This little girl is another war victim. Aysha has been badly wounded by a US air strike. President Karzai paid her a visit in a military hospital. Aysha lost her whole family when a US drone hit their home in eastern Kunar province. The Afghan president complained to US Secretary of State here in Kabul about what happened to Ashya. But drone attacks continue to target civilians. The US is not willing to stop them and its military men are very proud of their drones. They claim the air strikes target terrorists and there is no collateral damage. People here, however, find their claim funny asking themselves that how can a child---like-Ashya---be a terrorist? Aysha does not know why her dad and mom were killed. But she knows who is responsible for their deaths. Drone war expanded here right when US President Barack Obama took office. Campaigning for the White House in 2008, Obama did say that he would embrace drones to go after what he named 9/11 terrorists. But it seems the wrong people have been targeted. So it is mostly civilians who continue to remain vulnerable to drone attacks. Over 447 strikes were launched here last year, killing and wounding about 2,500 people. This year may prove to be even deadlier.

A tradition says, “God forgives all sins except for one sin, which is done in the mind.” What is that sin? Adultery? Stealing? Killing? No, He forgives these. A sin, which God doesn’t forgive, is the sin of being suspicious about God. This person is unable to control his mind. It constantly comes into his mind that God won’t forgive him or her. God will say, “Ok, so no way! I won’t forgive this apparently little sin! You could have controlled your mind! You’re unable to control your heart! Whatever you did in the past! But, you can control your mind!” God, every moment that I became suspicious about You, You became very angry. I was wrong. Forgive me. The Almighty God told the prophet David, “O David! The daughter of ‘so and so’ is at your level in Heaven.” The Prophet David (‘a) said, “I want to see who she is that she is at the same level with her prophet!?” He went and asked her about her actions. She talked about them. He asked, “How do you live? How do you worship?” Her answers were very normal! He asked, “How do you feel when doing these? What do you think about God? What is your intention?” See her answer. She said, “Any changes that God made in my situation, I never became suspicious about God at all. I said, ‘This was surely better for me.’” The Prophet David (‘a) said, “Your good thoughts about God have caused you to be at the level of the prophets.” “I never thought badly about God. If I want to state this simply, even when God brought hardships for me, I didn’t think badly about Him. I said, ‘This was surely better for me.’” “Your good thoughts about Almighty God have caused you to be at the same level of the prophet of your time.” No one should think badly about God! Some of the sins of the mind aren’t forgiven at all! A tradition says, “God forgives all sins except for one sin, which is done in the mind.” No one should think badly about God! The Household of the Prophet (‘a), the Manifestation of God’s Kindness One of the other ways to understand, believe in, and taste God’s Kindness are the Household of the Prophet (‘a). A tradition says, “God divided kindness into 100 parts. He gave one part to the people. A mother’s kindness for her child, the love between a husband and wife, the kindness of a father towards his child, and the kindness of a child towards his father are all in this one part. He gave 99 parts of it to the Household of the Prophet (‘a).” This means no matter how much the kindest mother loves her child, she is unable to understand the kindness of her Imam. I mean the kindest mother who has ultimate kindness and the highest degree of kindness towards her children. Now this should increase 99 times more, which is impossible, in order to understand the kindness of an Imam towards his nation. You don’t dare to talk badly about a child in front of his or her mother. She’ll hold a grudge against you for at least 100 years. Now, if you talk badly about a follower and friend of the Household of the Prophet (‘a), how will they react with you? A tradition says, “Whoever finds a weak point or something against one of our friends, hides and keeps it in order to use it later when needed, has left from being under our Guardianship.” Imam Reza (‘a) said, “I’ve obliged myself to curse such a person every day.” This is very serious. Such a person will be completely ruined. When we say that the Household of the Prophet (‘a) are kind, you too should be careful about (how you behave to) each other. Imam Baqir (‘a) narrated from Imam Sadiq (‘a), “I swear to God that I love your smells and your souls. We become sick when you become sick. We become happy when you become happy. We become sad when you become sad. But, our God loves you even more.” This is very interesting. It is very hard to imagine. The Household of the Prophet (‘a) are the manifestation of God’s Kindness. If we understand their kindness, we’ll become kind with each other. If we understand the Household of the Prophet’s (‘a) kindness, which is easier to understand, we’ll understand God’s Kindness too. Five more American soldiers have lost their lives in Afghanistan's volatile south, bringing to 12 the number of foreign soldiers killed over the past 48 hours. NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said on Wednesday that four of the soldiers lost their lives in a bomb attack, while the other one was killed in a gunfight with the Taliban in the volatile south. The latest casualties come a day after seven NATO soldiers -- four British and three American -- were killed in the war-torn country. Meanwhile, Taliban spokesman Qari Yousuf Ahmadi claimed that militants have killed 13 American troops and seven Afghan soldiers during an attack on a military outpost in Kandahar. Over 350 foreign troops have been killed in Afghanistan so far this year. Some 140,000 US-led troops are currently stationed Afghanistan. A further 10,000 are expected to be deployed there in the coming weeks. NATO's mounting death toll has caused public support to plummet for the Afghan war across Europe and the US. Meanwhile, results of a CBS poll show most Americans believe the war in Afghanistan is a no-win scenario. The poll says 60 percent of American people think the war is being handled badly. Fifty-one percent of Americans want the US government to set a date for the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.

Karachi Police fired teargas shells upon Shia demonstrators who were protesting against the ban on a Shia news website on Tuesday. The ban on the news website of a Shia group evoked a protest rally that was to be staged from Mehfil-e-Shah-e-Khorasan in Soldier Bazaar to main M A Jinnah Road near Old Numaish. A heavy contingent of police was deployed to prevent the protest rally. A ban was imposed to stage rally. When the protestors started rally, police started teargas shelling. Aerial firing was also reported. Streets of Mehfil-e-Shah-e-Khorasan were also badly affected. The protestors have vowed that they would continue their protest till withdrawal of the ban that was imposed on the website three days ago. Known Shia scholar and speaker Allama Mirza Yousuf and Allama Aftab Haider Jafri have condemned the violation of sanctity of Mehfil-e-Shah-e-Khorasan by police and rangers. They demanded that there should be no ban on peaceful protest of Shias.

The family members of prominent detained Saudi Shia cleric Sheikh Nemr al-Nemr say he has been badly tortured in jail. On Sunday, the family members were allowed to visit Sheikh Nemr, who has been on a hunger strike since July 19. His sister said the detained cleric had turned weaker and that signs of torture were seen on his head. The family visited him for the second time since his arrest earlier in July. They were allowed to visit him for the first time on July 15. Sheikh Nemr was attacked, injured and arrested by the security forces of the Al Saud regime while driving from a farm to his house in the Qatif region of Eastern Province on July 8. Press TV has conducted an interview with Zayd al-Isa, Middle East expert from London about the incident involving Sheikh Nemr al-Nemr and Saudi government forces.

The farmer was tending to his trees when a group of 15-20 settlers from the nearby settlement Migron attacked him using weapons. A group of men with knives and sticks attacked a Gezi Park forum in the late hours of July 11, in the neighborhood of the conservative Istanbul district Fatih. The group was commemorating the death of the latest victim of the police crackdown on protesters. 19-year-old Ali Ismail Korkmaz died of his wounds in hospital on Wednesday. He was badly beaten by unidentified people in plane clothes during protests on June 2. It is widely believed the attackers were wither plain-clothes police or protested by police.

Turkish security police continue to detain and arrest anit-govenrment protesters in what many lawyers call witch-hunt for people with any links to the Gezi protests. Since late May, the protesters have been calling for the downfall of the ruling AK Party led by Prime Minister Raccip Tayyip Erdogan. The association of photographers says over one hundred photographers have been detained, or badly beaten as well. They have also had their photos erased by the police during the demos in Istanbul and Ankara. One photographer who accepted to talk to us on condition of anonymity says he had a yellow press ID card when the police attacked him.

This car was travelling behind a truck which was exploded on that fateful day. Its driver got injured before he could detonate the explosives. The car itself was badly damaged but police managed to removed the explosives safely. The photographers also managed to visit areas targeted by chemical weapons. They saw ruined buildings - including hospitals, schools and churches. They weren\'t allowed to film the actual army operations against militants. However, their main aim was to capture its devastating impacts. The organizers of the exhibition say the people they met in Syria remain hopeful that the conflict will end soon. However, this unique exhibition allows people elsewhere to take a glimpse of deadly carnage and devastations in Syria.
