Important points of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah Speech
14-08-2020
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
The Resistance in Lebanon is not a complementary element to existence, it is the one crucial element of our existence and protection.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
I will speak about the new peace treaty between the UAE and israel. There has also been talk of links israel has had to the explosion in Lebanon. I will tackle this then speak on domestic issues in Lebanon.
Sayyed #Nasrallah:
The Zionists targeted a Hezbollah personality in Syria, martyr, Ali Kamal Mohsen. This is part of our \"punishment\" for aiding in Syria. This has left them waiting on the border on a leg and a half. I tell them to keep waiting. Our strategy has not changed.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
What the UAE has done is considered an election promotion for Trump and Netanyahu. Those 2 are losing their popularity. Netanyahu awaits his lawsuit on corruption...
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
We should not be surprised if more countries sign such treaties. Trump will milk those countries of their honor and dignity for the sake of his troubled friend, Netanyahu, the same way he milked them of their money before.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Those countries will do anything to please America, and America says, \"Please israel and we are satisfied.\"
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
This act is strongly condemned. It is a betrayal to Islam and Arabism. But I tell the Palestinians and the people of the Resistance not to feel distraught, for those hypocrites need to be exposed. \"Lest you hate a thing when it is good for you.\"
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
There were several theories on the causes of the Beirut explosion. One being that it was a planned attack, and the other being that it was a result of negligence and irresponsibility.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Many theories were raised, but the mere fact of leaving fireworks and other flammable material in this manner is negligence, but also a crime!
Sayyed #Nasrallah:
Many were quick to blame Hezbollah and accuse us of knowing that israel was planning this. They claimed that we knew and that we would not respond had this been an attack. Hezbollah would not leave an attack on a single person, let alone an attack this enormous
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
If israel really was behind this incident, then the participation of the FBI in the investigations will be for the sake of covering up any evidence against israel. We are Lebanese too, and we do not trust the FBI. The Lebanese people need answers.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
If this was a planned attack, whoever planned it was not betting on the attack itself, but on its outcome. There was a huge campaign aiming to overthrow the entire system.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
At the time the Lebanese people needed every bit of help they could get, the media immediately took advantage of the situation to feed their agendas, push for a civil war, overthrow the presidency, parliament, and entire system.
Sayyed #Nasrallah:
There were certain political groups in Lebanon, serving foreign agendas, who working hard on igniting strife. They cannot expect someone with a history like president Aoun, who did not surrender before threats of getting his house bombed, to simply surrender now.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
I have to thank PM Hassan Diab and every minister in his council who agreed on taking on the responsibility despite all the odds and remaining firm despite all the obstacles.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
The coming government should be supported by all political parties. Its priorities should be reform, rebuilding after the port explosion, electricity, environment, public schools, the economic crisis...
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
The government should insist on the investigations in the port explosion.
This government cannot be a neutral one. All of us understand the reality of the Lebanese society. We do not believe in the existence of a neutral individual in Lebanon.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Anyone calling for a neutral government is only trying to waste time. We all know what works and doesn\'t work in the country. Anyways, I am only putting this out there for the people to know.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
Those (members of parliament) who resigned during those difficult times dared to throw accusations at the ones who chose to still carry their responsibilities.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
If you want to abandon your responsibilities, quit politics. You cannot weasel out now and abandon your responsibilities when it is your policies that led the country to its current situation.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
There was a huge campaign targeted at the people of the Resistance. I tell you all to remain patient. Remain furious, but remain patient, for we might need this rage one day.
Sayyed #Nasrallah:
On the 18th, the ICJ will issue its judgment (on the Rafiq Hariri assassination case). We do not acknowledge this court & if they were to blame any of our personnel, we will back them up because we insist of their innocence. We need to remain patient at those times.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
At the end, I want to stress on the importance of abiding by all the necessary measures and instructions that have to do with the coronavirus. The situation is getting worse and our hospitals cannot withstand the pressure.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah:
We never know what might happen in the future or what new events might occur in the Zionist entity. Some would claim that Hezbollah is worried or perplexed. We are calm, collected, and certain of everything.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah
speaking of the nature of the Ashura commemoration, avoiding gatherings, and ensuring social distancing.

[Friday Sermon] The 3 Alifs to Live By | How to Approach Our Desires - Maulana Syed Muhammad Rizvi | English

- Importance of reminding ourselves of the mission of Imam Hussain (a.s).
- In a will to his brother, Muhammad Hanafia, Imam Hussain (a.s) explains the purpose of his actions in 4 points:
-- He negates wrong motives towards himself knowing that people would try to portray him as having ulterior motives.
-- He then expresses what his purpose is, to seek reformation in the community of his grandfather.
-- He explains the method of the Islamic law that he is using: bidding people to do good and forbidding them from evil.
-- And lastly he confirms that what he is doing is continuing the path of his grand father and his father.
- Reform should be an ongoing process at an individual and collective level.
- Examples of reformation on a personal level: focusing on improving our prayers, reflections of our fasts, giving charity, reflection on our means of livelihood etc..
- Examples of reformation on a social level by taking lessons from Karbala: brotherhood and unity of fellow Muslims in spite of the diversity in race, colour, language and ethnic background, outlook towards Muslim community on a global level, outlook towards non-Muslim etc..
- Importance of responding to Imam Hussain’s(a.s) call by submitting our heart, ears, mind, eyes, opinions and desires to him.
- When our heart is longing for something that is not permissible then make the choice that Imam Hussain(a.s)would make.
- We are surrounded by different circles around us.
- Inner circle are the Shias of the Ahlulbayt.
- Bigger circle around it, is the Muslim community.
- Outer bigger circle is the humanity at large.
- 3 Alif to keep in mind when interacting which each circle of groups:
-- Ithaar which means to sacrifice. For the inner circle the expectation is to have willingness to sacrifice for one another.
-- Infaaq which means to be charitable. This needs to be applied towards the Muslim community at large.
-- Insaaf which means to be just. The minimum requirement towards the humanity at large is to be just towards them. That doesn’t mean you don’t need to be charitable towards them either.
- Ilm-ul Ghayb (knowledge of the unseen) is only given to the chosen ones by the grace of Allah.(s.w.t).
- Narration of the story of the thirst of Hur and his army to show that Imam Hussain(a.s) had ilm-e ghayb.
- Imam Hussain(a.s) did not ask Hur if he had come as a supporter or an enemy. He saw they were thirsty and he quenched their thirst. That’s called humanity. Yet he was denied water in Karbala.
- He used his ilm-e ghayb in order to guide others but he would never use it for his own benefit. That was his test and trial. He knew water would be stopped yet he did not fill extra water for his own self.
- He personally used less water then others. On the day of Ashura, the most thirsty person was Imam Hussain (a.s).
- We need to reflect and see how we treat one another.
- Importance for volunteers to realize that those who come for the commemoration are the guests of Imam Hussain(a.s) and the volunteer is the host on behalf of Imam Hussain(a.s). So they should treat the guests well.
- It’s the kindness that Imam Hussain (a.s) showed towards them, that eventually brought back Hur to Imam’s camp and he then attained martyrdom.

What advice does Imam Khomeini have for the youth?
Why is it difficult for one to reform in the later stages of life?
And when is it truly an Eid for us?
Additionally, is the banquet of Allah open for all or is it specific to just Muslims?
And what should we do when we are invited by Allah to be His guests?
Furthermore, is fasting limited to abstaining from food and drink from dawn to dusk?
Finally, what is the reason for all the crime and corruption in the world?
The magnanimous Imam Khomeini answers and explains the true essence of the holy month of Ramadan.

[5] Imam Ali Responds to Mua'wiyah's Threat of War | Sheikh Azhar Nasser | English

You have said that I was dragged like a camel with a nose string to swear allegiance (to Abu Bakr at Saqifah). By the Eternal Allah, you had intended to revile me but you have praised me, and to humiliate me but have yourself been humiliated. What humiliation does it mean for a Muslim to be the victim of oppression so long as he does not entertain any doubt in his religion, nor any misgiving in his firm belief! This argument of mine is intended for others, but I have stated it to you only in so far as it was appropriate.
Then you have recalled my position vis-a- vis \'Uthman, and in this matter an answer is due to you because of your kinship with him. So (now tell me), which of us was more inimical towards \'Uthman and who did more to bring about his killing; or who offered him his support but he made him sit down and stopped him; or who was he whom he called for help but who turned his face from him and drew his death near him till his fate over took him? No, no; by Allah:
Indeed knoweth Allah those who hinder others among you and those who say unto their brethren \"Come hitherunto us\", and they come not to fight but a little. (Qur\'an 33:18)
I am not going to offer my excuse for reproving him for (some of) his innovations, for if my good counsel and guidance to him was a sin then very often a person who is blamed has no sin and “sometimes the only reward a counseller 4 reaps is suspicion (of evil)”.
I desired naught but reform what I am able to (do); and my guidance is not but with Allah; On Him (alone) do I rely, and unto Him (alone) do I turn. (Qur\'an, 11:88)
You have mentioned that for me and for my followers you have only the sword. This makes even a weeping person laugh. Did you ever see the descendants of \'Abd al-Muttalib running away from battle, or being frightened by swords? \"Wait a little till Hamal 5 joins the battle\" shortly, then he whom you are seeking will seek you and he whom you think to be far away will approach near you. I am (shortly) speeding towards you with a force of Muhajirun and Ansar and those who follow them in virtue. Their number will be great and their dust will spread all round. They will be wearing their shrouds and their most coveted desire is to meet Allah. They will be accompanied by the descendants of those who took part in the battle of Badr, and they will have Hashimite swords whose cut you have already seen in the case of your brother, maternal uncle, your grandfather and your kinsmen.
Nor are they far distant from the unjust ones. (Qur\'an, 11:83)

Description:

Shaheed Beheshti | IP Talk Show
Welcome to the Islamic Pulse TalkShow.
In this episode we\'re talking about the elegant, refined, and eloquent \"Shaheed Beheshti\".
On what terrorist incident and on what date did Shaheed Beheshti attain martyrdom?
And what profound statement did Imam Khomeini use for Shaheed Beheshti?
What role did Shaheed Beheshti play when it comes to the field of philosophy in the modern era?
What were some of the challenges that the likes of Shaheed Beheshti had to deal with in their time?
And what were some of the unfortunate things that were said about Islam; things that the likes of Shaheed Beheshti had to reform in the society in general?
What were some of the languages that Shaheed Beheshti had command over and were his activities limited to the Islamic Republic of Iran?
What was an instrumental role played by Shaheed Beheshti at the onset of the victory of the Islamic Revolution?
And what role did Shaheed Beheshti play when it comes to the defense of Wilayat al-Faqih in the constitution of the Islamic Republic?
And finally, what does Shaheed Beheshti teach us when it comes to sacrificing for the greater good and for the ultimate Truth?
To answer these questions and more, we humbly invited Sayyid Muhammad Hashemi from the Islamic Republic of Iran, to sit down with us and speak a little bit about \"Shaheed Beheshti\".

Unfortunately there is a misconception that we should befriend and be close to the oppressors to reform and transform the oppressors. Is this notion in line with Islam\'s teachings? Let\'s turn towards Imam Husayn (A) and learn from him!
The question is, if we do not be close and cozy with the oppressors, aggressors, and transgressors, what kind of relationship should we have with the oppressors?
Finally who are the oppressors that we are talking about?
In this Scholar Clip, Shaykh Ali Qomi addresses the proposition of \"The Reformation of the Taghut\".
