This year\'s Thanksgiving travel may not be easy for many Americans, with a winter-storm in the Southwest now heading to the US East Coast.
Freezing temperatures have already brought snow, sleet and rain to the Southwest. At least 13 people died in storm-related incidents in Oklahoma, Texas, California, New Mexico and Arizona over the weekend. Hundreds of flights have already been canceled. And forecasters are warning of more flight delays and icy roads as the storm\'s heading eastward, bringing heavy rain over the next two days. Millions of Americans are expected to hit the roads for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday.

That well known candy-house in the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale has captured the imagination of many of us when we were children. And now the world\'s largest-ever gingerbread house is bringing back those memories.
The tasty house is located in the US state of Texas and it\'s nearly the size of a tennis court. And of course it has an edible exterior. This house was built by a group of volunteers, all in the name of charity. And now it holds the Guinness World Record for the world\'s largest gingerbread house. The group used thousands of pounds of sugar, eggs, butter, flour and other ingredients, as well as 23 thousand pieces of hard candy, decorating the outside of the house. But you might want to think twice before grabbing a bite as the structure packs in a staggering 36 million calories. Better to look, and not touch!

The United States and Britain are already under fire for the Iraq war, with many British and American troops accused of committing war crimes during the invasion. Now after nearly 11 years, shocking photos have emerged showing the extent of the crimes. Viewer discretion is advised. The following pictures contain very disturbing images. The shocking photos - reportedly taken in the city of Fallujah in 2004 - have been obtained by the website T-M-Z. They show American soldiers burning the remains of dead Iraqis and then posing for pictures with their skeletons. According to the website, the photographs were turned over to the US Department of Defense last week. The Pentagon is currently investigating the authenticity of the photos and the identities of the servicemen involved. The US attacked Iraq under the pretext that the regime of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction. WMDs were never found in the country and the war killed hundreds of thousands of people.

Nearly a dozen people have been killed and many more injured in a fresh attack in Pakistan\'s port city of Karachi.
Officials say an explosive-laden car hit a police bus transporting over 50 personnel. All of the victims are policemen. No group has claimed responsibility for the early morning attack. Pakistan has been hit by a wave of bombings and shootings in recent months. And Karachi has been one of the major targets with insurgent groups often trying to create ethnic violence in the city. Israel refuses to allow many Palestinian patients from Gaza to seek medical treatment in the occupied territories.
According to Palestinian sources, sick people whose transfer documents are marked \"State of Palestine\" are barred from entering Israel. The logo was added to medical transfer documents by Palestinian officials in December. This came after the Palestinian Authority won recognition as a UN observer state despite U-S and Israeli opposition. 70 Palestinian patients who need to go to Israeli hospitals have already been denied entry. Israeli officials are yet to comment on the issue.

Shaheed Aitizaz Hassan: A Pakistani school boy from Hangu District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province who sacrificed his life while preventing a suicide bomber from entering his school on January 6, 2014. The school is located at the Ibrahimzai village of Hangu and it is the primary source of education for 2000 students.
Aitzaz\\\\\\\'s action to save his classmates captured the hearts of many in Pakistan; he was hailed as a national hero and awarded with the high civil award of Pakistan Sitara-e-Shujaat (Star of Bravery). Amidst the existing paralysis of action and amidst the purposeful ambiguity being created in Pakistan to not only exonerate Taliban but to make them out into Islamic heroes , the likes of Shaheed Aitizaz Hassan must proudly be raised as a flag under which the forces of correction gather together to assert its will against the gathering Khariji and Takfiri storm.
It is not only a way to remember the great sacrifice of our martyrs but it is also a practical step to gain center stage in the battle of wills that is unfolding; the narrative must be won before the war is won.
To achieve this purpose we produced a documentary with re-enactment of his martyrdom. This documentary with re-enactment contains the footage of real people, his family, his neighbors, his teacher speaking about him and also about the incident.
