Thailand\'s Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawat says she will dissolve the parliament and hold elections as soon as possible.
Shinawat did not immediately set a date for the polls. The ruling party has confirmed that Yingluck would run in the upcoming elections. Meanwhile, anti-government protesters are still out on the streets. Protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban has reacted to the announcement, saying that the parliament\'s dissolution is not his aim. He\'s also called for the protest campaign to go on. Meanwhile, demonstrators are gathering outside the government house in a \"final showdown\" to topple the prime minister. Violence suddenly ended last week with both sides pausing to celebrate the birthday of the nation\'s king. On Sunday, the main opposition lawmakers resigned from parliament en masse, exacerbating the nation\'s political divide.

A demonstration was also held in the western city of Saada. Yemen has been hit by a wave of shootings and assassination attempts on political and security officials over the past year. Over 90 army officers and security officials have been assassinated by unidentified gunmen in the past seven months. Afghanistan is grappling with serious economic and social woes over a decade after a US led invasion of the country. The government has also been criticized for failing to deal with these problems. The economic plight has forced a large number of Afghan children to work on the streets to try to feed their families.
Kabul has a population of around six million people. Among them are around 600,000 street children who live in tough conditions. Most of them belong to fatherless families. These families depend on their children to try to find a way to survive. Umar is one of those children who have to work. A US night time air raid on their village in Kapisa province left Umar\\\'s father dead. Soon after the family lost its breadwinner, Umar left his village for Kabul. Now he lives with his uncle\\\'s family. But as his uncle is a simple shoe maker, Umer has to work too. For Umar it\\\'s a constant struggle to feed himself and send some money back to his family in Kapisa every month. Afghan president Hamid Karzai expressed his concern about the living conditions of street children in a recent address on the Afghan National Radio. Karzai asked International organizations including UNICEF to pay more attention to the issue. But some experts are pointing the finger at the afghan government and western countries for failing to do much. Today\\\'s children are the men of Afghanistan\\\'s future. But what many afghans are asking is how these poor street children who are not receiving any education will play a positive role in Afghanistan\\\'s future.

American soldiers who have returned home from the US-led wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are facing tough challenges.
The Department of Veterans Affairs says, last year nearly 50,000 of the veterans were either homeless or in a federal program aimed at keeping them off the streets. High rate of unemployment and post traumatic stress disorder among the veterans have raised the rate of suicide among them. A large number of US troopers who were deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan come from the lower class. They were promised a better future by the department of defense. Long costly wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have failed to end militancy in the two countries.

Iran's transportation and fuel center is teaming with the country's traffic police, department of motor vehicles and Iran's Environmental Protection Organization (IEPO) to remove aged vehicles to assist in solving the country's air pollution crisis. According to TIME Magazine Iran has 4 cities named as the top ten most polluted cities in the world. As air pollution continues to be an issue in Iran, government organizations have teamed up to solve this catastrophe for good. The goal is to remove vehicles aged private automobiles, taxis, passenger busses and trucks 20 years and older because they fail vehicle emission testing which is the core foundation for air pollution. PTC (Iran's transportation and fuel center estimates there are 1,200,000 aged vehicles throughout Iran. According to Iran's Environmental Protection Organization over 70% of air pollution in Iran especially in the capital Tehran which populates close to 14,000,000 is a direct cause of these aged vehicles.) In addition there are close to 9 million motorcycles in Iran of which 3 million are over aged. In the past 9 months close to 300,000 automobiles, busses and trucks and 600,000 motorcycles have been taken off the streets. The government is also offering a low interest rate loan for residents to turn in their aged vehicles and purchase brand new automobiles. The government is giving taxi drivers a loan of almost $7,000 while bus and truck drivers can get a loan of $20,000 and $50,000 respectively. Also according to IEPO Iran petroleum factories will only produce fuel based on Euro 4 standards by the end of March 2015. Currently Iran is importing Euro 4 standard fuel till it becomes fully efficient.

Thousands of Libyans took to the streets of the capital Tripoli on Friday to protest GNC\'s mandate extension which expired on Friday. A large portion of Libya\'s population is critical of GNC for its inability to prevent the country from sliding into chaos. There are growing fears that rival armed groups would engage in clashes. GNC was elected in 20-12 after the ouster of former ruler Muammar Gaddafi.

The young buses cheer when Cito and Hana tell them they\'ll be out of town for a day. The buses have always wanted to stay up, playing until late in the night. The night comes, but Cito and Hana are not there to make them go to bed. The buses stay up playing hide-and-seek, watching TV, and practicing driving. Gani goes over the repair shop, dizzy from too much driving practice. He\'s soon joined by Tayo and Rogi as they play hide-and-seek, as well as Lani, who is angry about not being able to watch TV because of those two. The repair shop becomes a mess and Gani\'s life is put in danger. The young buses don\'t know what to do. It\'s a relief when Hana and Cito appear suddenly to fix the problem. The young buses clean up the repair shop with Hana.

Hana sends Tayo on an errand to a construction site. There, Tayo meets heavy machinery and gets excited, making the vehicles bicker about who is cooler. They decide to hold a contest to settle the matter, with Tayo as their judge. However, Tayo gives them weird quizzes and embarrassing assignments to carry out. The last assignment, knocking down barrels with tires, leads to havoc when the atmosphere becomes overheated and the construction walls get knocked down, creating a mess on the nearby roads. The vehicles quickly act together to restore things as they were. Everyone realizes that heavy machinery is coolest when cooperating with each other.

As International diplomacy with Iran over its nuclear program enters the next phase, Iranians talk of their demands from the six world powers for the upcoming talks in Vienna.
Iranians on the streets told us of their concerns and the mistrust that has been built from the actions of the West, especially the US. Just three months ago in Geneva, optimism followed the interim deal between Iran and the so-called 5p+1, Britain, China, France, Russia and the U.S., plus Germany.

Libyans are commemorating the third anniversary of the beginning of the revolution that toppled former dictator Muammar Gaddafi.
In Tripoli, people gathered at the main crossroads of the capital to watch fireworks. Many streets were decked with Libya\'s revolutionary flag, and multicolored lights were strung across the main roads. But for many Libyans there is little to celebrate as the country is plagued by lawlessness. Libya is still struggling to rebuild an army capable of curbing the violence blamed largely on the well-armed militiamen who fought Gaddafi. And the government and the interim parliament are accused of corruption and failing to provide Libyans a better life.

There is a sad sentiment across Baghdad as several deadly car bombs claimed dozens of lives across the capital. The string of bomb blasts that killed dozens here in Baghdad targeted mostly shia areas. Even a shia mosque was targeted. No one has claimed responsibility for the killings but it is expected that they are attempts by Al Qaeda and its backers to ignite sectarian war in Iraq.
The blast left 11 people dead. Press TV took to the streets to see how Iraqis were handling the fatal incidents. They told us they have had enough.
