Violence once again sweeps through Iraq, as SEVERAL soldiers were killed in pre-dawn attacks against their encampment guarding an oil pipeline in Northern Iraq.
The style of attack mirrored another incident which took place in recent days in the town of Tuz Kharmatu where 6 police officers were executed by militants. Many claim the recent wave of violence in Iraq is the worst the country has seen in years. Political analyst Hamze Mustapha says the situation can not be contained by the army alone. Violence intensified in Iraq in recent weeks as foreign backed militants attempted to take over the cities of Fallujah and Ramadi in Anbar province.

A newly-released poll shows many people in Arab states view Israel and the U-S as the greatest threats to their countries.
According to the survey by the French polling institute, Socio-vision, about forty percent of people in the Arab world view Israel as the most vicious threat against them. 15 percent of those polled said the US posed the greatest threat. This comes despite Washington and Tel Aviv\'s attempts to portray a negative image of Iran in the eyes of regional Arab nations. The poll was conducted in 12 Arab states in January.

FUNDRAISING APPEAL: BE A DONOR FOR THIS GROUND-BREAKING DOCUMENTARY - WHY CAN\'T I BE SUSHI!
AIM is requesting your financial support for this great documentary being produced called \'Why Can\'t I be Sushi\'.
Produced and directed by Hoda Elsoudani, it is a documentary following the journey of 2 extremely articulate young girls - Niamh (age10) and Sofia (age 8) who are curious about the on going sectarian conflicts amongst muslims - It reveals their journey as they seek answers to why a growing number of people are becoming extremists and showing support for radical groups like ISIS.
By addressing the issue through the eyes of a child this will clarify the subject and bring back historical routes in a positive light where violence and aggression has no place in a difference of opinion.
With the aim of uniting Muslims through love, compassion & understanding, especially after the recent events In Iraq and Syria; this documentary aims to bring awareness, promote peace, break down barriers, challenges stereotypes and encourages unity

During a televised speech delivered late on Friday, Nasrallah denounced Saudi-led coalition attacks on Yemen, which began on Thursday, saying that the real reason for the airstrikes is that Saudi Arabia has lost its domination on the impoverished country.
“Saudi war is aimed at regaining the domination of Yemen” he noted.
Saudis try to justify their attacks by saying that the situation in Yemen threatens the security in the region, Nasrallah stated, adding that such justifications are false and baseless.
The Hezbollah chief stressed that the countries in the coalition did not take any measures against revolutionaries in the countries like Tunisia and Egypt during the Islamic Awakening movement in the Middle East and Africa, but used the situation in Yemen as an excuse to wage a bloody war on the country.
