Munajat Shabaniyyah är en intensiv och väldigt andligt bön, skriven av Imam Ali(A), som är rekommenderad att läsas främst varje dag under den heliga månaden Shabaan men även under resten av året. Detta är en bön som är en av favoriterna hos de islamiska mystikerna (Urefa) och läses genom hela året. Ayatollah al-Udhma Behjat(RA) brukar säga: "Läs denna bön när ni än har lust". Denna bön hade även en speciellt plats i Imam Khomeini(RA) hjärta. Han har kommenterat bönen många gånger på diverse sätt som belyser hur pass stor den är. I "Light Within Me" säger han: "Enligt rapporter läste alla Imamer(A) Munajat Shabaniyyah. Jag har inte läst någon annanstans om någon annan bön eller invokation som lästes av alla Imamer(A)". Han brukade avsluta sina föreläsningar och lektioner han höll med att citera följande sektion där bönen kanske når sitt klimax vad gäller andlig kärlek, extas och gudomlig närhet: "Min Herre, bevilja mig komplett avskildhet från allt annat än Dig och total underkastelse inför Dig. Upplys mina ögons hjärta med ljuset av att se på Dig till sådana grader att det tränger igenom ljusets slöjor och når Storhetens Källa, och låt min själ dränkas i äran av Din helighet." Munajat Shabaniyyah is an intense and very spiritual prayer, written by Imam Ali (A), which is recommended to read all of each day during the holy month of Shabaan but also for the rest of the year. This is a prayer which is one of the favorites among the Islamic mystics (Urefa) and read through the whole year. Ayatollah al-Udhma Behjat (RA) used to say: "Read this prayer when you feel like it yet." This prayer also had a special place of Imam Khomeini (RA) hearts. He has commented on the prayer many times in various ways to illustrate just how big it is. The "Light Within Me", he says: "According to reports, read all the Imams (A) Munajat Shabaniyyah. I have not read anywhere else on any other prayer or invocation, which was read by all the Imams (A)". He would finish his lectures and classes he held on to quote the following section where prayer may reach its climax in terms of spiritual love, ecstasy and divine closeness: "My Lord, grant me complete detachment from everything but Thee, and total submission to You. Advise my eyes with the light of heart to see you to such an extent that it penetrates the veils of light and reaches the public's Great Source, and let my soul be drowned in honor of your
