Saudi Arabia’s fresh bombardments across impoverished Yemen have left nearly thirty people dead.
The latest attacks on an area between the provinces of Shabwah and Ma’rib killed seventeen Yemenis. The attacks also mistakenly killed three forces loyal to fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi. Saudi jets pounded Abyan and Bayda provinces in the south, killing nearly a dozen people. There were several airstrikes on the provinces of Ta’izz and Amran, as well. Meanwhile, Yemen’s Ansarullah fighters and their allied army units launched retaliatory rocket attacks against Saudi military sites along the border. Ryiadh has been bombing Yemen for more than six months. Over 5100 Yemenis have lost their lives so far.
