Talking with your kids can sometimes be difficult. Try Words and Phrases to Use at Least Once a Day, Talking at Dinnertime, Boosting Your Child\'s Confidence, Praising Your Child. Tell him/her how much you love them and how important you think it is that you communicate with and respect each other. You have to gain your child\'s trust and attention. Make your goal one of understanding what and how your child thinks. By knowing what your child thinks, you can better influence how he or she thinks. This simple PLAN will help you communicate more effectively. Listen with respect. Avoid interrupting with your own advice. If you interrupt, your child may shut down and only tell you what you want to hear. Then you\'ll be stuck where you started - not knowing what or how your child really thinks.

In this session Agha Hassan Mujtaba Rizvi describes how to communite with parents, A youth must always keep in mind that they are your parents and that you have to respect them. If you made a mistake, recognize it, admit it, and apologize. If they did something wrong to you point it out to them without getting loud or disrespect them in any way and explain to them the things which they did wrong and how it made you feel. Listen to what they have to say because parents are wiser at things and are always trying to protect us even though it might hurt you. Put yourself in their shoes and when talking to them don\'t say anything which might be held against you. Don\'t let your anger put down your character. communicate with your parents, don\'t let the day end without getting to an agreement and make sure that the agreement enhances yourself, as well as your parents. Keep your promise, let it all go ,tell your parents how much you love them. communication is the key to a better relationship.
