Saudi attack on Yemen condemned in Toronto: Peace and justice loving Canadians have not been swayed by the nasty propaganda of the Saudi regime and its supporters in the west that their attack on Yemen is justified. Instead, hundreds of people braved strong winds to denounce the illegitimate Saudi regime for its equally illegitimate war on the poor people of Yemen. There were also demands to put the Saudi rulers on trial for war crimes.
Chanting slogans against the Banu Saud as well as their masters in Washington DC, the protesters demanded an immediate halt to attacks on the Yemeni people that have killed more than 2,600 civilians so far.
They also demanded that humanitarian aid be provided to the people of whom more than 120,000 (according to UN figures) have been displaced from their homes since the Saudis and their allies launched their war of aggression on March 26.
There were also repeated calls for putting Saudi rulers on trial for war crimes since Yemen has not attacked Saudi Arabia.
Further, it is not the people of Yemen that have attacked Saudi Arabia, but the illegitimate regime of the Najdi Bedouins that has attacked the poorest Arab country in the region.
Speakers included Ken Stone from the Hamilton Coalition to Stop the War, Sid Lacombe of the Canadian Peace Alliance, Dave Mckwee of the Toronto Coalition to the Stop the War, Zafar Bangash Director Institute of Contemporary Islamic Thought and Maulana Zaki Bakri of Al Mahdi Centre.
Protest Rally was organized by the Canadian Peace Alliance and Toronto Coalition to Stop the war and supported by many Christian, Jewish and Islamic groups.

There was so much more incredibly important stuff to update y\'all on that we couldn\'t fit it all into the first episodes intro, so we give you friends a \"Yemen Update 2\" in order to finalize this really important update on Yemen that was all too necessary.
But please try to remember that with all the different current events going on in the world, we all really need a funny, relaxed, refreshing, and yet eye-opening commentary on it all.
So Sayyid Shahryar is here to humbly shed a little insight into all that\'s going on around the world; past, present, and perhaps even future.
So in this episode part 2, we\'re starting off with a really important update, and then we\'re \"Keepin\' It Real\" by continuing to talk about the brave people of Yemen and how they are \"Barefooted, But Deadly II\".
The barbaric and cruel imposed war on the Yemeni people has been raging on for 8 long years.
A Saudi-led coalition, supported by and with a green light from western powers, has embarked upon the total destruction of the already impoverished nation of Yemen.
But who all was dumb enough to join the Saudi-led, western sponsored coalition?
And who are the western sponsors who are selling billions of dollars in weapons to the Saudi-led, western sponsored coalition?
And what is the current humanitarian condition of Yemen that has come about due to the Saudi-led, western sponsored coalition?
And someone please answer for us, why in the world are the brave and courageous people of Yemen \"Barefooted, But Deadly\"?
Hey, we\'re just \"Keepin\' It Real\".

During a televised speech delivered late on Friday, Nasrallah denounced Saudi-led coalition attacks on Yemen, which began on Thursday, saying that the real reason for the airstrikes is that Saudi Arabia has lost its domination on the impoverished country.
“Saudi war is aimed at regaining the domination of Yemen” he noted.
Saudis try to justify their attacks by saying that the situation in Yemen threatens the security in the region, Nasrallah stated, adding that such justifications are false and baseless.
The Hezbollah chief stressed that the countries in the coalition did not take any measures against revolutionaries in the countries like Tunisia and Egypt during the Islamic Awakening movement in the Middle East and Africa, but used the situation in Yemen as an excuse to wage a bloody war on the country.

Nasrallah\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s blistering speech today: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"To all those who are “deeply disturbed” by Hezbollah’s unprecedented, powerful voice against the House of Saud, we tell them today, loudly and clearly, that with this ongoing criminal Riyadh-led assault on Yemen, we believe the time has come for all the Arab and Muslim peoples of our region to rise up in unison and tell the tyrannical Saudi regime - which is not merely responsible for cultivating Takfirism, unleashing it throughout the world and is still teaching this poisonous ideology in its own schools, but is also currently engaged in the destruction of our homelands as well as the brutal massacring of our people - that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! No amount of terrorism will make the Moqawama back down even one iota from staunchly denouncing and exposing this despotic regime for the crimes it is committing, nor will any threat prevent Hezbollah from standing in solidarity with the courageous and steadfast Yemeni people, who just like the resistance movements in Lebanon and Gaza before them, will undoubtedly achieve victory over the US-Saudi-Israeli scheme.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"

What are some examples of the steadfastness and capabilities of the Resistance Front?
Who are the ones affected by the siege imposed on Yemen led by the wicked Saudi regime, their cohorts, and the West?
And how is the ground reality in Yemen different from what is being portrayed by the mass media?
Furthermore, is the enemy – with its advanced and unlimited ammo supply – any match for Ansar-Allah and the Resistance Front in Yemen?
Besides, what is the secret behind the numerous victories of Ansar-Allah?
And finally, what does Shaykh Akram al-Kaabi have to say to the courageous leader of Ansar-Allah – Sayyid Abdul Malik al-Houthi?
Shaykh Akram al-Kaabi praises the courage and ability of the Resistance Front in Yemen and discloses the shameful and humiliating condition of the enemy, as he speaks about the abilities of the resistance and \\\\\\\"Yemen\\\\\\\'s Ansar-Allah\\\\\\\'s Strong Resistance\\\\\\\".

YEMEN Uprising of the Oppressed - Role of Saudi Arabia and USA - English

The leader of the Houthi movement in Yemen says Saudi Arabia is an enemy to the entire Muslim world, accusing the Kingdom of creating hatred and hostility, Press TV reports.
Mohamed Badreddin al-Houthi said in an interview with Press TV that Saudi Arabia is “an enemy to all the free people of the world, including non-Muslims.”
“It manufactures terrorism and an ideology that divides the people, divides Muslims, creates hatred and hostility,” Houthi added.
The Yemeni figure, who is the brother of the late leader of the movement, Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi, further explained that in 2009 the Saudis “bribed the tribal leaders within the Houthi movement into favoring the Salafi-Wahabi ideology” so that they can control the border region between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, especially the northwestern city of Sa'ada.
In 2009, clashes broke out between the Houthi fighters and Saudi forces along the common border between the two countries. The Houthis accused Saudi Arabia of supporting the Yemeni government in attacks against them.
Houthi pointed out that the Saudi regime “would spend hundreds of thousands if not millions” to achieve its goals.
Hussein al-Houthi and a number of his men were killed in an attack launched by Yemeni government forces in an area close to the border with the Kingdom in September 2004.
Yemeni dictator Ali Abdullah Saleh has repeatedly claimed that if he hands over power, Yemen would be divided into multiple states.
Mohamed al-Houthi, however, said the Yemeni nation “cannot be separated,” adding that the most important thing for the movement is “how to serve this nation, our Ummah, how to protect our morals and religious principles.”
“We want dignity and independence. We will not accept continuation of Saleh scenario. We had enough during the 33 years [of his rule]. We cannot be fooled again,” Houthi said.
Saleh, who was injured in an attack on the presidential palace in June, returned to Yemen on September 23 after receiving treatment in Saudi Arabia.
Demonstrators in Yemen have been holding protests against the US-backed Saleh regime since late January, demanding the trial of the Yemeni dictator for the brutal crackdown on the popular uprising.
According to local reports, hundreds of Yemenis have been killed and thousands more have been injured since the onset of the popular uprising in the country.

Six years have now passed since the start of the war on Yemen.
Millions of innocent people have been bombed in the streets and in their homes. Schools and hospitals have been bombed. Critical civilian infrastructure has been destroyed.
According to the United Nations, the war on Yemen has created one of the greatest humanitarian crisis in the world.
The nation of Yemen has been bombarded for six long years by a coalition led by Saudi Arabia and its allies including the UAE, who happen to be some of the biggest buyers of military weapons sold by the likes of the US and the UK.
But who gave the Saudi-led coalition the green light to start bombing the innocent people of Yemen?
Despite the six years of a hard war, have the Yemeni people lost the battle?
And what happens to those who ally themselves with the United States of America?
The Leader of the Muslim Ummah, Imam Khamenei, answers these questions and more.
Interestingly, the Leader asks a direct question to the American government.
Please pay attention and we are all waiting for the shameless American government\'s answer to the Leader\'s question.

What does the Leader of the Muslim Ummah have to say about the issue of Palestine?
And what is the dirty goal of America and its followers regarding the issue of Palestine?
Additionally, how are the issues of Yemen and Palestine similar?
And what advice does Imam Khamenei have for the authorities of Saudi Arabia?
Moreover, who – according to Imam Khamenei – will be victorious in the Yemen war and why?
And finally, what does his eminence have to say about the two-month ceasefire that was announced?
The Leader of the Muslim Ummah – Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei – answers and talks about the failure of the oppressors on both the Palestinian and the Yemeni front.
The Pivot is Palestine, and Free It Shall Be!
It is the Promise of Allah.

The chorus of opposition to US drone attacks is getting louder and louder in Yemen.
The Yemeni parliament has banned the drone attacks in a symbolic vote. Anger has been on the rise at the US drone attacks in Yemen. The country has seen several protests against deadly raids by the unmanned aerial vehicles. Washington has stepped up its drone operations in Yemen in recent months. The attacks have killed many people. The US says it\\\'s targeting al-Qaeda linked militants. But many Yemenis call this a violation of their sovereignty. The American drone strikes have killed large numbers of people in other Muslims countries, including Pakistan. The United Nations has condemned the US for using its drones for what the world body calls targeted killings.

UN human rights experts express serious concern about US drone attacks resulting in civilian casualties in Yemen.
The UN special rapporteur on extra-judicial, summary or arbitrary executions says Yemen cannot accept violations of people\\\'s right to life. This, as the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture also says that deadly attacks on illegitimate targets amount to cruel or degrading treatment. According to the world body, 16 civilians were killed when two separate wedding processions were targeted by US drones in Yemen on December 12. The UN says the victims were mistakenly identified as al-Qaeda members. The US think tank, New America Foundation says about a hundred drone strikes have killed some 9-hundred people in Yemen since 2002.

Saudi Arabia’s fresh bombardments across impoverished Yemen have left nearly thirty people dead.
The latest attacks on an area between the provinces of Shabwah and Ma’rib killed seventeen Yemenis. The attacks also mistakenly killed three forces loyal to fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi. Saudi jets pounded Abyan and Bayda provinces in the south, killing nearly a dozen people. There were several airstrikes on the provinces of Ta’izz and Amran, as well. Meanwhile, Yemen’s Ansarullah fighters and their allied army units launched retaliatory rocket attacks against Saudi military sites along the border. Ryiadh has been bombing Yemen for more than six months. Over 5100 Yemenis have lost their lives so far.
