A Noha about various martyrs of Karbala
Noha Lyrics:
Chorus:
Father of young Ruqayya; Akber, Asghar and Sajjad
Brother to al-Mujtaba, and abul-Fadhil Abbas
1
\\\"Al-Atash\\\" Rukayya cried; thirst apparent in her eyes; Allah-Allah
\\\"Al-Atash\\\" Rukayya cried; sorrow in her father\\\'s eyes; Allah-Allah
\\\"Al-Atash\\\" Rukayya cried; verve is in Abbas\\\'s eyes; Allah-Allah
\\\"Al-Atash\\\" Rukayya cries, her eyes meet Abbas\\\'s eyes, Allah-Allah
Ruqayya\\\'s hopes began to rise, her uncle would heed her cries
The children gathered around; watched the flag fall to the ground
From that point until her death, al-Atash had left her breath
2
Allahu Akber the adhaan came; the morning of the main campaign; Allah-Allah
Akber stood facing falsehood; ready to fight protecting good; Allah-Allah
Like the Prophet in every way; How did his father give him away; Allah-Allah
To battle he rode unconstrained; uncle Abbas had him well trained; Allah-Allah
Husayn went running at his behest; the spear embedded in his chest
If Ali looked down, he\\\'d cry; what evil my son must defy
Husayn pulled out that metal shard; the gates of Khayber weren\\\'t that hard
3
\\\"Hal-min nassir yansurunaa\\\"; calling out to the shia; Allah-Allah
Asghar\\\'s lips so dry with thirst; denied by that army cursed; Allah-Allah
Took that baby to the tent; showed them what their treatment meant; Allah-Allah
Those few that still had some heart; ran towards river Furaat; Allah-Allah
Hurmala raised his arrow; about to cause such great sorrow
The tiny throat no longer cries; this soul with Allah resides
The ground and sky are so aggrieved; that kind of blood they don\\\'t receive
4
Battle over, one man remains; tied up in hot burning chains; Allah-Allah
With inner strength he maintains calm; for now he is the true Imaam; Allah-Allah
Tortured and dragged through the street; this story he does repeat; Allah-Allah
The message spreads so far and wide; the message of Islam survives; Allah-Allah
Zainab and Imam Sajjad; sermons to Ibne-Ziyad
In Shaam young Ruqayya rests; with all the pain her wounds suggest
We await Al-Mehdi the holy guide; for only then will truth reside
5
Al-Hassan could not be there, but his letter his son did bare; Allah-Allah
Only an Imaam could know, such foresight Hassan did show, Allah-Allah
While he sought peace all his life, he knew his brother would face such strife; Allah-Allah
When Qasim sought to go and fight, that letter let him give his life; Allah-Allah
The young soldier could barely climb, on the horse even that time
In the battle he fell off his steed, Imaam rushed out to his need
Trampled Qasim is what he saw, but Imaam did not withdraw
6
Al-Atash Ruqayya cries; thirst apparent in her eyes; Allah-Allah
Permission Abbas does seek; he can\\\'t help but protect the weak; Allah-Allah
Haider\\\'s son so brave and pure; the flag held high and so assured; Allah-Allah
At the river would he drink first; horse nor man obey their thirst; Allah-Allah
He takes the mushk towards the tent; he must deliver its contents
The arrow hits his eye and bag; his arms cut off he drops that flag
Salaam on you brother Husayn; Islam\\\'s victory you must attain

Mulla Ali Fadhil reciting an English eulogy on the martydom of Imam Musa Al Kadhim
Lyrics:
The Shia are screaming crying...that their Imam is dead
And the skies are testifying...that holy blood was shed
Over his body...they cry can\'t you see
They cry can\'t you see...over his body
* * *
How are their hearts that believing...that when he dies they can\'t rest
And with the death of Al Khathom...tears are shed in East and West
Even the sky sheds tears for him...with Al Khathom laid to rest
With him gone even angels weep...him dying is their great test
Were it not for this tragedy...the Shia would not cry
And for his great calamity...the Shia\'s hearts will die
Over his body...they cry can\'t you see
They cry can\'t you see...over his body
* * *
With his death the days are darkened...and his Shia cry and weep
For these tears they will be oppressed...the cost of a love so deep
To many this love is a crime...after they sew what they reap
Love of al Khathom is an oath...an oath that Shia will keep
Imam Khathom was the Quraan...that his followers read
The love of Ahmed they had won...but now their hearts are dead
Over his body...they cry can\'t you see
They cry can\'t you see...over his body
* * *
The day turns dark with deep anger...like when Haydar\'s blood was shed
The same darkness poisons his son...a pool of blood for his bed
That blood did not start with Ali...it was shed from Zahra\'s head
After they slapped her and she cried...now al Khathom cries instead
This pure bloodline was always killed...so Khathom\'s death was fate
In Shia hearts love is instilled...for Mehdi they will wait
Over his body...they cry can\'t you see
They cry can\'t you see...over his body
* * *
Like the bee can\'t leave the flower...Imam Khathom they can\'t leave
Over his pure body they weep...and for endless nights they grieve
Like the young bird will leave its nest...Khathom\'s soul left and believe
And that soul belongs to Jannah...like Adam belonged to Eve
Between his sickness and his death...lies Imam Khathom\'s tears
Between his birth and his last breath...he cried for months and years
Over his body...they cry can\'t you see
They cry can\'t you see...over his body

LYRICS:
Ya Imam!
We heard your father foretold,
\\\"One\\\'s religion will be harder to hold
Than gripping onto a burning coal
at the end of times” Now here we are
Some praying hypocritically ain’t it bizarre?
so it\\\'s better if you don\\\'t return just yet-
the only one suffering to that extent,
- not hiding or attempting to circumvent -
is #ShaykhZakzaky and a handful of others
not even 1%
The rest of us are busy living the rat-race,
And those who strut around with utmost grace
Representatives of the Deen of the Human Race
are no different today than they were 1000 years ago –
When betrayal and cowardice used to flow
Instead of blood through their veins,
Ready to take no pains, ready to suffer no trials
All the while, got you stuck in your comfort zone
So tell me again why a youth like me ought to stand alone?
stand alone?
stand alone?
So tell me again why a youth like me ought to stand alone?
It’s a joke. But it ain’t funny.
People doing what they do
For just a bit of money.
The two Qiblahs of the Muslims are occupied
Would the Prophet have laughed or would he have cried?
The Leader proved that we could go so far
The sky is the limit, but you’re sat on the sofa
Forget about speaking out against America-
You can’t even tell me it’s haram to go to the bar -
Shh- MI6 could have us on the radar-
“God forbid my reputation gets marred”-
next year they won’t call me back to Zanzibar
Shopping around in the community bazar
While you ride around in your fancy little car,
Sitting with politicians eatin’ caviar,
The war in Venezuela’s what paid for your cigar,
Mum said to listen to you, coz you’re a scholar
But reality is - You’re a celebrity, not a shining star-
- You’re no less than the People of Kufa
What you say and what you do is so far
From one another so Tell me again how for me,
The Holy Prophet’s an exemplar!
It’s a joke. But it ain’t funny.
People doing what they do
For just a bit of money.
The two Qiblahs of the Muslims are occupied
Would Imam have laughed or would he have cried?
You see all too clearly what we do –
while neglecting utterly the cause of Palestine,
and the cause of Zakzaky too,
we’ve neglected Yemen and
are compliant to the People of Lut -
All the while, stirring up an “Islamic” tea
To serve with utmost akhlaq to you and to me,
But within the cup ain’t a drop of purity-
From the wide and vast Islamic sea,
All you see in your cup is hypocrisy,
While you’re sipping away,
in prison is a scholar named Zakzaky -
It’s not Islam AT ALL, don’t you see?
Like a fake brand name, slapping the name
Of Husayn on piece of cloth, doesn’t make it the same.
- they call them scholars- but they’re Insane
scholars for dollars
And they only exist because this nation
Doesn’t stop filling their pockets with elation
Take a hike, take a vacation-
Please - not to Buckingham palace
drinking from a tyrant’s chalice
Kissing up to the kings of malice
Being callous towards those who need us most
You sit on the pulpit and boast
While the children of Yemen are toast
children of Palestine roast
there’s only suffering Coast-to-coast,
But you’re thoroughly enjoying your post,
Adios Amigos, Trump in the White House
Mr. Bean at number 10
You say NOTHING time and time again -
Stop the charade of being wise men,
Because you’re nothing but comedians
Jesters at the foot of Big Ben,
While you give the masses all of your charm
Imam Husayn never needed your salaam…
If you don’t rise up- say Goodbye to Islam

==============================
Human beings don’t seek to achieve anything unless they have an inner knowledge of it. People don’t start with learning and experiencing. People start every action and their life with a kind of restlessness. What does being restless mean? They understand something is within themselves and they look for it. There is some obscure asset, but we don’t know exactly what it is and we don’t know why we’re restless. So we try to find it. It’s the same when people are choosing a goal. They constantly think, “What goal is better for me?” An inner knowledge helps them in choosing their goal. When you reach this goal, you say, “You are what eases my restless heart.”
More than trying to choose our goal, we must try to find our goal within ourselves. We ourselves must discover what our goal is, not what our goal should be. We have an inner knowledge within us for choosing our goal. God hasn’t created us without a goal. So choosing a goal is not in our hands. Our goal in life has been chosen for us from before. “O human beings, surely you must strive (to attain) to your Lord, a hard striving until you meet Him.” [Qur’an 84:6] You will eventually meet God, but you will suffer on this path. This won’t be easy. It’s complicated and difficult. [God says,] “I’ve created you in this way. So go wherever you want.”
This is the only suitable goal for a person. Not being suitable doesn’t mean being valueless. It means it’s impossible. [So we’re not saying,] “Try not to choose any other goals!” No, you aren’t able to choose another goal. Other things can’t be your goal. They won’t set you on fire. This is our nature. “The nature made by God in which He has made men.” [Qur’an 30:30] We have been created in a way that this is what we want.
How did the Commander of the Faithful, Ali (as), choose his goal? One is surprised at this. What was the Imam’s feeling about his goal - getting close to God? Imam Husayn (as) said, “Whenever I saw my father, the Commander of the Faithful (as), he was crying.” O Imam, what is this goal doing to you? We know in general that this goal is probably God and getting close to Him. We don’t have Imam Ali’s (as) wisdom. We can’t imagine, “O Imam, you constantly cried for this? You cried for it every night. What had this goal done to you?! Tell me a little so that it may affect me some too. Why am I so unfeeling?!”
In the story narrated by Nauf, he said the same thing. He saw Imam Ali (as) was restless as he was moving away. He asked the Imam, “Where are you going?” See what Imam said. “I’m going toward my longings.” O Imam, may I be sacrificed for you. What are your longings? Nauf asked the Imam, “What are your longings?” He knew the answer in general but wanted to know more.
Do you know how the Imam responded? What innocence! What glory! He said, “The One Who should know my longings, knows.” He didn’t answer. He wanted to talk to God Himself. Imam, so you have a longing, but you can rest now. God knows you. You love Him. And He loves you. So why do you want to go and cry?! You’re friends with God! One cannot understand this. The fact that we can’t understand Imam Ali (as) shows that we haven’t yet found this goal and it hasn’t set us on fire yet.
We should be calm, like a still water in which the bottom of the pond can be seen. O goal, pull us to you and captivate us. Introduce yourself to me.
So choosing a goal is not in our hands. Our goal in life has been chosen for us from before. “O human beings, surely you must strive (to attain) to your Lord, a hard striving until you meet Him.” [Qur’an 84:6] You will eventually meet God. We have been created in a way that this is what we want. [So we’re not saying,] “Try not to choose any other goals!” No, you aren’t able to choose another goal.

Other things can’t be your goal. They won’t set you on fire.

The documentary 'Lifeline to Gaza' about the Viva Palestina convoy
A message from George Galloway
More than 1,300 dead – more than 400 of them children – and still they are dragging bodies from the ruins.
The death toll in Gaza is rising, while the world’s leaders and media look away in search of a new story.
We will not look away. The Palestinians in Gaza need our help now, just as they did when Israel’s bombs and illegal weapons were dropping.
Thousands of people have contacted me to say that they have marched, cried at the television pictures and feel helpless in the face of the suffering.
That’s why I have launched a major initiative in response to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. I will be leading an aid convoy from London to Gaza leaving on 14 February and travelling through France, Spain, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and through Rafah and into Gaza. It will bring material aid and raise the banner of Palestine in all the countries that we visit.
The convoy will be led by a British fire engine, ambulances, and many trucks full of practical aid given by the various communities in Britain.
It is quite an undertaking, which I anticipate will have a high public profile throughout its journey and on its arrival in Gaza, god willing, some 30 days later.
The convoy is already supported by the Stop the War Coalition – which organised the largest demonstrations in British history – as well as the Anglo-Arab Organisation, several British trade unions and a large number of Muslim organisations. Fundraising for the convoy is taking place all over Britain.
We urgently need your help
Money: please organise fundraisers, collections, donations which the convoy will get directly to the people of Gaza.
Cheques should be made payable to “Lifeline for Gaza” and sent to

An aide to defeated presidential candidate Mir-Hossein Mousavi says that the post-election rioters are "not supporters of, or linked to Mousavi or his camp."
Mahmoud Rabi'ee, Mousavi's campaign adviser in the Golestan Province, denounced the recent unrest which led to vandalism, arson and clashes with the riot police throughout Iran.
Mousavi, who according to the Interior Ministry has lost to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad even in the East-Azerbaijan province where he hails from, cried foul and described the election as a 'charade' - an allegation denied by the president and his interior minister, who was in charge of holding the election.
"We are supporting Mousavi to continue the path of [the late leader of the Islamic Revolution] Imam Khomeini and those who lost their lives and made sacrifices for the Islamic Republic," Rabi'ee said on Wednesday.
"We have objections to the election results, but we show our objections by the means of silence," he added.
The election results, which marked a landslide victory for the incumbent president, caused mass rallies by hundreds of thousands of Mousavi's supporters.
On occasions the rallies turned violent and resulted in casualties. Eight people have so far been confirmed dead in the ensuing clashes between the police and the protesters. Many others have been injured in the unrest.
Rabi'ee added that a number of 'miscreants' are attempting to de-fame Mousavi and his supporters "by conducting acts of vandalism in our name."
The Mousavi camp seeks to pursue its complaints regarding 'electoral irregularities' through legal means and has pleaded the authorities to provide for the peaceful proceeding of the reported 'violations'

They cried and beat their chests in mourning for the loss of Imam Hussein, the Prophet Muhammad's grandson.
Hussein was killed in 680 AD along with his supporters by the army of the caliph Yazid in the Iraqi city of Karbala.
And ever since, Shia Muslims especially have commemorated the event by reliving the pain and sorrow endured by Hussain and his family.
The congregation was told that the events of Karbala are still relevant today in 21st century Britain.
And they were reminded that Imam Hussain sacrificed his own life in the cause of justice.
Later, a well attended march was held in central London, despite it being the middle of the working week and the miserable weather.
As you can see behind me thousands of Shia Muslims are marching through central London to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain, the Prophet Muhammad's grandson. And according to them, the message of this day is the duty of all Muslims to stand up against tyranny and oppression.
The marchers told me that the message of Ashura is particularly relevant in a world where Muslims are still being oppressed. And where sectarianism is being promoted by some parties.
They vowed to learn the lessons from this momentous day and to implement them in their lives.

On a Thursday, just three days before the demise of Prophet (PBUH&HF), the Messenger of Allah asked for pen and paper in order to state his last will and repeat the declaration/assignment of his successor for his Ummah. Major Sunni sources including Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim mentioned that an opposition group among the companions whose leader was Umar, accused prophet of talking non sense (May Allah protect us) in order to prevent this writing. They questioned the rationality of Prophet to discredit his will. Below is some of the traditions concerning this tragic episode:
It is narrated in Sahih Muslim that:
Ibn Abbas said:\"Thursday! And how tragic that Thursday was!\" Then Ibn Abbas cried severely so that his tears flowed to his cheeks. Then he added Prophet said:\"Bring me a flat bone or a sheet and an ink so that I could write (order to write) a statement that will prevent you people to go astray after me.\" They said: \"Verily the messenger of Allah is talking no sense.\" (Reference: Sahih Muslim, Chapter of \"Kitabul-Wasiyyah \" in section \"Babut-Tarkil-Wasiyyah\", 1980 Edition, Arabic version (Saudi Arabia), v3, P1259, Tradition (#1637/21).)
The other version is given by al-Bukhari and Muslim which indicates the role of Umar in that catastrophe: Sahih al-Bukhari Hadiths: 9.468 and 7.573
Narrated Ibn \'Abbas: When the time of the death of the Prophet approached while there were some men in the house, and among them was \'Umar Ibn al-Khattab, the Prophet said: \"Come near let me write for you a writing after which you will never go astray.\" \'Umar said: \"The Prophet is seriously ill, and you have the Quran, so Allah\'s Book is sufficient for us.\" The people in the house differed and disputed. Some of them said, \"Come near so that Allah\'s Apostle may write for you a writing after which you will not go astray,\" while the others said what \'Umar said. When they made much noise and quarreled greatly in front of the Prophet, he said to them,\"Go away and leave me.\" Ibn \'Abbas used to say,\" It was a great disaster that their quarrel and noise prevented Allah ‘s Apostle from writing a statement for them.
The above tradition can also be found in Sahih Muslim, Chapter of \"Kitabul- Wasiyyah\" in section \"Babut-Tarkil-Wasiyyah\", 1980 Edition, Arabic version (Saudi Arabia), v3, p1259, Tradition (#1637/22).
As you see in the above traditions, the Prophet (PBUH&HF) was accused of talking no sense by an opposition group among the companions whose leader was Umar. In the above tradition, Ibn Abbas mentioned Umar and his company PREVENTED Prophet from writing his will which could prevent people from going astray after him. So the conclusion from the above tradition is that the writing it did NOT take place. In the following tradition, however, Sa\'id Ibn Jubair alleged that the Prophet said three things but he has forgotten the third one which was beneficial for Muslims: Sahih al-Bukhari Hadith: 4.393
Narrated Said bin Jubair:
I heard Ibn \'Abbas saying, \"Thursday! And you know not what Thursday is? After that Ibn \'Abbas wept till the stones on the ground were soaked with his tears. On that I asked Ibn \'Abbas, \"What is (about) Thursday?\" He said, \"When the condition (i.e. health) of Allah\'s Apostle deteriorated, he said,\'Bring me a bone of scapula, so that I may write something for you after which you will never go astray.\' The people differed in their opinions although it was improper to differ in front of a prophet, They said,\'What is wrong with him? Do you think he is talking no sense (delirious)? Ask him (to see if he is talking no sense). The Prophet replied,\'Leave me, for I am in a better state than what you are asking me.\'
Then the Prophet ordered them to do three things saying: \'Turn out all the pagans from the Arabian Peninsula, show respect to all foreign delegates by giving them gifts as I used to do.\' The third order was something beneficial which either Ibn \'Abbas did not mention or he mentioned but I forgot!
Sa\'id Ibn Jubair claims that Prophet said three things but he has forgotten the third one which was beneficial for Muslims. It is interesting to see that the narrators who used to memorize thousands of traditions, simply forgot the last will of Prophet (PBUH&HF). Now if you look at the two things that the sub-narrator allegedly attributed to the Prophet, i.e.,
1. Expelling pagans from Arabian Peninsula 2. respecting foreign delegates
One can see that these are not the things that if Muslim do, they will NEVER go astray after Prophet. The matter should be much more important that would Guarantee the salvation of Muslims, and it could be no less important than the subject of leadership. Moreover such claim contradicts the saying of Ibn Abbas (in the early mentioned traditions) who claimed that the quarrel of the companions prevented the prophet from stating his will. Here is the last tradition I would like to mention in this regard.
Sahih al-Bukhari Hadith: 5.716
Narrated Ibn Abbas:
Thursday! And how tragic that Thursday was! The ailment of Allah\'s Apostle became worse (on Thursday) and he said \"Bring me something so that I (order) to write for you something after which you will never go astray.\" The people (present there) quarreled in this matter, and it was not right to quarrel in front of prophet. They said, \"What is wrong with him? (Do you think) he is talking no sense (delirious)?\"
The above tradition is also in Sahih Muslim, Chapter of \"Kitabul-Wasiyyah\" in section \"Babut-Tarkil-Wasiyyah\", 1980 Edition, Arabic version, (Saudi Arabia), v3, pp 1257-58, Tradition (#1637/20).
More addresses for similar traditions:
Sahih al-Bukhari, in the chapter named \"The Book of Knowledge \"
(Kitabul-Ilm), also in the chapter named \"The Book of Medicine \"
(Kitabut-Tib), also in the chapter named \"Kitabul Itisam bil Kitab was-Sunnah\".
Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, v1,pp 232,239,324f,336,355.
And much more...
Also as indicated above (Sahih al-Bukhari Hadiths: 9.468 and 7.573), Umar said: \"The Prophet is seriously ill, and you have the Quran, so Allah\'s Book is sufficient for us.\" Umar and those who supported him prevented prophet from writing (ordering to write) that statement, by accusing him of talking no sense. As I have mentioned in the discussion about \"Quran and Ahlul-Bayt\", prophet clearly indicated that we should follow both Quran AND Ahlul-Bayt in order not to go astray. So Quran alone is not sufficient as opposed to what Umar said above.
There is a bizarre commentary in the footnote of above traditions in Sahih Muslim (1980 Edition, Arabic version). It says: The above incident shows the high virtue of Umar, since he knew that people might not follow what prophet would write, and as a result, people would go to hell because of their disobedience of the order of prophet. So Umar prevented Prophet from writing, in order to save people from going to hell !
Also in the footnote of the same section of Sahih Muslim it is mentioned that Prophet possibly wanted to assign a Caliph on that Thursday, and the matter might have been the matter of successorship which caused such dispute.
In fact, most of the people who where present there, understood the intention of prophet, the same as what Umar did. Because prophet had previously indicated the issue when he said several times that:
\"I shall leave for you two precious Symbols: The book of Allah, and my progeny, that is my family (Itrat & Ahlul-bayt). If you follow them, you will never go astray after me.\" (Sahih al-Tirmidhi; a close version is also given in Sahih Muslim),
And also they were present in GHADIR KHUM where prophet said: \"Whoever I am his master, Ali is his master.\" (see Sahih al-Tirmidhi; Sunan Ibn Maja; Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal; al-Mustadrak, by al-Hakim; Khasa\'is, by al-Nisa\'i).
So when prophet during his illness said that \"Let me write something that you never go astray after me\", those people who were present, including Umar, quickly understood that prophet wants to repeat what he had already mentioned, but this time in writing.
A few Quranic verses should also be mentioned here. Allah said in Quran:
* \"O you who believe! Do not raise your voices above the voice of prophet ... lest your deeds become null while you do not perceive.\" (Quran 49:2).
* Allah also said: \"Nor does he (prophet) speak out of his desire. (What he says) is nothing but revelation that is revealed.\" (Quran 53:3-4).
* He, Exalted, also said: \"Whatever apostle tells you accept it, and from whatever he forbids you, keep back.\" (Quran 59:7).
* He, Exalted He is, also said: But no by thy Lord! They can have no Faith until they make thee judge in ALL disputes between them and find in their souls no resistance against thy decisions but accept them with the fullest conviction. (Quran 4:65)
So when such a prophet, three days before his death, wished to write a document of his will to save the Muslims from going astray, he was accused of talking no sense (paranoid)!
The reason that prophet did not repeat his request (if it is true) was that he already was discredited by his companions and was accused of talking no sense. So even if he would say something, those people would not believe in him and would say such instruction has been given while he was talking no sense (paranoid). So Umar made it easy, and by saying that prophet is talking nonsense, ended it up.
There are few Sunni traditions which allege that prophet was confused to assign which person as his successor and finally failed to assign any body as his successor and left it to people to decide. Some even claim that prophet was willing to assign Abu Bakr, but he left it to people.
If Umar have ever heard of such sayings (that prophet was willing to assign Abu Bakr as his successor), he would never stop prophet from stating his will, and would never accuse him of talking no sense. Rather he would let prophet tell his will and assign Abu Bakr as his successor. We all know, the main support in \"Saqifah Bani Sa\'idah\" for the secret nomination of Abu Bakr for Caliphate, was Umar.
So if Umar have not heard of such traditions (the tendency of Prophet to assign Abu Bakr), there is a great possibility that those traditions were fabricated later.
Also it contradicts several authentic Sunni traditions regarding the assignment of Ali-Ibn-Abi-Talib as prophet\'s successor. As you know there are a huge number of fabricated traditions which was created by several pay-rolled scholars in support of some rulers, and mainly to justify what happened.
Finally, I would like to bring to your attention the importance and seriousness of the tragedy:
1- Notice that any person utters his most important wishes when he wants to write the statement of his will at the end of his life.
2- Notice the importance of the person who wants to write the will, who is the last Prophet of God, the best mankind ever. No human in the world was more enthusiastic than him about his community. The person who Allah has ordered us in Quran to follow him unconditionally.
3- Notice that prophet said this statement would be the key element in the destiny of Muslims according to the above traditions. They will never go astray if they abide it.
In such critical moment, people who claimed to be his sincere companions, stopped/insulted him. Those companions are responsible for misleading the Muslims throughout history and the generations to come.

Side Comments
=============
Reading the article, a Sunni brother commented that: How could Umar prevent the manifestation of a Divine Commandment? If writing the will was the order of Allah to his Prophet, then how could be possible that Allah fails to manifest His own wish?
This brother has confused two different issues. Umar was able to prevent the manifestation of divine commandment since he was a human and was gifted some free will. Yet, Umar or any other human can NEVER prevent what Allah foreordained (Taqdir) and what Allah wills (Mashiyyah). Please take a note of this: There is a difference between the commandment of Allah (which people can disobey) and the will of Allah (which people have no ability to go against). It was the commandment of Allah to write that statement, yet the Will of Allah was what happened.
=========
Another brother mentioned that Prophet Muhammad never wrote a single commandment or teaching of his during his 23 years of ministry. Then how could he order people to bring pen and paper to write somthing for them?
Yes, the messenger of Allah did not write in public, because he used to dictate writing. However, this does not mean that he did not know how to write. It is also true that the Prophet was \"Ummi\", but this does not necessarily mean he did not know how to read and write. It rather means that Prophet did not have any human teacher to teach him how to read and write since the time he was born to his mother (\"Ummi\" derived from \"Umm\" meaning mother). His only teacher was Allah. And this is why Quran is a true miracle from a person who did not have a teacher and he who did not go to school. I would say, clearing doubt about the Quran as God\'s revelation was the only reason that the Messenger of Allah was not ordered attempt to write in public or claim as such.
Reading and writing not only in Arabic but also in all other languages, as well as the knowledge of language of all other creatures are not a lot to claim for the master of all messengers when we see in Quran that Prophet Sulayman and David knew the language of the animals. Again, all such knowledge could be released to the Prophet when he really needed, by the permission of Allah. But to the time it is not necessary, he would act as if he does not have such knowledge. It is like having access to the database rather than having all the knowledge within oneself.
About the Tragedy of Thursday, however, what the Prophet (PBUH&HF) meant by \"writing\" was the common sense of \"ordering to write\", and people were aware of it and was not the first time they have heard of it. Based on the traditions no body even said at that time that how he wants to write. Moreover, even we suppose that Prophet wanted to write by himself and people did not know about his ability to write, they could have given him the benefit of doubt (!!) to see if he can do such miracle (!?) beside all the miracles he has had already shown. Were they suspicious to his miracles?
This is the same Prophet that God said about him \"laa yantqu anil Hawaa\" (he does not talk of his own desires)? Never mind verses 33:36, 59:7, 4:80, 4:59, etc., and yet to justify a disobedience by some companions can we accuse him of rave? Did God know that there would be a time that His prophet could not stand to the above standard, and still going ahead and revealing such verses in his honor?
=========
Another brother mentioned that if the Prophet inteneded to appoint Ali as the Imam, why did he not do so in the presence of the whole people and not in his house few days before his demise?
The Prophet had already declared the appointment Imam Ali as Imam in many occasions from his first open preach in Mecca (see al-Tabari English, v6, pp 88-92; Ibn al-Athir, v2, p62; Ibn Asakir, v1, p85; al-Durr al-Manthoor, by al-Suyuti, v5, p97) to his last open sermon in Ghadir Khum (see Sahih Tirmidhi, v2, p298; Sunan Ibn Maja, v1, pp 12,43; Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal; al-Mustadrak, by al-Hakim; Khasa\'is, by al-Nisa\'i). Note that it was not Prophet who appointed him on his own, but it was rather Allah who appointed him.
What the messenger of Allah wanted to do in his last will was to write (or order to write) what he has already said. But, as quoted earlier, some people around him shamelessly reduced him to the level of insanity. What happened on that thursday is a proof by itself that the Prophet ALREADY assigned a successor, otherwise, there was no point of disobedience!
=========
Another person mentioned the verse \"Today I have perfected your religion and completed my bounty upon you, and I was satisfied that Islam be your religion (Quran 5:3)\" which was revealed 2 months before the death of the Prophet shows that there was no new religious command is going to come thereafter. Otherwise, if that important statement the prophet was going to dictate to his followers would have been somthing which was forgotten, would make the verse untrue.
Perhaps the above brother would be surprized to know that many Sunni commentators of Quran have confirmed that the above verse (5:3) was revealed in Ghadir Khum AFTER the Messenger of Allah said: \"Whoever I am his leader, Ali is his leader. O\' God, love those who love him, and be hostile to those who are hostile to him.\" (See the ariticled titled \"Ghadir Khum\" for extensive references). This means the perfection of the religion was due announcing the successor of the Prophet (PBUH&HF).
In fact what prophet wanted to do on that Thursday (three days before his death) was just to repeat, to remind, and to emphasize the things that has been revealed before. He didn\'t want to add any thing new.
No Muslim ever claimed that the position of prophethood has been taken from Muhammad sometime before his death. We do not have such case about other prophets either. Even let\'s suppose he was not prophet any more, or he wanted to say something new. Do you think you can find any man better or more enthusiastic than him about the destiny of his community?! Do you think his last wish was against the prosperity of his people?! How much should they have been rude that even they didn\'t let him talk!!!

=============
=========
=========
=========

The Term \"Shia\" in Quran and Hadith
The word \"Shia\" means \"followers; members of party\". As such, the term \"Shia\" alone has no negative or positive meaning unless we specify the leader of the party. If one is a Shia (follower) of the most righteous servants, then there is nothing wrong with being Shia, specially if the leader of such party has been assigned by Allah. On the other hand, if one becomes the Shia a tyrant or a wrong-doer, he shall meet with the fate of his leader. In fact, Quran indicates that on the day of Judgment people will come in groups, and each group has its leader in front of it. Allah, to whom belong Might and Majesty, said:
One day We shall call every group of people by their respective Imams. (Quran 17:71)
In the day of judgment, the destiny of the \"followers\" of each group highly depends on the destiny of his Imam (provided that they really followed that Imam). Allah mentioned in Quran that there are two types of Imams. Some Imams are those who invite people to Hell fire. They are tyrannical leaders of each era (like Pharaoh, etc.):
And We made them (but) Imams inviting to the Fire; and on the Day of Judgment no help shall they find. In this world We continued to curse them; and on the Day of Judgment they will be among the hateful. (Quran 28:41-42).
Certainly, being the members of the parties of such Satanic Imams has been severely denounced in Quran, and the followers of such parties will meet the fate of their leaders. However, Quran also reminds that there are Imams who are appointed by Allah as Guides for the mankind:
\"And We ASSIGNED from among them some Imams who GUIDE by Our authority since they were patient and believed firmly in Our Signs.\" (Quran 32:24)
Certainly, the true followers (Shia) of these Imams will be the real prosperous on the day of resurrection. Thus being a Shia does not mean anything, unless we know the Shia of whom. Allah mentioned in Quran that Some of His righteous servants were Shia of His other righteous servants. An example was Prophet Abraham who was mentioned in Quran specifically as the Shia of Noah:
\"And most surely Abraham was among the Shia of him (i.e., Noah)\" (Quran 37:83)
\"And he (Moses) went into the city at a time when people (of the city) were not watching, so he found therein two men fighting, one being of his Shia and the other being his enemy, and the one who was of his Shia cried out to him for help against the one who was of his enemy\" (Quran 28:15)
In the above verse of Quran, one is named the Shia of Moses (AS) and the other one is named the enemy of Moses, and the people at that time were either the Shia or the enemy of Moses (AS). Thus Shia is an official word used by Allah in His Quran for His high rank prophets as well as their followers. Do you want to say Prophet Abraham was sectarian? How about Prophet Noah and Prophet Moses?
If somebody calls himself a Shia, it is not due to any sectarianism, nor any innovation. It is because Quran has used the phrase for some of His best servants. The above verses that I mentioned in support of Shia, has used this term singular form (i.e., one group of followers). This means that it has special meaning, such as: THE Shia of Noah (AS), THE Shia of Moses (AS). Also in the History of Islam, Shia has been specially used for the \"followers of Ali\". The first individual who used this term was the Messenger of Allah himself:
The Messenger of Allah said to Ali: \"Glad tiding O Ali! Verily you and your companions and your Shia (followers) will be in Paradise.\"

6.al-Darqunti, who said this tradition has been transmitted via numerous authorities.
7.al-Sawa\'iq al-Muhriqah, by Ibn Hajar Haythami , Ch. 11, section 1, p247
Thus the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF) used to say the phrase of \"Shia of Ali\". This phrase is not something invented later! Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HF) said that the TRUE followers of imam Ali will go to Paradise, and this is a great felicity. Also Jabir Ibn Abdillah al-Ansari narrated that:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF) said: \"The Shia of Ali are the real victorious in the day of resurrection/rising\"

And heaven glory, having kissed thy roof.
Thy face illumes the six-directioned world;

Whatever things have being, find in thee
True exaltation, and thy poverty

Thou litst the lamp of life, as thou didst teach
Gods servitors a godly mastery.
Without thee, whatsoever form indwelt
This habitat of water and of clay

Till, when thy breath drew fire from the cold dust
And Adam made of earths dead particles,
Each atom caught the skirts of sun and moon,
Suddenly conscious of its inward strength.
Since first my gaze alighted on thy face
Dearer than father and dear mother thou

For all my spirit is consumed in me,

Be lusterless the mirror of my heart,
Or be my words by aught but the Koran
Informed, O thou whose splendour is the dawn
Of every age and time, whose vision sees
All that is in mens breasts, rend now the veil
Of my thoughts shame; sweep clean the avenue
Of my offending thorns; choke in my breast
The narrow breath of life; thy people guard
Against the mischief of my wickedness;
Nurse not to verdure my untimely seed,
Grant me no portion of springs fecund showers,
Wither the vintage in my swelling grapes
And scatter poison in my sparkling wine;
Disgrace me on the Day of Reckoning,
Too abject to embrace thy holy feet.
But if I ever threaded on my chain
The pearl of the Korans sweet mysteries,
I to the Muslims I have spoken true,
O thou whose bounty raises the obscure
Unto significance, one prayer from thee
Is ample guerdon for my words, desert;
Plead thou to God my cause, and let my love
Be locked in the embrace of godly deeds.
Thou hast accorded me a contrite soul,
A part of holy learning; stablish me

Of my thoughts shame; sweep clean the avenue
Of my offending thorns; choke in my breast
The narrow breath of life; thy people guard
Against the mischief of my wickedness;
Nurse not to verdure my untimely seed,
Grant me no portion of springs fecund showers,
Wither the vintage in my swelling grapes
And scatter poison in my sparkling wine;
Disgrace me on the Day of Reckoning,
Too abject to embrace thy holy feet.
But if I ever threaded on my chain
The pearl of the Korans sweet mysteries,
I to the Muslims I have spoken true,
O thou whose bounty raises the obscure
Unto significance, one prayer from thee
Is ample guerdon for my words, desert;
Plead thou to God my cause, and let my love
Be locked in the embrace of godly deeds.
Thou hast accorded me a contrite soul,
A part of holy learning; stablish me

Am I not Fatima Zahra? By: Nouri Sardar, Recited by: Ali Fadhil. Originally produced by: Ahlul-Bayt TV. A lyrical poem (marthia) about the tragedy of Hazrat Fatima (a.s.). I do not own the audio or the artwork used.
Marthia Lyrics:
Tell me people why my tears flow am I not Fatimah Zahra?
Tell me people why my tears flow why the door and why the fire?
Tell me people why the nail why do I cry and why the fire?
Oh people of the world listen. I am the daughter of Ahmed.
I am the rose of his vision. My name flows in the tears he sheds.
I\\\'m the leader of all women, their hands to heaven by me led.
So tell me why oh creation between the wall and door I bled?
Am I not just? Me don\\\'t you trust?
I was born pure me don\\\'t you trust?
In my two eyes rest all my cries with them my wails and my screams
In my two eyes rest all my cries after all the pain they have seen
So I wail why the nail why do I cry and why the fire?
As my tears rest beneath my eyes I ask you take me to patience.
I do not know where patience lies nor do I know where is justice.
I cried for Ahmed in my nights and you told me to leave this place.
They pushed the door against my cries and they struck me upon my face.
The broke my rib, all my worship prays against them
All my worship prays against them, all my worship
Do tears not flow when I tell you how my rib broke behind the door?
Do not tears flow when I tell you how from my chest my blood it\\\'s poured?
From the nail why the nail why do I cry and why the fire?
Should I tell you about Mohsin were he to be born beautiful?
But they crushed me and crushed my son from my chest by the door I fell.
I heard him cry a scream of screams saying: \\\"Mother to you I tell
I wish I\\\'d grown up by your side but now to your son say farewell.\\\"
I talked to him this sad orphan
Throughout the day and throughout night
I talk to him this sad orphan now all I talk to is the night.
Farewell my child. Why the nail why do I cry and why the fire?

A noha about Fatima Sughra, the daughter of Imam Hussain (a.s.) left behind in Madinah.
Noha Lyrics:
1
I wake up to find you have left, oh father
My tears drip down and they flow like a river
Please come back I ask you by our Creator
I have never been away from you ever
I miss your scent and kiss, oh son of Haidar
And my name is the sweet name of your mother
You\\\'ve given me this name and you I do not blame
Your mother she loved you and my love is the same (2xs)
Your words I want to hear, you leave me with my tears
And leave my heart broken, and leave my heart broken
Chorus
You take all the children, you take all the women,
So why did you leave me and leave my heart broken?
You leave me alone here, you leave me with my tears
And leave my heart broken and leave my heart broken
2
I stand and wait at my door for your return
You left me but took all the other children
With every passing day I feel my heart burn
I long to kiss you, your warmth is what I yearn
You are my rose, my flower, and my vision
Without Hussain to who am I left to turn
I\\\'m surrounded by night, father you were my light
I live in a shadow without hearing or sight (2xs)
I long to hold you near, you leave me with my tears
And leave my heart broken, and leave my heart broken
3
He tells me \\\"Oh my rose, why are your eyes wet\\\"?
I tell him \\\"your absence my heart can\\\'t accept\\\"
\\\"My father every night at your side I\\\'ve slept\\\"
\\\"I\\\'ve never met anyone like you I\\\'ve met\\\"
\\\"Your hand in my hand always I would have kept\\\"
\\\"Everyday I was apart from you I\\\'ve wept\\\"
He tells me \\\"oh young one, it is God\\\'s decision\\\"
\\\"That you must be left here and live life an orphan\\\" (2xs)
I tell him \\\"I can\\\'t bear, you leave me with my tears\\\"
\\\"And leave my heart broken, and leave my heart broken\\\"
4
I ask him \\\"by Zahra why would leave me?\\\"
\\\"Since my birth everyday you have been near me\\\"
He tells me \\\"Oh star my death approaches me\\\"
\\\"You remind me of my mother, it hurts me\\\"
But I tell him \\\"I don\\\'t care if death takes me\\\"
\\\"Let me die beside you father please let me\\\"
\\\"With you and your body please let me be buried\\\"
\\\"Together we will die this will make me happy\\\" (2xs)
My loneliness I fear, you leave me with my tears
And leave my heart broken, and leave my heart broken
5
You took with you my brothers, sisters and all
I wish the skies both day and night on me fall
Your mother cried out between the door and wall
My father I cry out to the same call
I cry when Shimr over your neck stands tall
I shed tears when Zainab cries in Yazeed\\\'s hall
I cry when the arrows make my father\\\'s blood flow
They take Hussain away, leave me with his shadow (2xs)

Chorus
Slaughtered and martyred in Karbala, Oh beloved son of Fatima (2xs)
In the city of Madina, in the city of Madina, that\\\'s the news they heard
And cried out in grief - Ya Hussain!
1
Salaam on you oh Hussain the Commander of the Faithful
The agony you went through shook all those in the heavens
And made them cry out your name - Ya Hussain!
Blessings of Allah be on you and those slain on that fateful day
2
Oh small child Ruqayya, what must she have felt as those hypocrites
Killed her two pure brothers: Ali Akbar and baby Asghar
As he lay cradled by - Ya Hussain!
They cut her Father\\\'s sacred throat and displayed it on their spears
3
As he made his way back to the camp from the Euphrates
They cut and severed his hands, that the water fell to the ground
And they watched him shout - Ya Hussain!
Shabbir\\\'s pain at that point was beyond all expression
4
Asking his uncle\\\'s permission to fight on Ashura
Executing his father\\\'s wish expressed, in his letter
Death sweeter than honey - Ya Hussain!
Such courage shown by one so young, fighting with the spirit of Hassan
5
Salaam on you al-Mahdi, hidden son of Fatima
We wait for you to restore the religion of Allah
And you will surely avenge - Ya Hussain!
There will never be such a sacrifice like the one given in Karbala

The following is the full text of the speech delivered on August 9, 2013 by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a meeting with government officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran and ambassadors of Islamic countries. The meeting was held on the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr.
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I would like to congratulate the great Islamic Ummah throughout the world and the great and courageous people of Iran - who proved their worth and competence, in different arenas, in benefiting from divine guidance and blessings - on the occasion of the auspicious Eid ul-Fitr. I would like to extend my congratulations to you dear audience, the glorious officials of the country and our guests, the honorable ambassadors of Islamic countries, on the occasion of this auspicious Eid. Also, it is necessary to congratulate the people of Iran who spent the entire month of Ramadan - which is auspicious in the real sense of the word - fasting.
By engaging in wajib and mustahab deeds, once again the people of Iran made themselves worthy of divine mercy. The people fasted on such long and hot days. At night, they engaged in dhikr, prayer and worship of God. Many Quranic meetings were held throughout the country in which all the people, particularly youth and teenagers, showed their love for the Holy Quran. During the Nights of Qadr, glorious and meaningful meetings were held and all the people from different social backgrounds, with different occupations, with different opinions and with different appearances were attracted towards centers of dhikr, prayer and supplication. These things are very valuable. We should appreciate the value of this spirit of faith which, thankfully, exists in our country and which is manifested more visibly during many occasions, particularly during the auspicious month of Ramadan, the Nights of Qadr and other such valuable occasions.
Because of the greatness of such days and the value of divine dhikr and remembrance, I deem it necessary to advise the honorable officials of the country and these fresh group of people - who have taken on different responsibilities in the country and who, by Allah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s favor, will move forward on this path with steadfastness and firm determination - to benefit, on this difficult path, from the weapon of dhikr, supplication, attention to God and reliance on Him. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"O He who does not refuse the requests of his servants although they have many expectations.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" [Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya, Dua 46] This is a dua which has been narrated in the auspicious Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya for the day of Eid ul-Fitr. Allah the Exalted even bestows his Mercy on those who speak impolitely when they address Him. God\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s infinite mercy is available to those who want and ask for it. What is important is to want and ask for divine guidance and mercy. If we do this, it will be achieved.
All the officials of the country, particularly the high-ranking officials of the country, should pay attention to Allah the Exalted and get close to Him. The responsibility of safeguarding the people\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s rights and other heavy and important responsibilities fall on their shoulders. With divine assistance, these responsibilities can be carried out in a perfect way. If we can open up the path of divine assistance for ourselves, there will be no problem which is insolvable. The officials of the country should pin their hopes on Allah the Exalted and bring all their efforts to the arena. It is not possible to be lazy and idle and, at the same time, be hopeful about divine mercy. Divine guidance, divine assistance and divine blessings will be bestowed on us when we bring all our power - which God has bestowed on us - to the arena. We should benefit from our thoughts and wisdom, our physical capabilities, the great human resources of the country and we should use all resources. If we do this, then Allah the Exalted will definitely bestow His blessings on us.
There were many people who, at certain times, became hopeless about the future of the country. In these thirty-something years, we have many experiences in this regard. There were people who were short-sighted, who were not optimistic about divine promises and who suffered from a lack of belief in divine assistance. At certain times, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"They encountered suffering and adversity, and were so shaken in spirit that even the Messenger and those of faith who were with him cried: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"When (will come) the help of Allah?\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" [The Holy Quran, 2: 214] Such things have happened throughout history. At such times, Allah the Exalted has immediately helped us. Today, you can see that, compared to previous eras, our people and our country have reached many peaks. Progress has become an inseparable part of the movement of the Iranian nation. Thankfully, our nation has made progress on a daily basis. It will continue to make progress. What is important is to strengthen our relationship with Allah the Exalted.
Today, the world of Islam is faced with great problems. Unfortunately, we are located in a region in which there are certain problems in countries around us. Many of these problems have been injected and imposed by foreigners. If it was not for the intervention of foreigners, if it was not for the hostile policies of global powers, the events that are taking place in West Asia and North Africa today would definitely not be as complex as they are in the present time. Today, the cure for these problems lies in the fact that nations should make a decision on their own. Others should not intervene. Foreigners should not intervene. This is the only cure for the events that occur in the region today. The same cure can be used for Egypt, Libya and Syria. If foreigners do not intervene and if they do not inject discord, nations can find the way out of such conditions with the wisdom of their own outstanding personalities and with the guidance of their own leaders and wise personalities.
The people of Iran have managed to tread this path with divine blessings and power and with the spirit of faith, unity and solidarity which is available to them in the shade of religion. By Allah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s favor, it will be the same in the future.
The plot which they hatched in other countries has no effect in our country. They have pitted people and Muslim brothers against one another either with sectarian and tribal conflicts or with partisan conflicts. None of these dangerous and poisonous weapons is useful in Islamic Iran. In Iran, different religions and different tribes have joined hands and different groups and orientations move forward with unity on the most important issues.
And I advise the officials of the country, political and religious personalities and those who are influential among the people to lay emphasis, as much as they can, on the valuable unity and solidarity of the Iranian nation. Faith in God and solidarity, and religion and unity are the two things which can help nations stand on their own feet and put up a resistance. Thankfully, the Iranian nation benefits from these things. I really hope that officials in charge of political and cultural affairs in other countries pay careful attention to this point and solve the problems which have occurred in regional countries with wisdom.
Let us pray that Allah the Exalted makes the Islamic Ummah glorious and steadfast. Dear God, by the blessedness of Muhammad (s.w.a.) and his household (a.s.), keep bestowing Your blessings and mercy on the Islamic Ummah throughout the world. Dear God, cut off the hands of foreigners from the lives of people in Islamic countries.
Greetings be upon you and Allah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s mercy and blessings

Searching within Our Inner Being
In a tradition, we have been told to purify our internal being before the reappearance. Because, at the time of the reappearance there will be some tests, which many don’t expect, and they therefore fall to the ground. Before the reappearance, everyone should purify his or her internal being as much as they can from some flaws, which even wine drinkers may not have. They might become corrected when the Imam (‘a.j.) comes. But me, a believer and Muslim, I go to the mosque and am very sacred, but I stand up to the Imam.
Basically, a human being’s life from the beginning to end is spent to uncover the hidden parts of his existence. Our life on the path to perfection is nothing but finding the hidden parts of our existence. Religiosity is nothing but finding the hidden parts of a person! The only philosophy behind the divine tests is uncovering the hidden parts of a human being.
God said, “I created you to test you.” This means that He created us for us to look inside ourselves and see what is going on there. A tradition explains that the Imam’s (‘a) followers look inside themselves very much. The Imam (‘a) said, “A person who doesn’t evaluate himself every day, is not from us.” They evaluate themselves every day.
The ‘Friends of God’ weep and cry in the middle of the night! The Commander of the Faithful, Ali (‘a), was born inside the Ka’ba! He was worried until the end of his life that there may be some hidden bad points within himself to cause him to die as an unbeliever! He was worried! When struck, he said, “I’ve become prosperous.” Now he felt comfortable that he would die as a Muslim. The Commander of the Faithful (‘a)!
What is going on inside a person that he must evaluate himself so much? The Commander of the Faithful (‘a) wasn’t joking. During the Sha’baniyah sermon, when the Prophet (s) saw him, he cried. The Imam (‘a) asked, “O Prophet of God, why did you cry when you saw me?” The Prophet (‘a) replied, “I saw that your beard will become colored with your blood in the month of Ramadan.” The Imam (‘a) asked, “Am I a believer at that time?!” O Allah! Where are you Imam?! He is busy with himself to make sure there aren’t any bad points hidden in the corner of his heart.
Find your hidden self. Each one of us should spend some time. Make your faith firm deep inside your heart before the reappearance. Whoever has some hypocrisy in his heart, will fall down due to the tests before the reappearance. And, they will fall to the ground.

Description:
Searching within Our Inner Being
In a tradition, we have been told to purify our internal being before the reappearance. Because, at the time of the reappearance there will be some tests, which many don’t expect, and they therefore fall to the ground. Before the reappearance, everyone should purify his or her internal being as much as they can from some flaws, which even wine drinkers may not have. They might become corrected when the Imam (‘a.j.) comes. But me, a believer and Muslim, I go to the mosque and am very sacred, but I stand up to the Imam.

یه عمر روضه، یه عمر حسرت

How should we feel when praying on the Nights of Destiny | Agha Ali Raza Panahiyan Farsi Sub English

It’s not good to talk negatively, especially to God when supplicating Him, and specifically on the Nights of Destiny. But sometimes one sees in the supplications that the Imams themselves talked somewhat negatively. It seems talking like this sometimes has a good effect in the world.
This year the religious meetings aren’t the same as before and the believers don’t easily get together. I’m sorry, but let me talk a little negatively. In previous years, when we used to get together and there were good meetings, what did we do? Did our Imam (aj) return?! Some are worried about Muharram. Some are worried about Arbaeen [due to COVID-19]. But during Ashura in previous years we weren’t able to meet Mahdi (aj), the son of Fatimah, either! We weren’t able to benefit enough from these nights. I’m not saying they were ineffective. But you know that the Nights of Destiny are enough for us to bring our Imam back [by praying].
Our situation wasn’t good and now it has become worse. I don’t know how broken hearted you are when you talk with God. What if God is upset at the way we pray and supplicate Him? What if He didn’t like our previous years, since we participate in religious gatherings due to them being fun and entertaining? What will our children think about us? Will they say, “My parents participated in a religious gathering, cried some and came home. It was interesting”? Or will they say, “During these three nights, I don’t know why my parents were so distressed. Why were they pleading so much?” [We should behave such that] our children say, “During these three nights my parents were extremely sad.”

My heart has cried a lifetime;
one day Baqi’ will be free.
The day will come when four domes;

Haj Mahdi Rasouli describes the loneliness of the holy graves in Jannatul Baqi and the dream to rebuild them one day in this moving Latmiya.
Our condolences to the believers across the world upon the desecration, desolation and destruction of one of Islam\\\'s oldest heritage site of Jannatul Baqi by the evil Saudi regime. Jannatul Baqi is the resting place of 4 infallible and immaculate Imams of Ahlulbayt (A).

Our condolences to the believers all across the world upon these days of Muharram and the commemoration of the mission and martyrdom of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Husayn (A).
And our condolences upon the martyrdom anniversary of the 4th divinely appointed Imam, Imam Ali ibn Husayn al-Sajjad (A).
Yet, what was just one of the many missions of Imam Sajjad (A)?
And how long did her eminence, lady Zaynab binte Ali (A) live after the event of Karbala?
And why did lady Zaynab binte Ali (A) life for such a short time after the tragedy of Karbala?
In such a stifling environment created by the Umayyad dynasty, how did Imam Sajjad (A) keep the martyrdom and mission of Imam Husayn (A) alive?
Finally, what are some of the instances in which Imam Sajjad (A) cried over and wept over Imam Husayn (A)?
The honorable Ustad Masoud Aali explains and details \"The Mission of Imam Sajjad (A)\".
We Are The Nation of Martyrdom.
We Are The Nation of Imam Husayn.
