The martyrdom and mission of Imam Husayn (A) has brought forth countless people that are perfumed with the fragrance of Imam Husayn (A).
And along these very lines, Islamic Pulse is humbled to present yet another follower of Imam Husayn (A), in the blessed months of sacrifice, the months of Muharram and Safar.
Sister Zainab speaks to us all about certain profound aspects surrounding Imam Husayn (A).
What is a source of light in today\\\'s day and age of darkness?
And what does Allah say in the holy Quran regarding the means to reaching Allah?
How did the Messenger of Allah (S) describe Imam Husayn (A)?
What does Imam Sajjad (A) speak about the paths to reach Allah?
And what happens to us when we commemorate the martyrdom and mission of Imam Husayn (A)?
Finally, is it merely sufficient for us to love and mourn Imam Husayn (A); what else is necessary?
And so in this Muharram and Safar special episode, Sister Zainab speaks about \\\"What Is The Fastest Path To Reach Allah?\\\"
Salutations be upon Husayn!
Salutations be upon Ali ibne Husayn!
Salutations be upon the children of Husayn!
Salutations be upon the companions of Husayn!

The Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus), also known as the Peregrine,[2] and historically as the Duck Hawk in North America,[3] is a cosmopolitan bird of prey in the family Falconidae. It is a large, crow-sized falcon, with a blue-gray back, barred white underparts, and a black head and moustache. It can reach speeds over 320 km/h (200 mph) in a stoop,[4] making it the fastest creature on the planet.[5] As is common with bird-eating raptors, the female is much bigger than the male.[6][7] Experts recognize 17–19 subspecies, which vary in appearance and range; there is disagreement over whether the distinctive Barbary Falcon is a subspecies or a distinct species.
The Peregrine\'s breeding range includes land regions from the Arctic tundra to the Tropics. It can be found nearly everywhere on Earth, except extreme polar regions, very high mountains, and most tropical rainforests; the only major ice-free landmass from which it is entirely absent is New Zealand. This makes it the worlds most widespread bird of prey.[8] Both the English and scientific names of this species mean wandering falcon, referring to the migratory habits of many northern populations.

Human rights activists say the beating and torture of children is continuing in the Ukraine despite the new Criminal Code and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which was adopted by the government last year.
The inhumane and degrading treatment of children is endemic in many countries. But the situation in the Ukraine is worse, as the lack of data makes the magnitude of the problem difficult to ascertain.

Islamic Iran Inaugurates Production Lines For Zolfeqar and Seraj Combat Boats
'Iran's vessels fastest in world'
A top commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says the corps' missile-launching vessels rank first in the world in terms of speed and power.
"Iran is second to none in the world when it comes to high-speed missile-launching vessels", IRGC's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi was quoted by Fars News Agency as saying on Monday.
He highlighted that 'speed' is a significant issue as far as vessels are concerned.
"American warships currently have a maximum speed of 31 knots while Iranian vessels can travel twice as fast on average", said the top general on the sidelines of a ceremony to open production lines for domestically-built Zolfaghar and Seraj vessels.
He underlined the IRGC's Navy is capable of countering any aggression.
"Given the unimaginable growth in Iran's defense capability, we can defend our borders and rights in the best way possible", Fadavi added.
He said Iran continues to enhance its defense capabilities.
"We have substantially boosted our deterrence and destruction capabilities" since the end of the Iraqi imposed war in the 80's", said the top general.
Iran on Monday officially opened production lines for the Seraj and Zolfaghar high-speed vessels.
Also on Sunday, Iran unveiled its first home-made long-range unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in a ceremony marking National Defense Industry Day.

[24 July 2012] Abdul Jabbar Sloot: My journey to Islam - English
In this edition of the show we talk to Abdul Jabbar Sloot about his journey to Islam.
He talks about his challenges and changes as a Muslim convert in Britain before and after embracing the world's fastest-growing religion.
Before converting to Islam, 42-year old Abdul was constantly seeking for a way to reach the divine. He even took part in official drug testing as a way to reach what he thought was a more spiritual state of life. However, he soon realized that this was not the right path for him.
Having grown up in a tiny English countryside village close to Cambridge, Abdul went to church every Sunday as a child and took part in all the activities held by the local Christian community. But as he grew up, he was not satisfied.
After getting married he had several hallucinations that lead him to speak with a college tutor who introduced him to a Sheikh in Tottenham. His first conversation with the Sheikh inspired him so much that he took his shahada the very next day.
A few months later his wife, too converted to Islam, after having a series of conversations with the same sheikh. The sheikh played such an important role in their decision-making process, and they feel an enormous gratitude to him for helping them on the right path towards Islam.
They now have 5 children whom they have brought up as Muslim and lead a simple and peaceful life in the English countryside. Both Abdul and his wife take great pleasure in educating their children at home, away from "mainstream" ideas and behaviors.
