Salam Alaykum masha\\\\\\\'Allah an amazing first experience of SoQ family\\\\\\\'s outdoor rally. May Allah accept it from all of you volunteers and participants who worked tirelessly to make it happen. Thank you for responding to the call. May Allah bless you.
May the blood of the Shuhada be a witness to our sincere efforts. Honestly, it was more effective than we imagined it to be. Jazak Allah to all the SoQ team members who were supportive of the idea and pushed for us to go out.
The overall impact of our presence as international students was very positive. It was fascinating to see how the Iranians were filming our rally and taking pictures of the banner and placards. Countless Iranians approached us and praised this initiative.
Insha\\\\\\\'Allah anti-God powers and especially the Shaytan e Akbar is going to be bothered by what we did today.
Insha\\\\\\\'Allah Imam Zaman (A) and his deputy Imam Khamenei be proud of you all!

Salam Alaykum!
Congratulations on the victory of the Islamic Revolution. Congratulations on this great Eid. It is a day that made the Ahlulbayt (A)\\\'s heart happy. It is a day when Truth prevailed over falsehood. It is a day when the Islamic System of Wilayatul Faqih got implemented in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Today, this System is indeed paving the ground for the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (ATFS). Congratulations to all the believers!
We would like to thank you for your remarkable and effective presence in the 22 Bahman Rally today. Jazak-Allah for joining the SoQ team and walk together to join the Main Rally in Qom. May Allah accept from you attendees, participants, and our volunteers who worked tirelessly to make it happen.
May the blood of the Shuhada be a witness to our sincere efforts. Once again, it was more effective than we initially imagined it to be. Alhamdolillah.
The overall impact of our presence as English speaking international students was very positive. It was fascinating to see how the Iranians engaged with our relatively small but effective group. The effectiveness of joining as a group becomes obvious when one observes so many local Iranians taking pictures and filming our rally, the main banner, and the placards in English that you were holding.
It was refreshing to see so many Iranian men, women, and youth approaching us and praising this initiative. Masha\\\'Allah so many Islamic scholars stopped by, appreciated, and gave duaas to this multicultural and multiethnic English speaking group of participants. We had participants from Nigeria, Bangladesh, Philippines, Ireland, United States, Pakistan, United Kingdom, Kashmir, Sweden, DarusSalam, India, Afghanistan, Canada, and of course Iran - to name a few. The support of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic System of Wilayatul Faqih is global. Alhamdolillah.
Insha\\\'Allah, the anti-God powers and especially the Shaytan al-Akbar is going to be bothered by what we did today.
Insha\\\'Allah, Imam al-Mahdi (A) and his deputy Imam Khamenei be proud of you all! May Allah accept it.

A senior member of the Saudi royal family says Riyadh will continue arming insurgents in Syria until the so-called Geneva-Two conference.
The former director general of Saudi Arabia\'s intelligence agency says he believes the peace conference will not yield sustainable results as long as the battle between the two sides remains disproportional. Turki Al Faisal also sharply criticized Washington\'s policy on Syria. Under a US-Russian-led initiative, the Syrian government and the insurgents in Syria are scheduled to attend peace talks in Geneva on January 22.

An Arab League delegation visited Washington and stated that the Arabs would agree to a resolution of the Arab Israeli conflict based on a return to the 1967 borders with mutually agreed swaps.
Meanwhile resistance movements including Hamas have rejected, while Netanyahu himself hasn\'t shown enthusiasm.
Is there some kind of deal taking place whereby the US will respond to the ongoing Arab calls to get more involved militarily in Syria on condition that Arabs on their side make this latest gesture to Israel?

Hundreds of people marched at the entrance of al-Yarmuk refugee camp in Damascus in an attempt to reach out to their sick relatives. They were hoping for a successful outcome of an initiative launched by several Syria-based Palestinian factions to evacuate over three hundred sick people trapped inside the camp. But anxious relatives failed to meet their loved ones.
Red Crescent teams were ordered to retreat as armed groups opened gunfire at the humanitarian groups who tried to help the sick out, causing the initiative to fail. This is not the first such initiative to fail. Previously, several armed extremist groups such as the al-Qaeda linked al-Nusra Front foiled peace initiatives and remained occupying the camp. In 2012, tens of civilians were killed and thousands of others displaced after foreign-backed militants targeted the same refugee camp. According to the doctors in charge of following up the initiative, dozens of sick people remain trapped inside al-Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus. With the lack of basic needs inside, many families here see no end to the humanitarian crisis in the near future.

Iran’s leader has urged Muslims to grasp the opportunity provided by the annual Hajj pilgrimage to denounce the main enemy of Islam, namely the United States.
In a message to Hajj pilgrims, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said repudiating the US and its allies means refusing the arrogant behavior of aggressive and seditious powers against dignified behavior recommended by Islam. Iran’s leader also warned that the US is pushing for its so-called deal of the century initiative against the Palestinian people. He described the US plan as a crime against the world.

The coalition of peaceful change forces in Syria held a press conference in the Syrian capital Damascus, affirming the need to multiply efforts for bringing all Syrian sides together on the table of dialogue. A number of political parties, movements and committees issued a statement and welcomed the Russian American initiative that calls for a political resolution of conflict. The coalition said a political solution should be based on ending violence by all sides, rejecting the militarization of the unrest. The Syrian government had also welcomed the agreement between Russia and the US on the basis that it seeks a political solution for the Syrian dilemma.

Ten international human rights groups have written to the United Nations about the torture of journalists in Bahrain.
The letter, signed by the Media Legal Defense Initiative and the International Federation for Human Rights, among others, has been sent to U-N special rapporteurs Frank La Rue and Juan Méndez. The rights groups have called for an investigation into the arrest, detention, and torture of Mohamed Hassan, Hussain Hubail, and Qassim Zain al-Deen. All three journalists were arrested in August and face trial on charges related to their reporting on the anti-regime demonstrations. Thousands of people, including rights activists and journalists, have been detained and tortured since the uprising began in Bahrain in 2011. Russia says the aim of the Geneva Two conference is NOT seeking regime change in Syria.
According to Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the main objective of the conference is in fact to launch an inter-Syrian dialog. He added that the issue of the ouster of the Syrian government is not part of the original US-Russian initiative. Lavrov also lashed out at the UN decision to withdraw Iran\'s invitation to Syria talks as a mistake. He made it clear that the decision however will not affect Iran\'s efforts in fighting terrorism. The Russian foreign minister said the future of Syria must be determined by both the government and the opposition.

The Syria peace talks or the Geneva TWO conference remains in doubt amid wrangling between foreign-backed opposition groups.
Arab League Chief Nabil al-Arabi has announced that the Geneva conference will be held on November 23. But the UN-Arab league envoy has refused to announce a date. Lakhdar Brahimi-- who\'s on a tour of the Middle East to drum up support for the initiative-- says the talks can only be held if a credible opposition takes part in it. The remarks were in reference to a growing rift among foreign-backed opposition factions. The so-called Syrian National Coalition says a decision whether to attend the talks would be taken in the coming days. But, it remains unclear whether it can enforce any agreement as dozens of militant groups have recently rejected the umbrella group as their representative.
