To Pakistan now, where at least four people are killed in a car bombing in the provincial capital of Balochistan.
Quetta city\'s deputy inspector general says an explosives-laden car was blown up in one of the busiest areas. The powerful blast rocked the whole area, smashing windows of buildings and shops nearby. No person or group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. Quetta has been plagued by sectarian violence, targeted killings, kidnappings and militant attacks. Militants there, have long demanded more autonomy and a greater share of Balochistan\'s natural resources. Militant groups have seemingly operated with impunity as security forces are said to have turned a blind eye to their attacks and kidnappings.

Iran\'s deputy foreign minister has described the upcoming nuclear talks with the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany as a test.
Majid Takht-e Ravanchi called on the group to enter into negotiations with goodwill and avoid making unreasonable demands. The official also said Iran\'s nuclear issue has multiple and complicated aspects that are not expected to be fully resolved over a couple of meetings. A new round of talks over Iran\'s nuclear energy program is scheduled for November 20 in Geneva, Switzerland. The two sides failed to reach a deal during the previous round held earlier this month. Tehran blames a division among members of the sextet for the failure.

Reports from Yemen say casualties are caused in yet another U-S assassination drone strike in an eastern province.
The airstrike targeted a pickup truck in Hadra-maut province, where three people were killed. No further details are available at the moment, but we\'ll keep you updated as we get them. It is the latest drone attacks that the U-S has been launching in Yemen over the past years. Washington is also carrying out its drone campaign in several other Muslim countries including Pakistan and Afghanistan. The U-S claims that the drone attacks are part of its so-called war on terror, and that they target militants. However, facts on the ground show that civilians often take the brunt.

Thousands of people have been evacuated from flood-damaged homes in northern Gaza. The United Nations and Gazan officials are talking of a humanitarian crisis.
The flooding, caused by days of torrential rains, has been so severe that many homes could only be accessed by rowing boat. The Gaza Health Ministry says one person has been killed and score of others injured as flood waters damaged poorly-built homes in the coastal territory. The government also says schools and other centers have turned into temporary shelters for thousands of homeless Palestinians. The deadly deluge has added to the woes of Palestinians in the coastal enclave, which continues to suffer from electricity cuts, a sewage crisis, and drinking water shortages-- all under a crippling Israeli blockade.
