The family of a Palestinian man killed by israeli soldiers has been forced to cancel his funeral, after Israel refused to hand over his body. The Israeli army says its soldiers opened fire on Yusef after he drove into their base to attack them. However, his family says that the Israeli army prevented him from entering through the checkpoint on his way home from work. Yusef had become frustrated and drove through, where he was shot and killed. Yusef\'s father also said, when he arrived home in the evening, the Israeli army had raided his home and arrested three of his brothers who were released later. This is the second tragic incident for the family, as their other son had been murdered in a similar way just three years ago. Other relatives of Yusef also told us how Israel failed to meet its promise to hand over the body of the slain man. The Israelis have refused to hand over the body of Yousef, even after their family was waiting for hours to receive it. And this forced them to cancel the funeral for him, which was due to take place in Abudiyeh village in Bethlehem.

سومین نشست اندیشه‌های راهبردی http://farsi.khamenei.ir/news-content?id=18447 صدها تن از اندیشمندان، نخبگان، اساتید حوزه و دانشگاه، پژوهشگران و مؤلفان آثار علمی، همراه با حضرت آیت‌الله خامنه‌ای رهبر انقلاب اسلامی، در تاریخ 14 دی 1390، در سومین نشست اندیشه‌های راهبردی جمهوری اسلامی، به تعامل فكری و بررسی ابعاد مختلف موضوع زن و خانواده پرداختند. هدف از نشست‌های اندیشه‌های راهبردی كه دو جلسه قبلی آن با موضوع «الگوی اسلامی-ایرانی پیشرفت» و «عدالت» برگزار شده است، ایجاد فضایی علمی و تخصصی برای تضارب آرا و اندیشه‌ها در جهت ایجاد گفتمان علمی و كاربردی و تصمیم‌سازی درباره موضوعات راهبردی و مورد نیاز كشور است. در این نشست 4 ساعته 10 نفر از صاحب‌نظرانی كه مقالات و پژوهشهای آنان از میان 188 مقاله‌ی رسیده به دبیرخانه نشست، به عنوان آثار برتر شناخته شده، به بیان دیدگاه‌ها و طرح نظریات خود پرداختند. بعد از ارائه مقالات علمی، حضرت آیت‌الله خامنه‌ای رهبر انقلاب اسلامی، در سخنانی، هدف از برگزاری سلسله نشست‌های اندیشه‌های راهبردی با نخبگان و اندیشمندان را، تبادل نظر عالمانه به منظور ایجاد زمینه استفاده از دیدگاه‌های مختلف علمی و دستیابی به یك اندیشه صحیح و جامع به عنوان قاعده‌ی برنامه‌ریزی و اجرا دانستند و تأكید كردند: دستاورد این نشست‌ها كه در موضوعات اساسی ادامه خواهد یافت، باید متین، عمیق، ماندگار و قابل عرضه و دفاع باشد. ایشان خاطرنشان كردند: درخصوص مباحث مطرح شده در دو نشست قبلی، كارهای خوبی انجام گرفته است و با جدیت نیز پیگیری می‌شود. رهبر انقلاب اسلامی با تأكید بر اینكه مسئله زن و خانواده از مسائل درجه یك كشور است افزودند: در خصوص زن و خانواده، منابع و تعالیم اسلامیِ برجسته و متقنی وجود دارد كه باید پس از تئوریزه شدن، بصورت نظریه‌های قابل استفاده، در اختیار همه قرار گیرد. حضرت آیت‌الله خامنه‌ای، نقش و سهم بانوان در نظام اسلامی را ممتاز و بی‌بدیل دانستند و خاطرنشان كردند: نقش بانوان در دوران مبارزه، پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی، بعد از انقلاب بویژه دوره‌ی بسیار سخت دفاع مقدس، و در عرصه‌های مختلف، نقشی مؤثر، ممتاز و بی‌جایگزین است كه با هیچ معیاری قابل اندازه‌گیری نیست. http://english.khamenei.ir//index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1566&Itemid=2 Hundreds of scholars and outstanding personalities exchanged views on the issue of women and family with Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
