Journalist: Sayyidna How is your health?
Al-Sadr: Praise be to God.
Journalist: Insha\'Allah you are comfortable?
Al-Sadr: We praise God. May he protect you.
Journalist: Sayyidna, regarding the recent incidents, what is your opinion?
Al-Sadr: I have a response to the messages. To His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Al-Imam Al-Mujahid Al-Sayyid Al-Khomeini - Long may he live. I have heard your message which showed your fatherly role towards me. However, I have been unable to reply because I am trapped in the corner of my house, nobody is allowed to see me, nor am I allowed to see anybody. All I ask for is that Allah the Almighty increases your life as a light for Islam, the pure religion, under your leading Marja\'iyyah. I also ask Allah to accept our conviction in his way and to give us the success in protecting the beliefs of this Ummah; for the life of any being is not measured except by how much he can give to his Ummah, by his presence, his life, his thought; and in this, you [Khomeini] have given to the Muslims, with your presence and thought, what will remain in history; a great example to all the Mujahideen. Wasalaamu Alaikum Warahmat Allah Wabarakatuh.
Journalist: Sayyidna
Al-Sadr: Yes
Journalist: This was your message to Al-Sayyid Al-Khomeini. Sayyidna, from my knowledge, many many correspondences have been sent to you from Tehran but they have not reached your hands,

Journalist: Yes, there are many correspondences and the demonstrations here are of great magnitude, in support of you and the Islamic movement in Iraq.
Al-Sadr: We ask Allah to protect you and give you success under his supervision.
Journalist: May Allah protect you.
Al-Sadr: Al-Salaamu Alaikum
Journalist: Wa Alaikum Assalaam
Journalist: Sayyidna, do you not have anything else that you want to inform us about?
Al-Sadr: At the moment I have nothing.
Journalist: Sayyidna, lately we have heard that your health is not good. Sayyidna is your health good today or not?
A-Sadr: My health is of no value.. there is no value in my health.

Imam Musa Sadr
A member of Lebanese Amal Movement has described the abduction of Lebanon\'s Shia cleric Imam Moussa al-Sadr as a deliberate ploy by the United States and international Zionism.
Khalil Hamdan, who headed a delegation representing the Amal Movement, told reporters in the Iranian capital of Tehran that the US and \'Zionists\' used Libya\'s fugitive ruler Muammar Gaddafi to implement the ploy in order to undermine the Lebanese movement, IRNA reported on Monday.
Sadr, the founder of Lebanon\'s Amal Movement, was a popular and highly revered Lebanese Shia cleric of Iranian descent that disappeared on August 31, 1978 while visiting Libya.
Hamdan further made reference to Sadr\'s endeavors to illuminate and spread the values of the Islamic Revolution and noted that Imam Moussa had elaborated on the point in his last article before his abduction.
Accompanied by two of his companions, Mohammed Yaqoub and Abbas Badreddin, Sadr was scheduled to meet with officials from the then government of Gaddafi.
At the time, Libyan authorities claimed that the Iranian-born influential cleric and his associates had boarded a flight to Rome, Italy. However, Italian officials said the three men were never found on the plane.
Born in the Iranian city of Qom, Sadr went to Lebanon in 1959 to work for the civil rights of Shias in the southern city of Tyre. In 1974, a year before Lebanon\'s 15-year civil war broke out, he founded the Movement of the Deprived, attracting thousands of followers.
In 1975, Sadr founded Amal, the first major resistance and political force for Lebanon\'s Shias, who were historically under the rule of Christians and Sunnis.
Most of Sadr\'s followers are convinced that Gaddafi ordered his assassination in a dispute over Libyan payments to Lebanese groups, but the Imam\'s family argues he could still be alive in a Libyan jail.
In 2008, the Lebanese government issued an arrest warrant for Gaddafi over Sadr\'s disappearance.
Lebanon has recognized Libya\'s Transitional National Council (TNC), saying it would work with \"emerging authorities\" in the North African country to uncover the fate of the missing cleric.

Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr was born in al-Kazimiya, Iraq to the prominent Sadr family, which originated from Jabal Amel in Lebanon.
He was a child prodigy who, at the age of 10, was delivering lectures on Islamic history.
At the age of eleven, he was a student of logic. He wrote a book refuting materialistic philosophy when he was 24.
Shaheed Sadr completed his religious studies at religious seminaries under Ayatollah al-Khoei and Muhsin al-Hakim, and began teaching at the age of 25.
Shaheed Sadr and his sister, Amina Sadr bint al-Huda, were in the end imprisoned and tortured to death by the American dog Saddam and the Ba\'ath party in Iraq.
The accusation was that they were working towards an Islamic Revolution in Iraq.
The Leader of the Muslim Ummah, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei commemorates their martyrdom in Arabic language and asks some serious questions, such as, why did the so-called human-rights organizations not raise any voice in support of this Shia scholar?
Perhaps it was because of their grudge towards the Islamic Revolution, whether it was to be in Iran or in Iraq.

Iranian Sunni and Shiite clerics visit South Lebanon and Rabab Sadr - Persian sub English

New documentary titled \"Eyes Wide Open\" covering the journey of Iranian Shiite and Sunni clerics to South Lebanon. In their journey they meet influential figures and visit various religious locations. A rare meeting between the clerics and Sheik Hassan Nasrallah will also be translated shortly. In this segment, the religious scholars visit the sister of Imam Musa al-Sadr, Rabab Sadr.
Sayyid Musá a?-?adr (1929-disappeared in 1978) (Arabic: ????? ???? ??????, Persian: ???? ???? ???, also transliterated Musa-ye Sader, Moussa Sadr and many other variants), was an Iranian-born Lebanese philosopher and a prominent Shiah religious leader who spent many years of his life in Lebanon as a religious and political leader.
Musá a?-?adr was born in Qom, Iran in 1929 to the prominent Lebanese a?-?adr family of theologians. His father was Ayatollah ?adr ad-Din a?-?adr, originally from Tyre. Grand Ayatollah Mu?ammad Baqir a?-?adr is a distant cousin.
He is said to have
worked tirelessly to improve the lot of his community - to give them a voice, to protect them from the ravages of war and intercommunal strife ...
A?-?adr was widely seen as a moderate, demanding that the Maronite Christians relinquish some of their power but pursuing ecumenism and peaceful relations between the groups. He was a vocal opponent of Israel but also attacked the PLO for endangering Lebanese civilians with their attacks.
In 1974 he founded the Movement of the Disinherited to press for better economic and social conditions for the Shiah. He established a number of schools and medical clinics throughout southern Lebanon, many of which are still in operation today.
In August 1978, al-Sadr and two companions departed for Libya to meet with government officials. The three were never heard of again. It is widely believed that the Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi ordered a?-?adr\'s killing, but the motivation is unknown. Libya has consistently denied responsibility, claiming that a?-?adr and his companions left Libya for Italy. Some others have reported that he remains secretly in jail in Libya. A?-?adr\'s disappearance continues to be a major dispute between Lebanon and Libya. Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri claimed that the Libyan regime, and particularly the Libyan leader, were responsible for the disappearance of Imam Musa Sadr, London-based Asharq Al-Awsat, a Saudi-run pan-Arab daily reported on 27 August 2006.
According to Iranian General Mansour Qadar, the head of Syrian security, Rifaat al-Asad, told the Iranian ambassador to Syria that Gaddafi was planning to kill a?-?adr. On August 27, 2008, Gaddafi was indicted by the government of Lebanon for al-Sadr\'s disappearance. [8]
