“It was I” said the frog
Two geese were about to go south for their annual Autumn
migration, when a frog came up to them and asked if they
would take him with them.
The geese agreed if the frog could work out how he would be
carried by them. The frog produced a long stalk of grass, got
the two geese to hold each end whilst he clung to it\'s middle
with his mouth.
In this manner the three were making their journey when they
were noticed from below by some men.
The men expressed their admiration for the device and wondered who had been clever enough to discover it.
As soon as the frog heard them he opened his mouth and said
\"It was I!\" He lost his hold and fell to the earth.
The Prophet (pbuh):
\"Even if you do not commit any sins, I fear that you may fall

A political analyst says the Syrian government has the legal right to target the US military and intelligence drones operating over Syria, Press TV reports.
“Syria has the right to use military capability to disturb this mission and even to attack those aircraft,” said Hisham Jaber, the director of Center for Middle East Studies in an interview with Press TV on Saturday.
He made the comment after NBC News claimed earlier that the US military has dispatched a “good number” of unmanned drones for operations in Syrian airspace to monitor “the Syrian military attacks against opposition forces and civilians.”
“They [the Syrian government] can sue them [the US] before the international court,” Jaber added.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March 2011. Hundreds of people, including many Syrian security forces, have been killed in the course of the turmoil.
Damascus blames “outlaws, saboteurs and armed terrorist groups” for the unrest, insisting that it is being orchestrated from abroad. The West and the Syrian opposition, however, accuse the government of killing the protesters

Leader denounces any moves satisfying enemies (2011/04/30 - 16:21)
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said on Saturday that any moves that might satisfy the enemies or disappoint friends should be avoided.
Islamic Revolution Leader made the remark in a meeting with members of the High Council of Mayors, on Saturday.
Ayatollah Khamenei lauded the grave responsibilities of Islamic councils in urban and rural areas and said the will of God is with the convergence of people in handling the affairs.
Relying on and respecting the ideas of people is a source of pride for the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei said.
"Guardian Council is the only reliable body to interpret Islamic law," Islamic Revolution Leader said while defining the duties of the Islamic city and village councils.
Underlining the significant role of city and village councils, the Islamic Revolution Leader said these councils are accountable to people irrespective of geographical or cultural differences.
"Under the blessing of Islam, we have maintained our Iranian identity and this should be demonstrated by rendering services to people in both urban and rural areas," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
"Any disharmony or negative competition would be harmful to the country," Ayatollah Khamenei said.

The 23rd anniversary of the passing away of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini.
Iranians from all walks of life gathered at his mausoleum southern Tehran to mark the occasion.
Multitudes of mourners, among them Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians as well as foreign guests, gathered at Imam Khomeini\\\'s mausoleum to pay respect to a man, who changed history by overthrowing the Shah-regime back in 1979.
leader of Iran\\\'s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei addressing a large crowd of mourners in a keynote speech hailed the role of the founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini in restoring national dignity to the Iranian nation. He said Imam Khomeini set the stage for the progress and prosperity of the country. Elsewhere in his remarks Ayatollah Khamenei said the U-S and its allies are exaggerating the issue of Tehran\\\'s nuclear program and that the U-S-led sanctions against Iran have been counterproductive.
Meanwhile, the leader rejected Israeli threats of military strike against Iran as a sign of the regime\\\'s weakness and warned of the repercussions of any wrong action.
Ayatollah Khamenei also referred to the recent revolutions in the region and said the revolutionary nations are seeking dignity, freedom and social justice through Islamic values. He cautioned against plots by the U-S and its allies to undermine the wave of Islamic awakening that is sweeping across the region.
As the leader of the Islamic revolution Ayatollah Khamenei has once said Imam Khomeini was a reality and reality never dies.

Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin earlier said any proposals including an arms embargo or a demand for Assads resignation would be vetoed.
The United Nations Security Council has just voted on a draft resolution concerning the ongoing violence in Syria. Of the voting members Russia and China were the only ones to vote against the draft but as permanent members of the UNSC they both hold veto power, and the resolution has not been passed as a result
A political analyst says the United States and NATO are preparing the grounds for a military intervention in Syria under the pretext of "humanitarian grounds."
"A US-NATO led intervention, which would inevitably involve Israel, is already on the drawing board of the Pentagon," Michel Chossudovsky wrote in an article published on Global Research.
The author said a report conducted by the Arab League observer mission in Syria dispelled the mainstream media lies and fabrications, used by Washington to push for "regime change" in the country.
"[The Arab League mission] was also pressured into upholding the lies and fabrications of the mainstream media, which have been used to demonize the government of Bashar al-Assad," Chossudovsky said.

Khan Sa\'id has been chosen as the new leader of pro-Taliban militants in Pakistan.
The militants\' number-two commander was promoted to the group\'s leader after former chief, Hakimullah Mehsud, was killed in a US drone strike on Friday. Pierre Mosco-vici said the visit is QUOTE a bet on the future and not about doing business as usual. His comments came in response to the US Secretary of State\'s recent complaint. Only days ago, John Kerry said the French delegation\'s visit to Iran was not helpful in sending the message to Tehran that it\'s not business as usual.
