What can I do not to sin? What can I do to fear God? In order to be religious, people should first be trained to have a program and to plan. Help him or her to understand that we have to be disciplined. We must plan in addition to being disciplined, so that we can manage our own lives. They have told us repeatedly about this fact in the traditions that discipline is first.
You prove God to me a hundred times, and I still donât listen to him. You prove the Hereafter and other things too, and I still donât obey, because my will has become stubborn. I canât listen! I havenât been disciplined.
If we want to convince someone not to sin, the first step is to convince him that he canât live without a program. Being without a program means being passive. A passive person doesnât get up until heâs kicked. God hasnât brought Hell to kick him now! Itâs for later. So, he doesnât do anything! Heâll only get up if heâs kicked!
His temperament is such that his life is without any program. He does things when heâs forced to, threatened, encouraged, or someone is standing over his head. He doesnât know how to live based on a program at all! If you keep telling him about Hell, itâs useless! This Hell isnât now. Itâs later on. This undisciplined person without any program wonât move himself because of a future Hell. Heâll move whenever heâs kicked. An undisciplined person wonât move himself because of a future Hell.
If my child doesnât pray, what can I do to get him or her to pray? Iâm confused and donât know what to do. Where should I start? Have you taught your child the key, necessary element in life, which is discipline? We ill-manneredly eat, say Salam, sleep, wake up, walk, dress... Ill-mannered, ill-mannered, ill-mannered! If a child isnât disciplined, can you turn him into a disciplined person?
Itâs easy to add one or two etiquettes to a disciplined person. He observes the etiquettes about neighbors, about sleeping and being awake, about his own room, and about other things. Itâs not hard if you add a couple more etiquettes. He says, âWhat should I do?â âObserve the etiquettes about the Lord.â âWhat are they?â âStand like this and say âAllahu Akbar.â Donât move for five minutes. Prostrate. Bend. Stand up. These are its etiquettes.â Heâll understand and do it. Itâs not hard.
Itâs hard for the child who has no discipline in his house. Thereâs kindness, but no discipline. Thereâs belief in God, but no discipline. Thereâs spirituality, but no discipline. It wonât work with just these! Iâm not talking about whether dancing is forbidden, or not. Whether vulgar songs are vulgar, or not. Or, from what age should we teach children the differences between genders? Iâm not talking about Islamic covering and other such things.
People who donât want discipline for children in Elementary Schools are criminals. The argument is not over religion! Everyone needs a plan to live. And, this planning should be in a personâs blood. For planning to be in a personâs blood, he or she must have been disciplined in childhood. This discipline may be that of the Communists, the East, or the West. But, there should be discipline! The politicians who advocate unruliness in the education environment are criminals.
In order to convince someone not to sin, we must first convince them that we cannot live without a program. Why do you talk to a person about religion when he\'s not used to living with a program? Itâs easy to add one or two etiquettes to a disciplined person. He says, âWhat should I do?â âObserve the etiquettes about the Lord.â âWhat are they?â âStand like this and say âAllahu Akbar.â Donât move for five minutes. Prostrate. Bend. Stand up. What does God look like
âHave you seen God?â Who likes to see God, sense Him, and live with Him? Where is God so that I can see Him, find Him, smell Him, and fall in love with Him? No one says to believe in a God Who canât be seen. No one says to fall in love with a God Who canât be seen. Is it possible to fall in love with such a God? What should I love? Whoever wants to see God, he can only see Him in one situation. Look at God as the examiner in your life.
There is no need for you to see an object or imagine Him in your imagination. Just pay attention to this fact that God is testing you. As soon as a problem occurs, ask God, âGod, is it a test?â Talk to Him! He is talking to you through the language of testing. I swear to God youâll understand His behaviour. Youâll understand His smiling and frowning. You will understand His pouting and reconciliation. Youâll understand from which of your actions He has become happy. Youâll understand why He loves you. Youâll understand how much He loves you. Then, when you start praying, youâll understand to Whom you are talking! There is Someone in front of you!
God says, âYou donât need to see Me. I work with you. Understand that whatever happens to you from morning until night is Me talking to you in the language of incidents.â As soon as someone is kind to you, say, âGod, You wanted someone to be kind to me?â
If you look, youâll understand the reason. In the beginning you wonât. Youâll say, âGod, You wanted someone to be kind to me? Why? I donât understand. But You tested me!â When someone frowns at you, say, âGod, You wanted someone to frown at me? Had I become rude? Was I arrogant?â Heâll easily talk to you. Heâll talk to you even better than your friends do. Heâll become your companion. Youâll start loving Him.
Actually, I didnât ask you a question. And, you didnât say anything about it. I donât know how Iâm talking, or I should say who Iâm talking to. My friends, answer a question. Do you believe that each incident, which happens around us from morning until night, is accidental? Yes? Please, everyone answer. Does everyone say no? Is it accidental? Were they all designed by God? âYes!â All of them? Do you believe that? Why were they designed? To have fun? For us to circle around ourselves? Are all of them tests, or not? âYes!â What good answers you give!
Now, another question. Do we look at all of the incidents, which happen from morning until night, as tests? Good! May I be sacrificed for you. Youâre seeing it yourself. Then he says, âSir, what should I do to pay attention to God in praying?â âMy dear, you canât pay attention to God.â
He says, âIâm constantly distracted.â Have you ever seen God? Have you lived with Him for even two days? They have even stated the number in the traditions. If you live like this for forty days, everything around you will talk to you. The ground and the sky will talk to you!
Living with God means that you understand the language of Godâs tests. Look what He wants from you at each moment. Look! What does He want from you now? He brings up an incident. Suddenly your wife gets upset and grumbles. Look at God and ask, âIs my capacity supposed to be tested?â Your friend invites you to sin. Look at God, âGod, is it a test? I canât tolerate it.â Cry right then. Say, âGod, I swear to Husayn (âa) I canât tolerate it. Donât send these friends. Send other friends. Send friends who take me to Medina and Karbala.â Say this a few times. The next week one of your friends will come and tell you, âIâm going to Karbala. Will you come with me?â Look at God and say, âGod, how quickly You hear me!â

[22 June 2012] Egypt What is happening And what should happen Comment - English
Thousands of angry Egyptians have camped out in the historic square since Wednesday, calling on the military council to quit power immediately as the electoral authorities delayed the announcement of the final results of the presidential run-off on Thursday as scheduled. Egypt's election committee said on Wednesday they want to look into all complaints from the two candidates before making an announcement. The protesters say the move could be a sign that the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) is trying to declare former premier Ahmed Shafiq the winner.
Egyptians cast their ballots in a two-day presidential runoff election on June 16 and 17, which pitted the candidate of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party, Mohammed Morsi, against Shafiq. On June 18, a member of the Egyptian Electoral Committee confirmed that Morsi is in the lead in the country's run-off presidential election. Early on the day, the Brotherhood had declared Morsi's victory over Shafiq in the voting. Officials from the group had said that Morsi has won 52.5 percent of the counted ballots.

What is a moderate terrorist? Perhaps Washington and its allies can be asked this question as on the one hand the United States says it condemns terrorism while at the same time it sends more support to those in Syria who Russian President Vladimir Putin labeled as organ eaters. This, while new footage has surfaced of members of an insurgent group fighting the government in Damascus, cutting off the head of a supporter of the government, while others clap and film it. If this isn\'t terrorism, then what is? We will take a look at the west\'s support for terrorism in Syria on this The Debate.

[24 May 2012] What is view of Islam on building Christian churches in Muslim lands - English
A recent fatwa issued by a Wahhabi mufti calls for destruction of all churches in the Arabian Peninsula. He issued the fatwa in late March 2012 in response to a Kuwaiti lawmaker who asked if Kuwait could ban church construction in Kuwait. The fatwa paves the way for adding an article to the new Kuwaiti constitution that forbids building of new churches. Ahl al-Bait assembly condemns the fatwa saying that it is contrary to both Shia and Sunni traditions, and has no precedence in Islamic jurisprudential schools.
The assembly also slams the "deadly silence" of Muslim scholars in the face of such fatwa that distort the image of Islam. It also criticizes international human right organizations as well as Western and Christian governments for their support of Saudi regime and Wahhabi doctrine. The chairman of a group of European Catholic Bishops slams the Saudi Mufti by saying that his fatwa "shows no respect for the religious freedom and free co-existence of religions". This week's Islam and Life asks: What is the view of Islam on building Christian churches in Muslim lands?
