The family of a Palestinian man killed by israeli soldiers has been forced to cancel his funeral, after Israel refused to hand over his body.
The Israeli army says its soldiers opened fire on Yusef after he drove into their base to attack them.
However, his family says that the Israeli army prevented him from entering through the checkpoint on his way home from work. Yusef had become frustrated and drove through, where he was shot and killed.
Yusef\'s father also said, when he arrived home in the evening, the Israeli army had raided his home and arrested three of his brothers who were released later.
This is the second tragic incident for the family, as their other son had been murdered in a similar way just three years ago.
Other relatives of Yusef also told us how Israel failed to meet its promise to hand over the body of the slain man.
The Israelis have refused to hand over the body of Yousef, even after their family was waiting for hours to receive it. And this forced them to cancel the funeral for him, which was due to take place in Abudiyeh village in Bethlehem.

The United Nations and Arab League special envoy to Syria say the Syrian crisis has become extremely dangerous for the the region and beyond.
Addressing a news conference in Iraq, Brahimi said there\'s a new attempt to solve the Syrian crisis in the Geneva 2 peace conference. His comments come as the United States and Russia, who support opposing sides in the conflict, have been trying for months to bring the Damascus government and the divided opposition to the table for a peace conference. But with the war deadlocked, the opposition has shown no interest in compromise, forcing the meeting to be repeatedly postponed.

Iran\'s peaceful nuclear programme has grabbed media attention since nuclear talks between Iran and the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany started in Geneva. Russia\'s official position is that Iran is entitled to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. This is a position that has been reaffirmed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Russia is one of Iran\'s major energy partners and has been in charge of building of Bushehr nuclear power plant. But do ordinary Russians share the same view as their politicians? Press TV took to the streets of Moscow to find out.
While most Russians questioned by Press TV believe that Iran should be able to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, there are some people who think it\'s not a simple issue.
The next round of nuclear talks is seto to be held in November in Geneva, should shed more light on whether diplomacy can prevail in this situation.
The majority of people here believe that Iran is entitled to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. This notion is also reflected in the Russian government which says that a diplomatic path should be pursued to resolve the nuclear issue.

The protest is the latest in a series of weekly rallies held after Friday prayers. The demonstrators have dubbed this week\'s rally as \"the US apology for racism and deception.\" They chanted slogans against the US and torched its flag. The protesters also stepped on pictures of the US Undersecretary of State Wendy Sherman to show their anger at her anti-Iran remarks. Earlier this month, Sherman told a group of US senators that deception is part of the DNA, while she was talking about dealing with Iran.

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, OPCW says Syria has met a deadline for destroying its chemical production and mixing equipment. The organization says its members in Syria have inspected 21 out of 23 chemical weapons sites across the country. The two remaining sites have not been inspected yet due to security problems. However, their chemical equipment has been transferred to other places already inspected. The chemical weapons disarmament is in line with a deal proposed by Russia to prevent a military attack by Washington on Syria. The deal stipulates that Syria dismantle its entire stockpile of chemical weapons by June 20-14.

International human rights groups have censured Qatar and Saudi Arabia for their treatment of migrant workers.
Amnesty International has issued a report criticizing the conditions of workers preparing venues for the 2022 World Cup. The report details non-payment of wages, harsh working conditions, and poor standards of accommodation. Meanwhile, Human Rights Watch has urged Persian Gulf monarchies to take additional steps to safeguard migrant workers. In a statement, HRW appealed to the Arab states to adopt the new codes of the International Labor Organization. Saudi Arabia is currently conducting a brutal crackdown on undocumented workers. Several people -- including three Ethiopians -- have been killed since the kingdom launched a visa crackdown two weeks ago.
