This is a ‘meccan’ sūrah. Abu Lahab, literally \"the father of flame\", was the nickname of Abul Uzza, an uncle of the Holy Prophet (saw), and a bitter and fiery opponent of Islam and the Holy Prophet (saw).
At the “daawat dhil ashira” in which he flared up and shouted at the Holy Prophet (saw), saying: \"Perdition to you\". He made it his business to torment the Holy Prophet (saw); and his wife, Umm Jumail, sister of Abu Sufiyan, took pleasure in carrying thorny bushes and strewing them in the sand where she knew that the Holy Prophet (saw) was sure to walk barefooted, because of which she is referred to as the bearer of the wood. Abu Lahab used to persuade the people to throw stones at the Holy Prophet (saw), whenever he passed the streets of Makkah, by telling them that he was a mad man. The two hands he used to throw stones at the Holy Prophet (saw) are cursed. The two hands of Abu Lahab may also refer to the evil deeds he had sent forth which condemns him to suffer severest punishment till eternity. Neither his wealth nor his supporters will be able to save him from the blazing fire. A week after the battle of Badr, Abu Lahab perished, consumed with grief and his own fiery passions. The angel of death strangled his wife with the rope she used to wear around her neck. On the day of judgement the fire of punishment like a rope of iron strongly twisted will be put on her neck. It is narrated that recitation of this sūrah is good for relieving back pains and reciting it before sleeping keeps one safe in the night.

Sharafi - the second secretary of the Iranian embassy in Baghdad - was abducted in southeastern Baghdad on February 4 by a group connected to the Iraqi Defense Ministry which operates under the supervision of the U.S. forces in Iraq. He was released on April 3. In the hospital where Sharafi was also visited by Iraq ambassador to Tehran -Mohamed Majid Al-Sheikh- Stoeker observed holes drilled in Sharafis feet fractures of the nose and neck - some deep bruises on his back - and evidence of a tear to his ear drum and bleeding in the alimentary canal. Sharafi told the Red Cross representative that he had undergone horrific torturing during the first 15 days of his arrest. He was later transferred by an ambulance on a wheelchair to the Foreign Ministry building to attend a news conference with the domestic and foreign reporters and photographers.He told the reporters that during his captivity - he was repeatedly tortured and interrogated about Irans role in Iraq. 2442. It is haraam for man to look at the body or hair of the Non-Mahram women, regardless of whether it is with the intention of pleasure or not, and whether there is a fear of falling into sinful act or not. It is also haraam to look at the faces and the arms, upto the wrists, of such women with the intention of pleasure, or if there is fear of falling into sinful act, and the recommended precaution is that one should not look at their faces or arms even without such an intention.
Similarly, it is haraam for a woman to look at the body of Non-Mahram man, except places which are customarily not covered, like, his face, hands, head, neck and feet. She can look at these parts of a man without the intention of deriving any pleasure, or if there is no fear of being entrapped in any sinful act.
2443. To look at the body of a woman who would not care for Hijab, even if she were advised, is not haraam, provided that it does not lead to sinful act or sexual pleasure, and excitement, nor is it with that intention; and in this rule, there is no distinction between a Muslim and a non-Muslim woman; and also between those parts, like their faces, their hands which they normally do not cover, and other parts of their bodies.
2444. Woman should conceal her body and hair from a man who is non-Mahram, and as an obligatory precaution, she should conceal herself even from a Na-baligh boy who is able to discern between good and evil, and could probably be sexually excited. But she can leave her face and hands upto wrists uncovered in the presence of Na-Mahram, as long as it does not lead him to casting a sinful, evil glance or her to doing something forbidden; for in both these cases, she must cover them.
2445. It is haraam to look at the private parts of a baligh Muslim, even if it is seen behind the glass or reflected in the mirror, or clean water etc. As an obligatory precaution, it is also haraam to look at the genitals of a non-Muslim, and of a discerning Na-baligh child. However, wife and her husband can look at the entire body of each other.
2446. If a man and woman who are Mahram of each other, do not have the intention of sexual pleasure, they can see the entire body of each other excepting the private parts.
2447. A man should not look at the body of another man with the intention of sexual excitement, and also, it is haraam for a woman to look at the body of another woman with the intention of sexual excitement.
2448. A man who is acquainted with a Na-Mahram woman, should not, as a precaution, look at her photograph etc., provided that the woman is not a heedless, commonplace person.
2449. If a woman wants to give an enema to another woman, or to a man other than her husband, or to clean her/his private parts with water, she should cover her hand with such a thing that her hand would not touch the private parts of the other woman or man. And the same applies to a man who wants to give an enema to another man or a woman other than his wife, or to clean his/her private parts with water.
2450. If a woman is rendered helpless by her disease, and if the only helpful treatment to her can be given by a male doctor, she can refer to him. And if that male doctor must look at her to be able to treat her, or to touch her for that matter, there is no objection. However, if he can treat her by looking at her, he should not touch her body, and if he can treat her by touching her body, he should not look at her.
2451. If a person is obliged to look at the private parts of a patient for his/her medical treatment, he should, on the basis of obligatory precaution, place a mirror opposite him/her and look into it.
However, if there is no alternative but to look directly at his/her private parts, there is no objection. Similarly, if the duration of regarding the genitals in the mirror would be longer than looking at them directly, the latter method be adopted.

Turkey's smear campaign against the Syrian government is much worse than the propaganda spread by Arab media to tarnish the image of Damascus with regards to its recent unrest.
While Syrian officials and residents of crisis-hit Syrian regions have repeatedly said that armed groups are responsible for the deadly clashes in the country, Turkey has tried to portray Iran and the Lebanese Resistance Movement, Hezbollah, as being behind the unrest in Syria and that they help Damascus quell protests.
The Turkish NTV news channel recently claimed that the Syrian soldiers who refused to open fire on protesters were shot dead by their commanders.
The broadcaster reported that a Syrian soldier taking refuge in the country says that he and his comrades were trying to avoid hurting protesters by firing warning shots, but those who refused to open fire on protesters were shot dead.
"I've seen Iranians and Hezbollah operators giving instructions to shoot, and those who refused were immediately shot dead," the alleged fugitive Syrian soldier told NTV, adding that the soldiers were mostly shot from behind or in the neck.
The Turkish broadcaster has also claimed that Syrian forces have opened fire on unarmed civilians in al-Rastan.
"We opened fire on everyone, the young, the old... Women were raped in front of their husbands and children," the army defector told NTV.
Political analysts in Middle East affairs have accused Ankara of playing a double game -- claiming to support the Damascus government in order to have greater influence in the Middle East, while at the same time supporting and providing a safe haven for armed gangs seeking to incite revolt in Syria.
Iranian analyst Hadi Mohammadi says that the United States has now formed operational headquarters in southern Turkey close to the border with Syria to direct the riots in the Arab country after its attempts to cause unrest in southern Syria were unsuccessful.
Mohammadi said that the United States has assigned Turkey to carry out its anti-Syria plan. It has hence provided aid to the Turkish Army to assist Syrian dissidents in crossing into Turkey and settle in tent villages set up in Turkey's Hatay Province.
Meanwhile, a mass grave with bodies of at least 10 Syrian security forces was discovered near the northwestern town of Jisr al-Shughour on Monday.
Syria's state TV says the victims were killed by armed gangs and the bodies bore marks of torture.
Heavy clashes were reported as troops and tanks moved into the city on Sunday and gunmen targeted civilian areas including a hospital.
The government says it entered the town to restore order after some 120 security forces were killed there about a week ago. People in Jisr al-Shughour gathered to thank government troops for protecting them against the gunmen.

Will you write my sorrows in Karbala with mere pen and ink?
Never! Grief can only be written in flowing tears
If my enemy surrounds me and shoots me with arrows
If my head, shoulders, and body must bear the strikes of swords
If a stone should strike my brow and cover my luminous face in blood
If instead of water, my cruel enemy gives fire
If I die a hundred times from my son’s burning fever
They wronged me, killed me, and forgot who I am
Until I lived in a world of grief and suffering
All the sorrows of the world have gathered here
By God, who willed me to suffer a hundred cuts
Two hundred spears and swords did not hurt my body
I will never take the hand of my oppressors or accept humiliation
Even if they bring all the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth to fight me

I did not break my pledge to worship God alone
I swear, I never worshipped anyone but God
I swear, I am the son of the Lion of God and the son of Fatima
An Arab, an Alid, from the line of the Quraysh, of the tree
The son of a veteran of Uhud and Badr, a son of Fatima, of the moon
I gave my everything, my seventy-two companions gave their lives
It is I with crimson face
It is I with blood gushing from my throat
It is I with thirst like a dagger
It is I with the grief of the youth
It is I in the dust of the desert
It is I beneath the horses\' hooves
I am beloved to God who guides
But in Karbala I am alone, stripped, and covered in dust
Strange that I should taste death while I am thirsty
Who is there to protect me, my beard dyed with blood?
I am here with severed veins and shredded heart
I am here with my little child, my thirsty infant
I am here with my imprisoned daughter
I am here with the Ever-Living, the Eternal One
Does anyone worship the Lord above as I do?
For I am the niche of the one for whom the blade came while he was in prayer
When my child was slain and by family taken captive, when my neck was cut
When I was slain thirsty beside the river’s waters
I am here with many wounds, I am here with the verses of the Qur’an
I am here with the parched tongues, I am here with the tips of the arrows
Let all come and see our stand, our nobility, and our dignity

Here all can see what became of me
Would the Prophet, the best of humankind
Be pleased by these claws tearing into Husayn?
By God, by the Messenger, by Ali son of Abi Talib, and by Zahra the Pure
And my brother Hasan al-Mujtaba, the paragon of virtue
My brother, how do you feel seeing the horses trample my chest?
And my seventy-two companions, my Habib, my Zuhayr, and my Tirmah
my John and Wahb, all of pure heart
By the dignity, the nobility, the sternness of Abbas
By Uthman and by Ja’far, by the two martyrs of Aqil
By the pure hearts of Abdallah and Qasim
By Ali Akbar and his pain, by Ali Asghar and his blood
The full moon beats its chest with both hands from grief
Shedding tears that flow like silver, crying out in lament
Broken-hearted, O my support, O my aspiration, O my beloved, O Husayn!

By the jasmine of Medina, by Ruqayya, by Sakina
By Zaynab’s stricken heart and her two martyred sons
By the dry lips of my little children
By the weary body of my beloved son Sajjad
I shall never flee from these oppressors
Nor shall I give allegiance or make peace with tyrants
My head is upon the spearhead in the way of God, speaking with the Beloved
I will bear the slings and arrows, for I swear I see nothing but God

By the Arab Prophet, the Messenger of Medina
And by his brother, the Lion of God called Ali
By Zahra the pure, by the mother of her father
And by his grandsons, his lion cubs, they are the scions of purity
By al-Sajjad, by al-Baqir, and by al-Sadiq, truly!
And by Musa, and Ali, and Taqi, and Naqi
And by the one imprisoned in Samarra and by God’s Authority who will rise up with the truth
Who will strike out with the sword to rule for eternity
And by Muhammad and Muhammad and by Ali and Ali

The quran says if you want to be in paradise, acquire the qualities of the people of paradise
You have to be people of compassion to be in paradise
When The Prophet was pelted by stones from non-muslims he would still make excuses for them, saying \"maybe their children will pray\"
The dua of the people of jannah is\"they made it to jannah, who did they give credit to, they say Allah is the one who guided us\"
To be among the inmates of jannah you have to acknowledge The Prophets as well
Don\'t be the one who seeks jannah without doing amal
The quran will keep giving you depending on your thirst of hiqmah
The people of paradise call out to the people of hell
The believers initiate the dialogue about the promise of Allah
We found the promise of our lord to be true
The conversation is a god centric conversation
The people of hell say:\"give us water\"
The people of hell fire still instead of asking Allah they still try to cheat the system
The people of hell still don\'t practise tawid
It\'s impossible that anything of heaven can be transported to hell
The Prophet says\"there will be people in paradise will say : how did you end up in hell. we used to invite people to goodness but we never practiced\"
Always practise what you preach
Pray the namaz on time and Allah will give you the tawfiq to wake up for fajr
Practice what you know and Allah will give you more
True knowledge is a light
Some people have hiqmah by just obeying Allah
Fatimah zahra s.a has all the qualities as mentioned above
Fatimah is the host of paradise
Surah yunus says \" the dua of the people of jannah is tasbeeh and greet each other with salam, they end every transaction with taween\"
Allah give more reward to the humble than the arrogant
Tasbeeh is much more comprehensive than you think
Tasbeeh isn\'t just verbal
Allah says\"go to pharaoh for he has transgressed\"
The dua of Musa is\"help me change myself and help me overcome my shortcomings\"
Allah says \"do all of this so me and Aron can doo tasbeeh\"

When Yunus was in the belly of the whale Allah says \"the only reason I saved Yunus is because he did tasbeeh\"
