Afghanistan rejects the U-S demand that Kabul sign a security deal between the two countries as soon as possible.
A spokesman for Afghan President Hamid Karzai says the agreement must wait until after next year\'s presidential election, even if it\'s approved by the Loya Jirga and the parliament. This, after the White House said Karzai\'s failure to sign the Bilateral Security Agreement, or B-S-A, by the end of this year would prevent Washington and its allies from planning for post-20-14 presence in Afghanistan. On Thursday, Karzai said he was willing to delay the signing of the B-S-A until after next year\'s presidential election. However, ordinary Afghans are angry over raids by American and other foreign troops. And they\'ve held protests against the security deal with the U-S.

\\\"Yaxın Şərq\\\", \\\"Uzaq Şərq\\\" və \\\"Orta Şərq\\\" kəlimələri doğru deyildir.
Uzaq deyərkən haradan uzaq? Avropadan.
Haraya yaxın? Avropaya.
Bu Avropanın dünyanın mərkəzi olması anlamını verir.
Hər hansı bir yer Avropadan uzaqdırsa, \\\"Uzaq Şərq\\\" deyə adlandırılır.
Hər hansı bir yer Avropaya yaxındırsa \\\"Yaxın Şərq\\\" deyə adlandırılır.
Əgər ikisinin arasında olarsa \\\" Orta Şərq\\\" deyilir.
Bu avropalıların öz baxışlarına görə belə təqdim edilir.
Ancaq bu bizim üçün qəbul edilə bilməz.
Asiya bir qitədir. Bir şərq, bir qərb və orta hissəsi var. Biz həmin hissənin qərb tərəfində yerləşirik. Bu səbəbdən də ölkəmizə \\\"Orta Şərq\\\" deyil, \\\"Qərbi Asiya\\\" deməliyk. Mən bu bölgəyə \\\"Orta Şərq\\\" deyil, \\\"Qərbi Asiya\\\" deyilməsi mövzusunda israr edirəm.

Hüccet\'ül İslam Mesud Ali 🔶 Günahların Etkileri (Haram lokma - Gıybet)
Biz günahların etkileri nelerdir diye bilmiyoruz. İnsanı ne kadar çaresiz bıraktığını gerçekten bilmiyoruz. Eğer günahların etkilerini bilseydik günahlarla başka türlü mücadele ederdik. Bilmiyoruz.

The Story of Stuff will take you on a provocative tour of the consumer-driven culture in the US and the increasing consumerism and materialism in the rest of the world - from resource extraction to iPod incineration - exposing the real costs of our use-it and lose-it approach to stuff. -- ISLAM is against materialism because it results in social injustice and oppression. But also because Islam wants to nurture the inner spirituality and other potential noble qualities in human beings - and materialism - that is the slavery of this world - takes them in exactly the opposite direction. Often non-religious movements choose to resist materialism because of its consequences on society - that is they resist materialism for instrumental - means to ends - reasons. Islam however places importance on simplicity and modesty because they are valuable in themselves for human perfection. Hence even if the world becomes full of resources and everyone has more than what he or she needs Islam would still stress on simplicity and modesty in the lifestyles and pursuits of its followers. With its ideals of human perfection and emphasis on the eternal life in the hereafter Islam provides a powerful rational and emotional stimulus for individuals to abstain from materialism and channel their self-interest into attaining lofty human ideals and qualities. Pappe, an Israeli historian and a senior lecturer at Haifa University, has written a superb account of the Israeli expulsion of the Palestinians from their land in 1948. He says that between 30 March and 15 May 1948, i.e. before any Arab government intervened, Israeli forces seized 200 villages and expelled 250,000 Palestinians. The Israeli leadership stated, "The principal objective of the operation is the destruction of Arab villages ... the eviction of the villagers." On 9 April, Israeli forces massacred 93 people, including 30 babies, at Deir Yassin. In Haifa, the Israeli commander ordered, "Kill any Arab you encounter."
Overall, the Zionist forces uprooted more than half Palestine's population, 800,000 people, destroyed 531 villages and emptied eleven urban neighbourhoods of their inhabitants. Pappe concludes that this was "a clear-cut case of an ethnic cleansing operation, regarded under international law today as a crime against humanity."
Casualties (figures in parenthesis indicate the total figure since the beginning of the intifada)
According to B'Tselem's research, from January to December 27, 2006, Israeli security forces killed 660 (4005) Palestinians in the Occupied Territories VS. 16 israeli civilians...
WHO IS THE TERRORIST??? Who killed 16 civilians or who killed 660 civilians??

The activists and legal observers participating in the demonstrations wanted to deliver a letter to Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey, saying outgoing President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney should be taken accountable for treason, murder, bribery and other high crimes.
"This is not about getting them out of office, that's impeachment. This is about holding them accountable," said David Swanson, the founder of After Downing Street (ADS).
On the way to the department, the crowd, however, was stopped by a low-level press secretary who pledged he would hand the letter over to the attorney general, Press TV correspondent Jahan Hafez reported.
"We really need to have a medium with him (Michael Mukasey) and we need him to agree to look into the crimes of the Bush administration which are many," stressed Linda Letendre of the National Campaign for Nonviolent Resistance (NCNR).
As Justice Department officials passed the protesters, activists read off the names of those lost in the war.
The protesters then lay on the ground to symbolize those who killed in the so-called war on terror.
"If in fact your elected officials are not held the same standard that the regular citizens are, then you don't have the standard, you don't have the rule of law," one of the activists said.
"That's extremely dangerous for everybody," she warned.
"We are directly responsible for those and I would call them murders …Then you have another four million Iraqis who have been displaced from their homes and businesses and their children. There is cholera, there is no water, there is no electricity," another protester lamented, referring to the dire consequences the Iraqi nation has been suffering after the US-led invasion of the country in 2003.
"There is constant fear and it's hard to sit still, knowing that we have done this and that we are allowing it to continue," she added.
The anti-war community says that choosing a new commander-in-chief is not enough and it does not justify thousands of people who have died because of the policies of the Bush administration.
They say the real change comes about when George W. Bush and Dick Cheney are indicated over war crimes and crimes against humanity
