Ahmadinejad in Iranian Club in DUBAI, United Arab Emirates.
Iran's president led an anti-American rally in DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, this tightly controlled U.S. ally in the Persian Gulf, a day after a low-key visit by Vice President Dick Cheney aimed at countering Tehran's influence in the region.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad tells the cheering crowd that America was to blame for creating instability and robbing the region of its wealth.
"We are telling you to leave the region. This is for your benefit and the benefit of your nation," Ahmadinejad says to the crowd of thousands at a soccer stadium. "The nations of the region can no longer take you forcing yourself on them. The nations of the region know better how to create peace and security."
"Every time your name is mentioned, hatred builds up," Ahmadinejad said of the United States. "Go fix yourself. This is Iran's advice to you. Leave the region."
One woman in the crowd shouted "I love you!" and Ahmadinejad paused to respond with a polite "thank you."
"God bless you for loving Iran so dearly," he told the crowd. "I love you."
The crowd, many of them expatriate Iranians, cheered Ahmadinejad and waved Iranian flags. One group carried a black banner bearing a yellow symbol seen on nuclear fallout shelters. Chants of "Down with the USA!" and "Nuclear energy is our right!" frequently interrupted the speech.
His rally was remarkable in a country where political parties are banned and power is held solely by tribal families

A tribute to Sayyeda Zainab (s.a) - Persian

Peace be upon you. Oh daughter of the Commander of the faithful a.s. Peace be upon you Oh daughter of Fatima a.s. Two Worlds Radiant Lady s.a. Peace be upon you. We speak of Hazrat Zainab s.a. She well conveyed the message of Karbala s uprising and tragedy to the world and today it is a great honor for Muslims to follow this great lady as an example in their lives. Truly when an individual spends his or her life in support of truth and establishment of divine values - his or her name will remain eternal in history and his or her lifestyle will inspire the future generations. That is why the name of Zainab s.a. and her lifestyle has influenced many people - even non Muslims. Ms. Carin from Germany - after embracing Islam - chose Zainab s.a. as her first name. Regarding her incentive in choosing this name she says - I was always interested in the life story of the holy Prophet of Islam s.a.w.a.w and his household. I was specially affected by the story of uprising of Imam Hussein a.s. in Karbala and the personality of Hazrat Zainab s.a. in the events of Karbala. The self-sacrifices of that great lady while bearing the heavy grief of martyrdom of her brother and other companions are praiseworthy. Hazrat Zainab s.a. was a lady of knowledge virtue bravery and patience. These characteristics helped her carry out her mission in Karbala uprising in the company of Imam Hussein a.s. Hazrat Zainab s lifestyle contains instructive points for me and whenever I come across a problem I immediately remember Her. For her name brings me tranquility. That is why I adopted the name of Zainab after embracing Islam. Hazrat Zainab s.a. was brought up under instructions of a father like Imam Ali a.s. and a mother like Fatema s.a. and she benefited greatly from these two personalities. Historians say Hazrat Zainab inherited bravery honesty and fluency in speech from her father Imam Ali a.s. and kindness and loyalty from her mother Hazrat Fatema s.a. She made great efforts in giving religious training to the women of her time and thus many women at that time benefited from Hazrat Zainab s knowledge and teachings. Hazrat Zainab s.a. spent her fruitful life in promoting monotheism and assuming divine responsibilities and her heroic participation in the greatest epic of history - namely the uprising of Imam Hussein a.s. in Karbala brought her a lasting name. You wont find a single person who is familiar with Karbala tragedy and has not heard of Hazrat Zainab s.a. Zainab s.a. conveyed the message of Imam Hussein s uprising to territories beyond Karbala desert. She encouraged the warriors and sympathized with the injured. She was so bound to the fulfillment of her religious obligations that even at those critical conditions she did not forget to say her prayers at night. Imam Sajjad a.s. says - I saw my aunt Hazrat Zainab s.a. saying her prayers while sitting. A major part of Hazrat Zainab s mission started when Karbala tragedy apparently ended with the martyrdom of Imam Hussein a.s. This chapter of Hazrat Zainab s life began with conveying the message of Ashura in which she heroically defended the rights of the household - ahlul bait - and did not permit the enemies to take advantage of Karbala tragedy. In this tragedy the Omayyud ruler Yazid l.a. and his followers l.a. thought that they had succeeded in creating a negative image of the holy Prophet s household but when the caravan of the household members now in captivity arrived in Kufa - Hazrat Zainab s.a. behaved in such a way that she managed to turn the so-called victory of the Omayyud into a defeat. In her famous address She changed the mentality of the people of Kufa and Damascus. She symbolized a shining sun who reflected light into everything. Although Hazrat Zainab s.a. did not live long after Karbala tragedy she sowed the seeds of awareness in the entire Islamic society. This great lady passed away in 62 AH after she made lots of efforts in the path of truth. Once again we offer our condolences and bring you an excerpt from her historic statement addressed to Yazid. She says - O Yazid practice any trick you can and do anything that you think would vanish Islam. But you should know that you can not eradicate our message our path and our remembrance. You should know that our remembrance will never die. MAY OUR LIVES BE SACRIFICED FOR HAZRAT ZAINAB s.a.

GAZA (Reuters) - A Reuters cameraman was killed in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday in what appeared to have been an Israeli military strike.
Fadel Shana, a 23-year-old Palestinian, was covering violence in the enclave for the international news agency. Two bystanders were also killed in an explosion after Shana stepped from his vehicle. His soundman escaped serious injury.
Film from Shana's camera showed an Israeli tank stationed several hundred meters (yards) away firing a shell. The film then went blank, apparently at the moment Shana was hit.
Earlier, local residents had said the explosion appeared to have been caused by an air strike.
The Reuters vehicle, an unarmored sport utility vehicle bearing "TV" and "Press" markings, had just stopped and Shana got out to film, local residents said.

One example of such fabrications is the story of a messenger who has brought a letter for Abu \\\\\\\'Abd Allah (\\\\\\\'a) and he awaits a reply. The Imam tells him to come after three days and collect the reply. After three days on inquiring he is told that the Imam was departing the same day. He says to himself, \\\\\\\"Now that he is setting out, let us go and watch the majesty and glamour of the prince of the Hijaz He goes and there he sees the Imam, together with other Hashimis among men, seated on splendid chairs. Then the camels are brought bearing the litters draped in silk and brocade. Then the ladies emerge and with much honor and ceremony they are escorted into these litters. This description continues in this vein until they make the digression to switch to the scene of the eleventh day of Muharram, to compare the glamour and honor of this day with the sorry state of the womenfolk on the latter day. Haji Nuri calls such descriptions into question. He says, \\\\\\\"It is history which says that when Imam Husayn left Madinah he recited this Qur\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'anic verse:
He left it in the state of fear and concern. (28:21)
That is, he likened his own departure to that of Moses, son of \\\\\\\'Imran, when he fled for the fear of the Pharaoh.
He said, \\\\\\\"It might be that my Lord will guide me to the right path.\\\\\\\"(28:22)
The Imam had departed with a most simple caravan. Does the greatness of Imam Husayn lie in his sitting, for instance, on golden chairs? Or does the greatness of his family and womenfolk lie in their using litters draped in silk and brocade, or their possessing fine horses and camels and a retinue of lackeys and servants?!

A worse fabrication is the one mentioned by Hajji Nuri. As you know, in the heat of the battle on the day of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Ashura\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\', the Imam offered his prayers hurriedly in the form of salat al-khawf. The Shari\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ah stipulates certain modifications in the obligatory salat, the daily ritual prayers, when offered in conditions of war and danger of the enemy\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s attack. The salat thus offered is referred to as salat al-khawf; (see the Quran, 4:101). And there was no respite even to offer full prayers. In fact, two of the companions of the Imam came to stand in front of him to shield the Imam (against the arrows) so that he may offer two rak\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ahs of the salat al-khawf. The two of them fell from the injuries inflicted under the shower of the arrows. The enemy would not even give respite for offering prayers. Nevertheless, they have concocted a story that the Imam called for a wedding ceremony on this day, declaring, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'It is my wish to see one of my daughter wedded to Qasim.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' Obviously, one cannot take one\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s wishes to one\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s grave.
By God, see what kind of things they have attributed to a man like Husayn ibn \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Ali, things the like of which we sometimes hear from persons of a very mediocre character, who express a wish to see the wedding of their son or daughter in their life. And this is said to have occurred at a time when there was hardly any respite even for offering prayers. They say that the Hadrat said, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'I want to wed my daughter to my nephew here and now, even if it is just an appearance of a wedding.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' One of the things that was an inseparable part of our traditional ta\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ziyahs was the wedding of Qasim, the boy bridegroom. Such an episode is not mentioned in any reliable book of history. According to Hajji Nuri, Mulla Husayn Kashifi was the first man to write this story in a book named Rawdat al-shuhada\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' and it is totally fictitious. The case here is similar to the one about which the poet says:
Many are the appendages that they have clapped upon it,
You will hardly recognize it when you see it again.
Were the Sayyid al-Shuhada\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' to come and observe these things (and, of course, he does from the world of the spirit, but were he come into the world of appearance ) he will find that we have carved out for him companions that he never had. For instance, in the book Muhriq al-qulub - whose author was, incidentally, an eminent scholar and jurist, but who had no knowledge of these matters - that one of the companions to appear out of nowhere on the day of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Ashura\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' was Hashim Mirqal, who came bearing an eighteen cubits long spear in his hand. (After all someone had claimed that Sinan ibn Anas - who according to some reports severed the head of Imam Husayn - had a spear sixty cubits long. He was told that a spear could not be sixty cubits. He replied that God had sent it for him from the heaven!) Muhriq al-qulub writes that Hashim ibn \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Utbah Mirqal appeared with a spear sixteen cubits long, whereas this Hashim ibn \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Utbah was a companion of Amir al-Mu\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'minin \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Ali and had been killed twenty years earlier.
We have attributed several companions to Husayn ibn \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'Ali that he did not have, such as the Za\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'far the Jinn. Similarly, there are some names among the enemies that did not exist.

Muslims in the UK have held a conference to discuss terrorist attacks against Shia Muslims in Pakistan. The latest bombing in a bus left dozens dead.
On Sunday morning a bomb hit a bus of Shia pilgrims in Quetta, Pakistan.
Dozens were killed. It was a timely - if unwanted - reminder for the organisers of this conference in London. Held to highlight the plight of Shia\\\'s in Pakistan - an injustice being overwhelming ignored.
it\\\'s hard to put a name or a face to the atrocities taking place in Pakistan. But here just a few of the 20,000 Shias killed are remembered. Young and old. Each with a story. In the end each killed brutally only because of their religion.
The latest spate of sectarian violence in Pakistan is not the first - and almost certainly not the last. Sectarianism has always had roots in political motivation...
By the 1970\\\'s the Islamic Revolution in Iran and the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan upped the ante. Afraid of the influence of the revolution and mixed with a desire to fight the soviets, tens of thousands of extremists were created and supported by the US and Saudi Arabia. Pakistan is one of the crossroads bearing the brunt
It\\\'s hard to navigate through the minefield of politics. America fights the same extremists it funded against the soviets... And their victims are highlighted by the media and politicians in some cases, but not in the case of Pakistani Shia\\\'s.
It is grave injustice, a part of a wider problem. That\\\'s why organisers here hope that shedding a light on the reality on the ground, and its causes, will be a first to a proper solution.

Europe is shuddering under the threat of its worst storm in years. Hurricane-force winds lash mainland Europe, leaving five people dead or missing.
Travel and transport are disrupted, with thousands forced to flee their homes. So far, Britain seems to be bearing the brunt, with 15000 homes evacuated. The Thames Barrier, designed to protect London from flooding, will remain shut on Thursday night. Across Britain, more than 100-thousand homes are without power. Prime Minister David Cameron has held two emergency meetings to discuss the situation. Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Sweden are on alert. Hundreds of flights have been cancelled across northern Europe while rail and ferry services are shut down.

Animated comical series discussing the application of Islamic concepts in modern society.
We see around us a society which has made the dunia its ‘qibla’. Both work and education aim to make progress on a worldly level, rather than for what’s worth much, much more.
“And the life of this world is nothing but a sport and a play; and as for the next abode, that most surely is the life” -The Holy Qur’an 29:64
Have we become so busy living the 9-5 lifestyle that we are afraid of breaking out of the box of mundane life? Why are we afraid to step out and explore new realms? Is the life of this world truly worth living in a cage for?
This world with all its murkiness has entangled many of us in its unfruitful production line. The dunia, like the sea only makes us thirstier the more we drink and yet people have become so obsessed with gaining more and more on a material level, they have forgotten to look at the hereafter.
It\\\\\\\'s like the famous children\\\\\\\'s story from Aesop\\\\\\\'s fables: In a field one summer\\\\\\\'s day a Grasshopper was hopping about, chirping and singing to its heart\\\\\\\'s content. An Ant passed by, bearing along with great toil an ear of corn he was taking to the nest.
\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\"Why not come and chat with me,\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\" said the Grasshopper, \\\\\\\"\\\\\\\"instead of toiling and moiling in that way?”
\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\"I am helping to lay up food for the winter,\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\" said the Ant, \\\\\\\"\\\\\\\"and recommend you to do the same.\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\"
\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\"Why bother about winter?\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\" said the Grasshopper; \\\\\\\"\\\\\\\"We have got plenty of food at present.\\\\\\\"\\\\\\\" But the Ant went on its way and continued its toil.
When the winter came the Grasshopper had no food and found itself dying of hunger - while it saw the ants distributing every day corn and grain from the stores they had collected in the summer. Then the Grasshopper knew: It is best to prepare for days of need.
In this episode, we discuss how a Muslim must be just like the ant: working hard and preparing for what comes next, regardless of what the grasshoppers of our society might think.

Description:
Animated comical series discussing the application of Islamic concepts in modern society.
We see around us a society which has made the dunia its ‘qibla’. Both work and education aim to make progress on a worldly level, rather than for what’s worth much, much more.

[Clip] The best gift that spouses can give each other | Agha Alireza Panahian July 22,2019 Farsi Sub English
The best gift that spouses can give each other
Qur’an, Chapter Rum, verse 21, says, “And one of His signs is that He created mates for you from yourselves.” God, why have You done this?...
The best gift that spouses can give each other
Qur’an, Chapter Rum, verse 21, says, “And one of His signs is that He created mates for you from yourselves.” God, why have You done this? Let God explain it Himself. “He created mates for you from yourselves that you may find rest in them.”
What is the main thing at home? What is it? Love? No. Is enjoying the main thing? No. Is benefiting the main thing? No. Is bearing children the main thing? No. Is reputation, credibility or social dignity the main thing? No. What is the main thing? “…that you may find rest in them.” The purpose of having a family is calmness. No matter what happens, calmness should not be destroyed in the family.
First, calmness! If you consider the other good benefits from a family to be the first thing, you have disorganized everything! Everything is ruined. For example, you say, “The first use of a family is affection.” In this verse of the Qur’an that we talked about, there is affection too. But, affection isn’t first. It says, “I will give you affection too. There should be affection between spouses too. But, if you put affection instead of calmness and ruin each other’s calmness because of affection, there won’t be affection or calmness.”
For example, a person puts pleasure instead of calmness and says, “Sensual pleasure is the first thing for me.” Or no, comfort. A person is comfortable at home. What happens if you put comfort instead of calmness? You’ll destroy yourself and your family. “I want to be comfortable.” For you to be comfortable, you are destroying your spouse’s calmness. Then, you won’t be comfortable either!
What restricts our behaviour and our other goals and benefits in life, is calmness. Calmness shouldn’t be disrupted. Everything should be with calmness. Everything should come after calmness. If a woman wants to criticize her husband, or if a man wants to criticize his wife, they should be careful not to ruin calmness.
Think, “I wanted to insult him or her, or I wanted to say something, which was true. [There is no difference if it is a man or a woman.] I want to insult him or her, or say something else. Or even, I want to say something very true and very important! If I say this, calmness will be eliminated.” So, the first thing is calmness.
Let’s turn “calmness” into the main slogan of the family. A woman and a man can truly gift calmness to each other. “He created mates for you from yourselves that you may find rest in them.” What has God determined to be the goal of a family? Calmness. No matter what happens, calmness should not be destroyed in the family.
Calmness shouldn’t be disrupted. Everything should be with calmness. Everything should be after calmness.

Salutations upon Husayn, upon Ali ibn Husayn, upon the children of Husayn, and upon the companions of Husayn.
As the day of Arbaeen passes, we remember ever so fondly, the days and nights that were spent in the land of Karbala on the Arbaeen of Imam Husayn (A).
But a many a time, we tend to forget that this culture of Arbaeen has been passed down to us by bearing great difficulties and overcoming great obstacles.
What did the enemies of Islam call Imam Husayn (A) in his time?
But what will happen to the light of Allah?
And can the light of Allah ever be extinguished?
The Founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Ruhollah Khomeini, answers.
Labbayk Ya Husayn!
Labbayk Ya Mahdi!
