One of the most famous sermons delivered in the history of Islam in which the grand daughter of the Holy Prophet (s) is brought to face the tyrant Caliph of the time, Yazid, as a captive and prisoner of war. Following the massacre of Imam Hussain (a), his family and companions at Karbala, Yazid went on to parade the family of the Holy Prophet (s) through the various Islamic cities culminating at the center of his power, Damascus. In these extremely hostile conditions, Lady Zaynab delivered a most eloquent sermon with the courage and poise of her father and grandfather in which she spoke to Yazeed with unwavering truth of his vile nature and the efforts of his ancestors that always aimed to extinguish the light of Islam since its dawn. She then magnificiently concludes - after having seen her own family massacred and mutilated - by establishing the blessed end that awaits the patient and virtuous ones.

The coward soldier runs away from the palestinian child stones, thouh he holds in hands the best US weapons :)
Pappe, an Israeli historian and a senior lecturer at Haifa University, has written a superb account of the Israeli expulsion of the Palestinians from their land in 1948. He says that between 30 March and 15 May 1948, i.e. before any Arab government intervened, Israeli forces seized 200 villages and expelled 250,000 Palestinians. The Israeli leadership stated, "The principal objective of the operation is the destruction of Arab villages ... the eviction of the villagers." On 9 April, Israeli forces massacred 93 people, including 30 babies, at Deir Yassin. In Haifa, the Israeli commander ordered, "Kill any Arab you encounter."
Overall, the Zionist forces uprooted more than half Palestine's population, 800,000 people, destroyed 531 villages and emptied eleven urban neighbourhoods of their inhabitants. Pappe concludes that this was "a clear-cut case of an ethnic cleansing operation, regarded under international law today as a crime against humanity."
Casualties (figures in parenthesis indicate the total figure since the beginning of the intifada)
According to B'Tselem's research, from January to December 27, 2006, Israeli security forces killed 660 (4005) Palestinians in the Occupied Territories VS. 16 israeli civilians...
WHO IS THE TERRORIST??? Who killed 16 civilians or who killed 660 civilians??

Few words are as politically or emotionally charged as TERRORISM. A 1988 study by the US Army counted 109 definitions of terrorism that covered a total of 22 different definitional elements. Terrorism expert Walter Laqueur in 1999 also has counted over 100 definitions and concludes that the only general characteristic generally agreed upon is that terrorism involves violence and the threat of violence. For this and for political reasons - many news sources avoid using this term - opting instead for less accusatory words like BOMBERS MILITANTS etc.

Ahmadinejad: IAEA under pressure
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is under Western pressure when it comes to reporting on Iran's nuclear program.
"Western powers have dominated the agency. So when they prepare a new report they pick on two issues," Ahmadinejad told reporters on Friday. "They are not even sure to which legal article they can adhere to when they seek to speak against us."
"They speak in general terms, and do not provide any evidence to show that we have committed any violations," he added.
The president criticized the agency's latest report, in which Director General Yukiya Amano concludes that the IAEA verifies the non-diversion of "declared" nuclear material in Iran, but has adopted unusual wording with regard to the country's safeguards obligations.
"We say we have shown you everything that we have...and when we ask them to show proof of the existence of this undeclared material, they ask us in turn to offer evidence that they are non-existent."
Iranian officials reject Western accusations that Tehran is pursuing a military nuclear program, arguing that as a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Iran has the right to peaceful nuclear energy.

In this edition of the show Susan interviews Terry Anderson, author of Bush's Wars.
Shortly after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, President George W. Bush told advisor Karl Rove, "I am here for a reason, and this is how we're going to be judged." Anderson provides this judgment in this sweeping, authoritative account of Bush's War on Terror and his twin interventions.
He begins with historical surveys of Iraq and Afghanistan known respectively as "the improbable country" and "the graveyard of empires," and he examines U.S. policies toward those and other nations in the Middle East from the 1970s.
Then Anderson focuses on the Bush Administration, carrying us through such events as the terrorist's attacks of 9/11, the invasion of Afghanistan and the siege of Tora Bora, the "Axis of Evil" speech, the invasion of Iraq and capture of Baghdad, and the eruption of insurgency in Iraq.
Anderson describes the counter-insurgency strategy embodied by the "surge" in Iraq, and the simultaneous revival of the Taliban. He concludes with an assessment of the prosecution of the wars in the first years of Barack Obama's presidency.

[21 June 2012] Should world be worried about emerging total war ideology" against Islam - Islam And Life - English
It is revealed by American magazine Wired in May 2012, that the American Army teaches its officers to "Use 'Hiroshima' tactics for a 'total war' on Islam". The course teaches officers there is no such thing as moderate Islam and that they should consider Islam their enemy. It advocated taking war to civilian populations using similar tactics as used in Dresden, Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well possible nuclear attacks on the holy cities of Mecca and Medina and the wiping out civilian populations. The teaching material also suggests that there is no such thing as the moderate Islam and concludes "It is therefore time for the United States to make our true intentions clear. This barbaric ideology will no longer be tolerated. Islam must change or we will facilitate its self-destruction."
The Pentagon has confirmed the course material obtained by the magazine is authentic. The report says the officer who delivered the lectures, still maintains his position at the Norfolk, Virginia College, pending an investigation. It is not clear that how much of the similar material has been taught in the US Army. What is alarming according to BBC is that all those commanders, captains and colonels must have sat through the course and not felt anything unusual. It brings into question the validity of claims that killing at least 16 Afghan civilians by a US soldier was an isolated incident. This week's Islam and Life asks: Should the world be worried about the emerging "total war ideology" against Islam

Freedom of speech became under attack in the United States Wednesday when New York cops arrested the American writer and human rights activist Mona El-Tahawy because it sprayed the pro-Zionist and offensive poster against Islam pasted in New York subway stations.
“I’m expressing myself freely against hate and racism,” she told an anti-Islam activist while trying to prevent her from spraying the offensive poster.
Anti-Islam posters campaign was launched Tuesday in New York metro, describing Muslims as \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"savages\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" and Zionists as “civilized.”
New York Times posted Wednesday a video showing the arrest of Tahawy, 45. She is active in women’s rights and a commentator in the US New York Times and Washington Post dailies, alongside the Zionist Jerusalem Post newspaper.
Anti-Islam poster in New York subway stations“In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man,” the offensive poster read.
It concludes with the words, “Support Israel. Defeat Jihad,” wedged between two Stars of David.
The city council first rejected the ads would be publicly displayed given reasons that the ad’s language was ‘demeaning’.
But after losing a federal court ruling on First Amendment grounds, the MTA said the ads were expected to appear next week at 10 subway stations.
“Our hands are tied,” said Aaron Donovan, a spokesman for the authority.
Tahawy has repeatedly rejected in public violent practices committed by some groups under the banner of Islam and Muslims.

In this lecture Sheikh Mansour talks about two important issues: the importance of the obligation and the conditions of amr bil ma\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'roof wa nahi anil munkar (enjoining good and forbidding evil). He also elaborates on the importance of fulfilling this obligation, and ties this all in to the comtemporary issue of how we use Social Media, and the most Islamic way to use this platform and not to fall into the trap of shaytan. A really important lecture for anyone seeking to gain closeness to Allah (swt) through fulfilling the obligation of enjoining good and forbidding evil.
Also, since this lecture was delivered in Muharram, he concludes with a majlis for the infant son of Imam Husain (as).

Becoming familiar with some of the sweet concepts of the Sha’baniya Supplication
Session 5
In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful. One of the very beautiful, monotheistic sentences in the beginning of the Sha’baniya Supplication is the phrase, which I mentioned in previous sessions for another reason, “What comes to me or is taken away, benefits or loss, are in Your hands and not the hands of anyone else. My Lord, if You deprive me, who can give me sustenance? If You humiliate and leave me, who can help me?” What comes to me or is taken away, benefits or loss,
are in Your hands and not the hands of anyone else. Then, it concludes, “My Lord, if You deprive me, who can give me sustenance? If You humiliate and leave me, who can help me?”
The first point is that it’s obvious when we are asked, “Who has power and in whose hands are affairs? Is there anyone else with the Almighty God?” we give a clear answer. “Power is in God’s hands. Others besides God cannot do anything.” So why don’t these monotheistic teachings become internalized in our hearts the way they should for them to cause us to cry, moan and talk to God, and have the most intense love in our hearts for the Lord? Loving to talk to the Almighty God and feeling a need for this conversation deeply, are due to these monotheistic teachings that have become internalized in one’s heart. What is the obstacle to these monotheistic teachings becoming internalized in our hearts? The obstacle is that we give too much value to various causes. We don’t see God’s role as being more than a cause, the tools that we have, or even our own power.
It’s usually tribulations that create such a feeling for a person. Tribulations bring a person to a dead end. Then, one suddenly feels that he doesn’t have anyone except God. But, when we are at the peak of prosperity, we don’t have anyone but God either. When everything around us and all events are going smoothly, when we are on the verge of reaching all of our desires, in the same way, we don’t have anyone except God. We are not polytheists in this way that we believe in God while believing in other gods with Him. We are not polytheists in this way that we worship idols and consider both God and idols to be effective in the world. But, an amount of polytheism exists, which prevents us from having monotheism in our hearts. It takes away our feeling for wanting to talk to God. This amount of polytheism is usually in our hearts that we see causes and people to be very effective in our lives.
We should think deeply about how much power God exerts in our lives according to the verse of the Qur’an where God tells the Prophet, “…and you did not smite when you smote the (enemy), but it was Allah Who smote them!” [Qur’an 8:17] A high understanding of monotheism will become internalized in a person’s heart. We should ponder on the topic of “determinism and free will.” We should look at how involved God is in our lives in each moment.
We should consider this fact that there are no coincidences in our lives. When we get a taxi in the street or call for a taxi, which taxi and which taxi driver comes, which radio station he is listening to in the taxi, and what we are hearing, none of these are coincidences. And, God can change the minds of people around us about what they say to us. He always does this. Because, all the scenes around us should be designed in a way that are in accordance with God’s tests. Therefore, everything is in God’s hands. It’s really in His hands.
It’s fine if we do our duty with regard to the causes. It’s our duty to repel a harm that comes towards us and to go towards a benefit, which comes to us, and take that benefit, but of course using lawful ways. Otherwise, we have turned God against ourselves. It’s not that we shouldn’t care about causes at all, but we should see God to be more powerful than these causes. If this state is created within us, the feeling of wanting to talk to God will intensify.
We often talk to and supplicate God politely, which is excellent. Sometimes we talk to and supplicate God with affection. Of course, this is excellent too. But, these don’t contradict a person understanding his exigency. The Household of the Prophet talked to God politely, affectionately, and also with an intense urgency. Where does this urgency arise from? It comes from the monotheism in their hearts, not in tribulations, but in regular situations. They truly look intensely at God in regular situations.
The next point, which can be connected to this topic and strengthen it, is in the second phrase that I read for you. He says, “My Lord, if You deprive me, who can give me sustenance? If You humiliate and leave me, who can help me?” Believing that we always need God’s help is a very valuable belief. One of the greatest tribulations that God threatens bad people with in the Qur’an, is where He says, “I won’t help you!” What does this mean?

Pioneers Of Hypocrisy - التفسير الأقوم - English
Allah’s Curse for the Hypocrites
Surah At-Tawbah – Verse 67
الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتُ بَعْضُهُم مِن بَعْضٍ يَأْمُرُونَ...
Allah’s Curse for the Hypocrites
Surah At-Tawbah – Verse 67
67. “The hypocrite men and the hypocrite women are as one another; they enjoin evil and forbid good, and they keep their hands shut. They have forsaken Allah, so He has forsaken them, (too). The hypocrites are indeed the transgressors.”
The Signs of the Hypocrites
In this verse, the Qur’ān points to a general matter. It implies that the spirit of hypocrisy may appear in different shapes, and the form of ostentation in particular. The spirit of hypocrisy may be different in a man and in a woman, but the variety of the features of hypocrisy among hypocrites should not deceive us.
Therefore, the verse says:
“The hypocrite men and the hypocrite women are as one another…”
After mentioning that meaning, the verse refers to five epithets out of the hypocrite’s qualities as follows:
The first and the second epithets of the hypocrites are that they usually encourage people to evil and restrain them from good.
That is, contrast to the program of the true believers who ceaselessly, through enjoining good and forbidding evil, try to improve the society and to purify it from pollution and corruption, the hypocrites always try to expand corruption everywhere and to dismiss goodness from the society. The verse says:
“…they enjoin evil and forbid good…”
Their third epithet is that they neither spend in the way of Allah, nor do they help the deprive, nor do they financially assist their relatives and those who are familiar with them. The verse says:
“…and they keep their hands shut…”
The fourth quality of the hypocrites is that all their deeds, statements, and behaviours denote that they have forgotten the Lord, and also the situation of their lives indicates that the Lord has deprived them from some of His bounties, successes, and merits, too. The signs of these two abandonments are vividly reflected in their lives. The verse continues saying:
“…They have forsaken Allah, so He has forsaken them, (too)…”
The fifth quality of theirs is that they are impious and they live outside the circle of the obedience of Allah, i.e. not only they are mischievous, but also they are disobedient. The verse concludes as follows:
“…The hypocrites are indeed the transgressors.”
Whatever was said in this verse about the qualifications of the hypocrites is seen in such people in any age.
Surah At-Tawbah – Verse 68
68. “Allah has promised the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women and the infidels, the Fire of Hell, to abide in it forever. That is enough for them, Allah has cursed them, and for them is a lasting chastisement.”
The promise of Hell, stated in the abovementioned holy verse, is decreed at first for the hypocrites and secondly for the disbelievers.
Whatever more apparently fitting the hypocrites settle themselves in the row of the believers in this world, it is of no vail and they will be in the row of disbelievers in Hereafter.
The verse says:
“Allah has promised the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women and the infidels, the Fire of Hell, to abide in it forever…”
And since Hell is the collection of any pain, affliction and tribution, then it is enough for the hypocrites and infidels both. The verse continues saying:
“…That is enough for them, Allah has cursed them, and for them is a lasting chastisement.”
Surah At-Tawbah – Verse 69
69. “(O’ hypocrites! You are) like those who were before you, they were stronger than you I power and more abundant in wealth and children; so they enjoyed their portion; thus do you enjoy your portion as those before you did enjoy their portion; and you indulge in vain discourses as they indulged. These are those whose works are null in this world and the Hereafter, and those are the losers.”
An Admonition and a Warning
In order to awaken this group of the hypocrites, the abovementioned holy verse puts the mirror of the history before them and, comparing them with the former stubborn hypocrites, it teaches them the most instructive lessons.

What phrase do we recite in Ayatul Kursi which must shape our belief system?
And are the Taghut referred to in the holy Qur\'an limited to the past?
What position does the holy Qur\'an tell us to take when it comes to the enemies of Islam and the enemies of humanity?
And what are some of the blatant hypocritical stances of America when it comes to the israeli genocide of the Palestinians?
What are some statements from Ziyarat Ashura that should make up a part of our belief system when it comes to the friends of Islam and the enemies of Islam?
And finally, Sayyid Hashim al-Haidari concludes by asking a question, \"Is America The Great Satan Or Not?\"
