A few years ago, the Arbaeen of Imam Husayn (A) in Karbala was faced with serious threats when ISIS terrorists started to attack the pilgrims and the shrine of Imam Husayn (A). The ISIS terrorists staged many suicidal attacks on the innocent civilians and threatened the security of the entire country of Iraq.
Martyr Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes was tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the safety and well-being of the pilgrims of Imam Husayn (A). Alongside with Iraqi Army, national guards, and police, Shaheed Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes brought Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) or the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) - also known as Al-Hashd al-Sha\'bi - into action and made sure that no attack is carried out against the lovers of Imam Husayn (A).
Al-Hashd al-Sha\'bi is comprised of selfless and brave Iraqi civilians who not only secured the shrine and pilgrims of Imam Husayn (A) but also uprooted the evil project of the United States of America in this region - called ISIS.
This documentary features the special security arrangements, medical facilities, medical camps and logistic support that Al-Hashd al-Sha\'bi provided for the Arbaeen of Imam Husayn (A).
Outraged against this brave commander of Islam, the United States of America cowardly targeted him and his friend Gen. Qasem Soleimani using an airstrike. They both embraced Shahadat on Jan 3, 2020.
May Allah\'s peace and blessings on these role models and heroes of Islam.

Fuel prices raised in Iran and some came out to protest against it. In no time, violent and armed elements took over this peaceful protest. They started to burn buildings, cars, ambulances, public properties and endangered public lives.
How did the general Iranian public respond to this plan of the enemies? Millions of civilians staged a response protest and foiled the plans of the enemies. The Leader appreciates the vigilance of Iranians in yet another trial.

Leader Met with Families of Soldiers Martyred at battle against ISIS - 26 June 2016 - Farsi

While in a meeting with families belonging to those martyred on June 28th and military advisers martyred, in a battle against ISIS, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated the following: In an asymmetrical war, which has been launched against Iran, the immense power that arises from belief in God and jihad is not understood by the enemy. They created ISIS to defeat the Islamic Republic of Iran: Iraq and the region of Levant were prefaces staged to bring Iran down; however, the power of the Islamic Republic brought them down. One who fights in the name of defending the progeny of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)- who is actually defending his society or city is defending Iran.
On another note, Ayatollah Khamenei made the following observations regarding conflict in Bahrain: “In Bahrain there is an authoritarian and egotistic minority oppressing a majority. And now they are attacking the perseverant and knowledgeable scholar Sheikh Isa Qassim; this is blatant foolishness and insanity. Sheikh Isa is the type of man who would prevent extremist tactics. Therefore, these illogical individuals do not understand that by removing Sheikh Isa Qassim they are removing obstacles from the Bahraini, enthusiastic, youth against the regime. Now, no obstacle can prevent these young enthusiasts from rising up.
Ayatollah Khamenei stated: “Whenever and wherever we relied on the revolutionary spirit we progressed. Whenever we withdrew from our values and suppressed our voice, to please the imperialist powers, we remained undeveloped. The path towards progress is reviving the revolutionary spirit and striving for the sake of God.”

Thousands of people have staged a rally in the streets of the Jordanian capital Amman to protest against a planned visit by the US Secretary of State. The protesters also expressed anger at the so-called peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
The protesters came from Arab nationalist groups and Jordanian tribes. They chanted anti-US slogans and called on Palestinian groups to reject the so-called peace process. They demanded Jordan\'s king Abdullah to annul the 1994 peace treaty between Israel and Jordan. The protest comes as the US Secretary of State has been trying to push Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Acting Palestinian Authority Chief Mahmoud Abbas to accept a deal over occupied territories.

Fresh anti-government protests are underway in Egypt, a day after deadly clashes between police and demonstrators.
One student protester has been killed in the capital Cairo. Clashes broke out after students in Al-Azhar University staged a protest against the military-installed government. They even set the Faculty of Commerce on fire. On Friday, five people were killed as police fired tear gas and birdshots at protesters. The opposition Anti-Coup Alliance-- led by the Muslim Brotherhood, has now called for seven days of street protests. Thousands of Egyptians took to the streets of Cairo and elsewhere around the country to denounce what the protesters label \'the coup\'s constitution.
On Tuesday, more than a dozen students were injured as Morsi supporters staged protests against the military backed authorities. Police fired tear gas at students protesting outside Assiut University in Assuit province in Upper Egypt. Students held banners in support of Mohamed Morsi as they shouted anti police and army slogans. Such demonstrations are regarded as illegal, since they do not conform to a new law requiring organizers to give three days notice of a protest and to have it approved by the government. On another front, the Anti Coup Alliance said that the coalition will be boycotting the referendum which is set to take place next month. Many are fearful that Egypt would be gripped by another wave of deadly violence ahead of the referendum on what some call a disputed constitution.

Russia has repeated its allegations that foreign-backed insurgents in Syria were behind the chemical weapons attacks in the country. Russia\'s UN ambassador says the US has provided no proof that the Syrian government was involved in the attacks.
Vitaly Churkin said that the claims that the Syrian government carried out the chemical weapons attacks are not persuasive. He added that Moscow views last August\'s deadly sarin gas attack outside Damascus as a provocation by the militants. The remarks came after a closed-door meeting on a UN investigation into the chemical weapons attacks in Syria. At the meeting, Russia and Western nations remained at loggerheads over who is to blame for the attacks. But UN experts recently said they have credible information that chemical weapons were used against the Syrian army and civilians. However, the U-N report has not determined whether the Syrian government or foreign-backed insurgents were responsible for the attacks.
