Our condolences to the believers all across the world upon these days of Muharram and the commemoration of the mission and martyrdom of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Husayn (A).
And our condolences upon the martyrdom anniversary of the 4th divinely appointed Imam, Imam Ali ibn Husayn al-Sajjad (A).
Yet, what was just one of the many missions of Imam Sajjad (A)?
And how long did her eminence, lady Zaynab binte Ali (A) live after the event of Karbala?
And why did lady Zaynab binte Ali (A) life for such a short time after the tragedy of Karbala?
In such a stifling environment created by the Umayyad dynasty, how did Imam Sajjad (A) keep the martyrdom and mission of Imam Husayn (A) alive?
Finally, what are some of the instances in which Imam Sajjad (A) cried over and wept over Imam Husayn (A)?
The honorable Ustad Masoud Aali explains and details \\\"The Mission of Imam Sajjad (A)\\\".

One of the factors that expands one\'s capacity, which we discussed last night, is good manners and morals [akhlaq], especially at home and with one\'s family. The Holy Prophet (s), who had the most and highest level of capacity, had the best etiquette of all creation. In this regard, his (s) capacity was great.
May God have mercy on Shaheed Beheshti. In his memoirs, he writes that I asked Imam Khomeini, \"During the time when you were young in Qom, who taught the class on etiquette and morals [akhlaq]?\" Imam Khomeini said that when I was young, there was no class on etiquette and morals [akhlaq]. There were individuals who embodied good etiquette and morals, who we learned from them through their actions.
No one sat and taught good etiquette and morals [akhlaq] in a class. There were individuals who embodied good akhlaq. Individuals like Ayatollah Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi, whose entire conduct and behaviors embodied good akhlaq. I will give you one example. Notice how if someone were to see this, for the rest of their life, they would not forget it.
One day, it was raining, and it had rained very much. At that time, Qom had dirt roads, not asphalt roads- so when it rained, the streets would become muddy. Once a seminary student was passing through one of these streets. He was moving quickly in order to make it in time for his lesson. [As he was walking], he stepped in a muddy pit, and one of his shoes got stuck inside the muddy pit. He limped over to a wall and stood their one-legged wondering what he would do now. At that moment, Ayatollah Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi, the great marja\' taqlid who truly was a great man. He was also elderly. From his place of study, which was in a mosque close by, Ayatollah Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi came out and saw this seminary student standing with one leg while his shoe was stuck in the mud. He took off his own shoes and put it on the foot of the seminary student. He told him wear this and go to your lesson. This seminary student was shocked and said, \"Agha, I will think of something to do.\" Ayatollah Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi without any shoes said, \"No, my home is close by. I will go home and wash my feet. You go to your studies.\"
Now look at this, for this eldery maraj\' taqlid to have an interaction like this with a youth, this is better than a thousand lessons of akhlaq given verbally. In fact, etiquette and morals [akhlaq], gnosticism [irfan], training and education [tarbiyat], before they are to be read about in books or heard in lectures, they must be seen. A person must see someone who is like this, not just hear about it or read about it in books. They must see someone like this.
Allamah Majlesi, may God be pleased with him, who compiled the \"Bihar al-Anwar\" and was a great person- on Thursday nights, he used to gather his family and speak to them for 30 minutes. He would tell them a narration [hadith], give them admonishments and advice, tell them some Islamic rulings, and recite a eulogy. He would speak to them for 30 minutes. But this Allamah Majlesi, who would speak to them for 30 minutes, he would act on these for an entire week. When his children would see his actions, akhlaq, kindness, compassion, and honesty, his 30 minutes of speaking had a deep effect within the depths of their being.
I will never forget this. There was a successful mother who lived in Tehran. She had four children who each of them was better, nobler, more religious, and more respecful than the next. They were also very educated. They asked this successful mother that how were you able to raise such good kids? Nowadays, parents don\'t have much influence over their children. It is truly like this. So they asked this successful mother that how did you raise such good kids? She said something very wise. She said that whatever I wanted my children to become, I myself practiced. That which I wanted my children to be, I myself became it.

Representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross Peter Stoeker visited Iranian diplomat Jalal Sharafi in a hospital in Tehran on Tuesday and witnessed in person the traces of severe physical tortures on his body from head to toe. Sharafi - the second secretary of the Iranian embassy in Baghdad - was abducted in southeastern Baghdad on February 4 by a group connected to the Iraqi Defense Ministry which operates under the supervision of the U.S. forces in Iraq. He was released on April 3. In the hospital where Sharafi was also visited by Iraq ambassador to Tehran -Mohamed Majid Al-Sheikh- Stoeker observed holes drilled in Sharafis feet fractures of the nose and neck - some deep bruises on his back - and evidence of a tear to his ear drum and bleeding in the alimentary canal. Sharafi told the Red Cross representative that he had undergone horrific torturing during the first 15 days of his arrest. He was later transferred by an ambulance on a wheelchair to the Foreign Ministry building to attend a news conference with the domestic and foreign reporters and photographers. He told the reporters that during his captivity - he was repeatedly tortured and interrogated about Irans role in Iraq. He said his kidnappers - who spoke in English and Arabic - were in constant contact with their chiefs through walkie-talkies while abducted him in southeastern Baghdad. In the first four or five days an eight-person group regularly beat me up day and night with a wire. He said he was asked - why Iran helps Islamic groups in Iraq and what those groups are. Why Iran supports the Maliki government and the Iraqi people. Are there any secret relations between them... Why do you help the Sunni scholars - and asked some questions about the detained Iranian diplomats in Arbil -northern Iraq- the relations between Iraqi Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani and Iraqi president Jalal Talabani with Iran and in Iran which persons purchase uranium.... He added -At the last stage of my interrogation somebody who introduced himself as an American and a mediator between the U.S. embassy and the person in charge of my case came to me and since I could not understand English the words were translated into Arabic.Mr. Stoeker said his organization had been unable to find him in Iraq.

Iran finds US-backed MKO fingermarks in riots - English

The terrorist Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) has reportedly played a major role in intensifying the recent wave of street violence in Iran.
Iranian security officials reported Saturday that they have identified and arrested a large number of MKO members who were involved in recent riots in Iran's capital.
According to the security officials, the arrested members had confessed that they were extensively trained in Iraq's camp Ashraf to create post-election mayhem in the country.
They had also revealed that they have been given directions by the MKO command post in Britain.
Street protests broke out after defeated presidential candidate Mir-Hossein Mousavi rejected President Ahmadinejad's decisive win in the June 12 election. His supporters have staged a series of illegal rallies ever since.
Iran's deputy police commander, on Saturday, warned against the mass gatherings, asserting that those who engage in any such actions would be severely reprimanded.
Earlier on Saturday, MKO leader Maryam Rajavi had supported the recent wave of street violence in Iran during a Saturday address to supporters in Paris.
Rajavi had reportedly described the MKO terrorists as the real winners of the Iranian election.
The Mujahedin Khalq Organization is a Marxist guerilla group, which was founded in the 1960s.In the past two decades, MKO leaders have been resettled in the northern outskirts of Paris.
The terrorists are especially notorious for taking sides with former dictator Saddam Hussein during the war Iraq imposed on Iran (1980-1988).
The group masterminded a slew of terrorist operations in Iran and Iraq -- one of which was the 1981 bombing of the offices of the Islamic Republic Party, in which more than 72 Iranian officials were killed.
A 2007 German intelligence report from the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution has identified the MKO as a "repressive, sect-like and Stalinist authoritarian organization which centers around the personality cult of [MKO leaders] Maryam and Masoud Rajavi".
Anne Singleton, an expert on the MKO and author of 'Saddam's Private Army' explains that the West aims to keep the group afloat in order to use it in efforts to stage a regime change in Iran.
"With a new Administration in the White House a pre-emptive strike on Iran looks unlikely. Instead the MKO's backers have put together a coalition of small irritant groups, the known minority and separatist groups, along with the MKO. These groups will be garrisoned around the border with Iran and their task is to launch terrorist attacks into Iran over the next few years to keep the fire hot," she explains.
"The role of the MKO is to train and manage these groups using the expertise they acquired from Saddam's Republican Guard," Singleton added.
A May 2005 Human Rights Watch report also condemns the MKO for running prison camps in Iraq and committing human rights violations. According to report, the outlawed group puts defectors under torture and jail terms.

A May 2005 Human Rights Watch report also condemns the MKO for running prison camps in Iraq and committing human rights violations. According to report, the outlawed group puts defectors under torture and jail terms.

The assassination of Iranian scientists has disgraced the UN nuclear agency as the body has provided Western intelligence agencies with confidential information on Iran's nuclear experts, a political analyst tells Press TV.
On Wednesday morning, an unknown motorcyclist attached a sticky bomb to Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan's car near Allameh Tabatabaei University in Tehran.
Ahmadi Roshan, a Sharif University of Technology chemical engineering graduate and the deputy director of marketing at Iran's Natanz nuclear facility, was killed immediately and his driver, who had sustained injures, passed away a few hours later in hospital.
In an interview with Press TV on Wednesday, Professor Seyyed Mohamed Marandi said, “IAEA [International Atomic Energy Agency] officials had met him [Ahmadi Roshan] earlier.”
Marandi added that “a lot of Iranian intelligence and information have been given to intelligence sources as well as terrorist organizations” by the IAEA in the past.
The prominent political analyst said it is difficult for Iran to continue cooperation with the IAEA as the agency is “dominated by the Western countries” and puts “[Iranian] people at risk.”
Marandi said all of Iranian scientists who had been targeted by terrorist attacks “have had their names given by the IAEA to third parties.”
“It is obvious that Western intelligence agencies are carrying out these attacks, or if the Israelis are carrying them out, it is with the knowledge of the Europeans and Americans. Because these agencies are very closely aligned to one another, they cooperate extensively, they exchange information,” he added.
The latest terrorist attack comes as Iran has reached an agreement with the P5+1 -- Britain, China, France, Russia, and the United States plus Germany - to hold negotiations in Turkey.
The US, Israel and their allies accuse Iran of pursuing a military nuclear program and have used this allegation as a pretext to sway the UNSC to impose four rounds of sanctions on Iran.
Based on these accusations, they have also repeatedly threatened Tehran with the "option" of a military strike.
This is while in November 2011, some of the US presidential hopefuls called for conducting covert operations ranging from assassinating Iranian nuclear scientists to launching a military strike on Iran as well as sabotaging Tehran's nuclear program.
The calls for assassinations are not idle threats as a number of Iranian scientists have been assassinated over the past few years. Professor Majid Shahriari and Professor Masoud Ali-Mohammadi are among the victims of these acts of terror.
On November 29, 2010, Shahriari and Fereydoun Abbasi were targeted by terrorist attacks; Shahriari was killed immediately and Dr. Abbasi, the current director of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, only sustained injuries.
Iran says as the UN Resolution 1747, adopted against Tehran in March 2007, cited Abbasi's name as a "nuclear scientist," the perpetrators were in a position to trace their victim.
According to reports, Ahmadi Roshan had recently met IAEA inspectors, a fact which indicates that the UN nuclear agency has leaked information about Iran's nuclear facilities and scientists.
