actually said. The US Civil rights group the NAACP wants action taken against the reporter and the editor. In American communities of color, civic groups have long complained about how they are portrayed on television and in newspapers. While many now say this is proof positive of a pervasive and long standing trend in American media, others who watch the industry say its is and isolated incident. Journalism Scholar and author Al Tompkins spoke with WBBM's New Director. He tells Press TV the station has admitted they made a gross mistake and that personnel responsible were disciplined. WBBM would not return phone calls to Press TV but issued an apology that said in part “We accept responsibility for the mistakes that were made, both in the reporting and editing of the story. TEHRAN (FNA)- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei stressed the necessity for a serious punishment of those guilty in the recent bank scam, and blamed the country\'s officials for their lack of diligence in preventing the case. \"Although authorities welcomed confrontation against economic corruption, but if action had been taken on my advice, we would have never been afflicted with such incidents as the recent corruption in the banking system,\" the Leader said, addressing a meeting with cultural and executive staff and personnel of Hajj in Tehran on Monday. Ten years ago, the Leader had made a series of recommendations for the country\'s officials requiring them to launch a tough combat on economic corruption. The Leader further underlined the necessity of stopping all covert and overt economic activities of such corrupt individuals as the ones involved in the recent bank scam. Ayatollah Khamenei further assured the Iranian people of the ruling system\'s resolve to confront and prevent similar economic corruption. The $2.8 billion embezzlement scandal involving seven government-owned and private banks, which had used fraudulent Saderat Bank documents to secure multi-billion dollar credit and purchase state-owned companies, was recently uncovered. Iran\'s Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani has appointed Prosecutor General Hojjatoleslam Gholam- Hossein Mohseni-Ejeii to investigate the case. On September 27, Mohseni Ejeii announced that 22 people had been arrested in connection with the case and that the exact nature of the fraud is still under investigation. According to the Prosecutor General, necessary measures have been taken to prevent the criminals from leaving the country or transferring money to offshore accounts. مسوولان، در ماجرای سوء استفاده استفاده را عمل نکردن مسوولان به توصیه های مؤکد چند سال پیش رهبری در خصوص مقابله با فساد اقتصادی توصیف و تأکید کردند: مسوولان قضایی ضمن پیگیری قوی، دقیق و عاقلانه قضیه و اطلاع رسانی مناسب به مردم، باید دستهای خائن را قطع کنند. حضرت آیت الله خامنه ای حج را یکی از رموز اساسی اسلام و میهمانی بزرگ الهی در مرکز عظمت و قدرت و جمال و کرَم توصیف کردند و افزودند: باید در بُعد عمومی و بین المللی حج، همدلی و تقویت پیوندهای اسلامی بدون در نظر گرفتن ملیت ها، قومیت ها و مذهب ها مورد توجه جدی قرار گیرد و از این فرصت برای نزدیک تر شدن دلها استفاده شود. ایشان یکی از ویژگیهای بارز حج امسال را، بیداری اسلامی در منطقه بویژه مصر، تونس، یمن و بحرین دانستند و تأکید کردند: با توجه به این رویداد مهم، امسال توطئه ایجاد اختلاف و بدبینی و تحریک احساسات میان امت اسلامی، برجسته تر خواهد بود و تنها راه غلبه بر این توطئه نزدیکتر شدن دلها و تقویت همدلی است. رهبر انقلاب اسلامی با تأکید بر اینکه مسلمانان یک تن واحد هستند، افزودند: حجاج ایرانی باید با چنین نگاه عمومی و جهانی در حج حضور یابند و تجربیات سی ساله خود در مبارزه با استکبار و معاندین را در اختیار ملتهای تازه انقلاب کرده، قرار دهند. حضرت آیت الله خامنه ای، رفتار خوب و همراه با ادب و احترام را از دیگر نکات ضروری برای حجاج ایرانی برشمردند و خاطر نشان کردند: حج فرصتی گرانبها برای پاکیزه شدن از آلودگی های دنیا و مجموعه ای از فرائض است که باید ضمن قدر دانستن این مراسم عظیم و کم نظیر، در حفظ ذخایر معنوی بدست آمده آن هم همت کرد. ایشان زائران بیت الله الحرام را به آماده سازی درونی خود، قبل از سفر حج و آماده شدن برای این میهمانی الهی توصیه کردند و افزودند: حاجی ایرانی باید با رفتار خود در حج، ملت، کشور و نظام جمهوری اسلامی ایران را در چشم دنیا سربلند کند. رهبر انقلاب اسلامی حجاج را به پرهیز از رفتارهای سبک توصیه و خاطر نشان کردند: یکی از این رفتارهای سبک، عطش بازارگردی است که علاوه بر اینکه ارز کشور را برای خرید کالاهای بی کیفیت به هدر می دهد، فرصت ارزشمند عبادت و بهره مندی معنوی را نیز از بین می برد. حضرت آیت الله خامنه ای با تأکید بر این که خرید سوغات باید در حد ضرورت باشد، خاطر نشان کردند: برخی افراد در اقدامی پسندیده سوغات خود را قبل از سفر حج، از بازار داخل و کالاهای خوب و با کیفیت ایرانی تهیه می کنند تا بتوانند در ایام حج بیشترین بهره مندی معنوی را از این فرصت کم نظیر داشته باشند. ایشان در پایان این بحث افزودند: معارف دینی، قرآن، سنت و اهل بیت، سرمایه های معنوی ما هستند که اگر از آنها استفاده شود، زمینه پیشرفت و سعادت بوجود می آید و اگر انسان خود را از این سرمایه ها محروم کند، قطعاً ضرر خواهد کرد. حضرت آیت الله خامنه ای در ادامه با اشاره به توصیه های مؤکد خود به مسوولان، در سالهای گذشته بویژه در فرمان ده سال قبل برای مبارزه با فساد اقتصادی خاطر نشان کردند: اگر چه مسوولان از مقابله با فساد اقتصادی استقبال کردند اما اگر به این توصیه ها عمل می شد، هیچگاه دچار چنین حوادثی همچون فساد بانکی اخیر نمی شدیم. ایشان افزودند: وقوع چنین مسائلی، ذهن و دل مردم را مشغول، و دل بسیاری را نیز می شکند و آیا این سزاوار است که بخاطر عمل نکردن مسوولان، مردم به سبب این حوادث ناراحت شوند و حتی برخی امید خود را از دست بدهند. رهبر انقلاب اسلامی خاطر نشان کردند: از همان سالهای قبل بارها گفته شد که نباید بگذاریم فساد ریشه دار شود زیرا با گذشت زمان، ریشه کنی ان بسیار مشکل می شود و سرمایه گذار پاکدامن و صادق را نیز مأیوس می کند، اما متأسفانه عمل نشد. حضرت آیت الله خامنه ای با اطمینان بخشی به مردم در خصوص عزم سه قوه برای مقابله با این حادثه و پیشگیری از حوادث مشابه، افزودند: البته عده ای می خواهند از این ماجرا برای زیر سؤال بردن مسوولان استفاده کنند، در حالیکه مسوولان در دولت، مجلس و قوه قضائیه مشغول انجام وظیفه خود هستند. ایشان با اشاره به اطلاع رسانی که در روز های گذشته در خصوص این حادثه انجام گرفته است، خاطر نشان کردند: رسانه ها بیش از این نباید به جنجال و هیاهو درباره این ماجرا ادامه دهند، بلکه باید به مسئولان اجازه دهند تا عاقلانه، مدبرانه، قوی و با دقت قضایا را پیگیری و بررسی کنند. رهبر انقلاب اسلامی تأکید کردند: ادامه هیاهو و جنجال، بخصوص اگر عده ای بدنبال استفاده های دیگر از این مسائل باشند، به صلاح نیست و همه باید مراقب باشند. حضرت آیت الله خامنه ای افزودند: مردم بدانند که مسوولان، این ماجرا را تا آخر پیگیری خواهند کرد و دستهای خائن قطع خواهد شد. ایشان با توصیه مؤکد به قوه قضائیه برای اطلاع رسانی مناسب به مردم در خصوص پیگیری این پرونده تأکید کردند: دستگاه قضایی نباید به افراد بدکاره، خرابکار و مفسد ترحم کند. در ابتدای این دیدار، حجت الاسلام و المسلمین قاضی عسگر نماینده ولی فقیه و سرپرست زائران ایرانی در گزارشی از فعالیتهای بعثه مقام معظّم رهبری برای برگزاری هر چه با شکوهتر حج، ارتقاء و تنوع بخشی برنامه های آموزشی حجاج، راه اندازی آموزش مجازی، انتشار فصل نامه های تخصصی حج، چاپ قرآن های نفیس همراه با ترجمه برای حجاج، استفاده از ظرفیت های صدا و سیما، برگزاری آزمون برای انتخاب روحانیون و معین های جدید کاروانها، تشکیل اتاق فکر، و استفاده بیش از پیش از دیپلماسی حج، از جمله اقدامات انجام گرفته است. آقای لیالی رئیس سازمان حج و زیارت نیز در گزارشی از قدامات اجرایی حج گفت: امسال 97 هزار زائر در قالب 588 کاروان و با استفاده از دو شرکت هواپیمایی ایرانی، به مکه و مدینه انتقال خواهند یافت و محل اسکان زائران ایرانی در مکه نسبت به سالهای قبل، به مسجد الحرام نزدیک تر شده است.
