In this episode of our journey through \\\"The Signs of Allah\\\", Shaykh Muhammad Husayn speaks about Chapter No. 49 of the holy Qur\\\'an, Surah Hujurat, and the 1st verse within it.
Based upon Surah Hujurat, what is the meaning of Islam?
And what does this first verse of Surah Hujurat warn us about?
What is a historical example of when this first verse of Surah Hujurat wasn\\\'t implemented by the Muslims?
And what did the Messenger of Allah (S) call these people?
How does Imam Ali (A) summarize the meaning of Islam?
Finally, who is a true Muslim?
It only takes a few minutes to witness \\\"The Signs of Allah\\\", but it could very well change your lives for the better, for forever.

It is incredible that despite the Holy Prophet of Allah having left two weighty things to hold on to firmly, most of the commentaries compiled on the Holy Quran are primarily based on some sciences such as theology, philosophy, logic, Mysticism, jurisprudence and historical accounts and even experimental sciences.
Ahadeeth or narrations and traditions of the Holy Prophet, the Lady Fatima and the Twelve infallible Imams A.S. as the introduced qualified commentators of the Holy Quran, are given less significance - leaving a bigger field for the personal deviant views, and hence resulting in many sects within Muslims!

In this episode of our journey through \\\"The Signs of Allah\\\", Shaykh Muhammad Husayn speaks about Chapter No. 49 of the holy Qur\\\'an, Surah Hujurat, and the 9th verse within it.
Yet, what does verse number 9 of Chapter Hujurat say?
And what are some of the duties that fellow believing brothers and sisters have with one another?
In times of a conflict between the believers, what must the believers do?
Is the term \\\'conflict\\\' that comes in this verse, applicable to all types of conflict or is applicable to only one type of conflict?
What does the conflict between the Aus and the Khazraj have to do with this specific verse of Surah Hujarat?
Finally, based upon this verse, can there be a neutral party in the confrontation between Truth and falsehood?
It only takes a few minutes to witness \\\"The Signs of Allah\\\", but it could very well change your lives for the better, for-ever.

The history of mankind is filled with overwhelming stark evidence that religions have at times been hijacked by political leaders in their struggle for power, within and among nations.
Today the Muslim ummah, from Indonesia to Morocco is in a quandary, because the theorists who directly or indirectly served the interests of the despotic
rulers, have presented\\\" the obedience to ruler\\\" even if he is an usurper, a rogue or a ruffian as a fundamental of religion known as the theory of violence and conquest by misinterpreting this verse. + How can we believe, as Muslims, that the Just, Wise and Almighty Allah has enjoined us to obey unjust, insane and tyrant despot, dictator or monarch?

In this episode of our journey through \\\"The Signs of Allah\\\", Shaykh Muhammad Husayn follows up the previous episode and continues to speak about Chapter No. 49 of the holy Qur\\\'an, and the 7th verse within it.
What is the name of the 49th chapter of the holy Qur\\\'an?
Who was Walid ibn Uqba?
What did he suggest to the holy Prophet Muhammad (S)?
Who was the Bani Mustaliq?
What is \\\'Wahi\\\'?
And why does the holy Prophet (S) not receive education from other human beings?
Finally, what is an interesting thing regarding Imam Ali (A) that the traditions and the commentators say about a specific phrase in this verse number 7 of chapter Hujurat?
It only takes a few minutes to witness \\\"The Signs of Allah\\\", but it could very well change your lives for the better, for-ever.

The truth is that God hasn’t asked that much from us. Have you heard, “Take a step and God will send His blessings”? Have you heard the tradition, “Take one step toward God, and God will take ten steps toward you”? Have you heard this tradition that when you move slowly toward God, He’ll run toward you? What is the first step we should take?
God embraces a person who is aware of his or her own faults. He caresses them very much! He is incredibly kind to them! This is to such an extent that even if you feel you don’t have any faults, just tell God that you do. Then see how God will embrace you. Nonetheless, it is impossible that a person has no flaws. But even if one is not aware of his faults, he should tell God, “God, in general I have flaws. But I’m not aware of my flaws.”
One should say, “Al-Afw (forgive me)” 300 times in his midnight prayer. The Holy Prophet (s) advised us to ask for God’s forgiveness at least 70 times a day. God hasn’t asked that much from us. Have you heard, “Take a step and God will send His blessings”? Have you heard the tradition, “Take one step toward God, and God will take ten steps toward you”? Have you heard this tradition that when you move slowly toward God, He’ll run toward you?
What is the first step we should take? We should know our own fault. This is half a step or sometimes one complete step. Then God will help you eliminate this defect. He’ll design the rest of your life in such a way that you are corrected. After that, you shouldn’t think you did something special in confronting your will and purifying yourself. When you look, you’ll see that God has made the rest possible.
This is how it truly is. God arranges the rest so that you can eliminate that flaw. In some cases, He corrects you right away. He doesn’t bother you and allow it to take much time. God becomes very happy! [According to the traditions,] God says, “When a sinner turns back to Me, it’s as if I’ve found something I’d lost. When a sinner turns back to Me, like a person who has lost his food and water in a desert and is perishing, then he suddenly finds them, I become happy in this way.”
We are that sinner! When we recognize we have a sin, God becomes happy as if He has found something He’d lost. It’s as if God was perishing due to His thirst, then He found water. It’s as if God becomes excited! Of course, these are our inaccurate interpretations. But this analogy has been mentioned in the traditions. We should become excited if we find a defect in ourselves. So let’s search within ourselves to find our defects.

What happens when we raise our voices above that of the holy Prophet Muhammad (S)?
And what does verse number 3 of chapter Hujurat of the holy Qur\\\'an teach us?
And is this teaching limited to just the holy Prophet Muhammad (S)?
What is one of the best qualities that an individual can have?
And what does Islam teach us in this regard?
What does Imam Ali (A) say in this regard?
Finally, what will happen if we apply this verse of the holy Qur\\\'an in our lives?

And who has taught us the best of kind morals and ethics?
What are some of the personality traits of the Messenger of Allah (S)?
What is the connection between intellect and manners?
And according to a tradition from Imam al-Sadiq (A), what are the five qualities which create a person\'s worth in front of Allah?
Finally, are these verses of the holy Qur\'an limited to just the Messenger of Allah (S) or does it apply to others?
It only takes a few minutes to witness \"The Signs of Allah\", but it could very well change your lives for the better, for-ever; wherever you are.

When you look at the collection of religious teachings and guidance, you usually feel they mostly tell us what not to do. [Religion says,] “Don’t do that. Detach yourself from this world. Abandon your wishes.” Religions guidance and commands mostly want us to put things aside. That is why many people don’t like religion. They feel that religious recommendations are mostly prohibiting, bitter and unpleasant.
Is it really like this? Are most of religion\'s recommendations and teachings really about \"cutting off, detaching, giving something up and leaving\"? Is this true or is this a false belief? The fact is, yes, it is like this. The beloved Prophet of Islam (s) both warned and gave good tidings. He gave good news. But it’s clear that the Holy Prophet (s) is mostly addressed as a warner in the Qur’an. And his being a warner is more than his being one who gives good tidings.
Why is it like this? It’s because a person doesn’t need to be told, “Be good. Be in love. Connect with God. Reach Him. Live with love.” You know, human beings don’t need such recommendations. Why? Because a person is in love. He wants to connect [with God]. People have all these good features. They are not apparent. They are hidden in a human being.
If you abandon some things in your life, these will naturally show themselves. A person won’t fall in love by your saying, “Be in love. Be enthusiastic.” Love should come from within. Effective recommendations for people are words such as, “Abandon it. Leave it. Stop. Don’t say it. Don\'t say these words.\"
In fact, religion’s way of training is a bit like looking for treasure. You have to open the way. Pick up this and that. Pick up this rock. Break that rock. Pick these up until you reach that shining gem, or until you reach that clear source of water, for example. It is like digging a well. Some are very pure. With a little digging you reach water. For others, you must dig a deep hole to reach water. So, you see religion’s recommendations mostly tell us what we shouldn’t do. They’re more about abandoning, prohibiting and warning. Religion wants to detach a person from some things instead of advising him to become connected [to God]. Because there is no need to advise people to become connected. We are all in love and have been created in love. If one abandons some things, love will show itself.
So religion’s recommendations are prohibiting in appearances or at least there are more prohibiting ones. Religion truly wants to make people fall in love. But one doesn’t fall in love by telling him to do so. One should remove the obstacles. A person doesn’t need to be told, “Be good. Be in love. Connect with God. Reach Him. Live with love.” Why? Because a person is in love. He wants to connect [with God]. People have all these good features. They are not apparent. They are hidden in a human being.
We’ve been created for a deep, lasting love. We’ve been created for a continually increasing, warming love! How can we gain this? By abandoning many things and detaching our heart from them.

One of the factors that expands one\'s capacity, which we discussed last night, is good manners and morals [akhlaq], especially at home and with one\'s family. The Holy Prophet (s), who had the most and highest level of capacity, had the best etiquette of all creation. In this regard, his (s) capacity was great.
May God have mercy on Shaheed Beheshti. In his memoirs, he writes that I asked Imam Khomeini, \"During the time when you were young in Qom, who taught the class on etiquette and morals [akhlaq]?\" Imam Khomeini said that when I was young, there was no class on etiquette and morals [akhlaq]. There were individuals who embodied good etiquette and morals, who we learned from them through their actions.
No one sat and taught good etiquette and morals [akhlaq] in a class. There were individuals who embodied good akhlaq. Individuals like Ayatollah Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi, whose entire conduct and behaviors embodied good akhlaq. I will give you one example. Notice how if someone were to see this, for the rest of their life, they would not forget it.
One day, it was raining, and it had rained very much. At that time, Qom had dirt roads, not asphalt roads- so when it rained, the streets would become muddy. Once a seminary student was passing through one of these streets. He was moving quickly in order to make it in time for his lesson. [As he was walking], he stepped in a muddy pit, and one of his shoes got stuck inside the muddy pit. He limped over to a wall and stood their one-legged wondering what he would do now. At that moment, Ayatollah Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi, the great marja\' taqlid who truly was a great man. He was also elderly. From his place of study, which was in a mosque close by, Ayatollah Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi came out and saw this seminary student standing with one leg while his shoe was stuck in the mud. He took off his own shoes and put it on the foot of the seminary student. He told him wear this and go to your lesson. This seminary student was shocked and said, \"Agha, I will think of something to do.\" Ayatollah Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi without any shoes said, \"No, my home is close by. I will go home and wash my feet. You go to your studies.\"
Now look at this, for this eldery maraj\' taqlid to have an interaction like this with a youth, this is better than a thousand lessons of akhlaq given verbally. In fact, etiquette and morals [akhlaq], gnosticism [irfan], training and education [tarbiyat], before they are to be read about in books or heard in lectures, they must be seen. A person must see someone who is like this, not just hear about it or read about it in books. They must see someone like this.
Allamah Majlesi, may God be pleased with him, who compiled the \"Bihar al-Anwar\" and was a great person- on Thursday nights, he used to gather his family and speak to them for 30 minutes. He would tell them a narration [hadith], give them admonishments and advice, tell them some Islamic rulings, and recite a eulogy. He would speak to them for 30 minutes. But this Allamah Majlesi, who would speak to them for 30 minutes, he would act on these for an entire week. When his children would see his actions, akhlaq, kindness, compassion, and honesty, his 30 minutes of speaking had a deep effect within the depths of their being.
I will never forget this. There was a successful mother who lived in Tehran. She had four children who each of them was better, nobler, more religious, and more respecful than the next. They were also very educated. They asked this successful mother that how were you able to raise such good kids? Nowadays, parents don\'t have much influence over their children. It is truly like this. So they asked this successful mother that how did you raise such good kids? She said something very wise. She said that whatever I wanted my children to become, I myself practiced. That which I wanted my children to be, I myself became it.

What happened in the recent riots in the Islamic Republic of Iran?
Who all was behind this plot of creating and inciting violence and riots in the Islamic Republic?
What are some of the intricacies that deal with the recent riots in the Islamic Republic?
What is the meaning of security?
What aspects are entailed within the definition and concept of security?
Who all were the people that were rioting and causing damage to public property in the Islamic Republic?
Do the Arrogant Powers of the world that claim to care about the death of Mahsa Amini, sincere about their emotions?
Is support similar to that which was given by the Arrogant Powers to the rioters in the Islamic Republic given to rioters in other parts of the world, especially the West?
The answer to these questions and many more are answered by the Leader of the Islamic Republic, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, in this full speech of his eminence that he delivered on October 3, 2022, where his eminence clarifies \"The Reality of The Recent Riots in Iran\".

The Most Important Feature of a Goal in Life | Agha Ali Reza Panahiyan | Farsi Sub English

==============================
The most important feature of a goal is that it should create a fire from within a person. It should give warmth, strengthen, entertain and give direction to a person’s imaginations. This is how a person’s goal should be, otherwise one’s life is useless. [As a poem says,] “Pray over his body although he’s not dead.” A life in which one’s goal doesn’t give warmth and doesn’t answer one’s need for love is a very low level of life.
In our life, everything really depends on the goal we choose. Imagine if you let people be free but don’t talk about religion, God’s commands or beliefs. Just tell people, “Live with a goal that warms you, creates a fire and answers your need for love. See where you can find this goal yourself.” They can’t find such a goal even if false propaganda is used.
Have you seen that people talk about love and affection? It’s interesting that everyone talks about love, but no one reaches to it. Everyone likes and admires a life filled with love. Instead of using the term “a life with love,” God has designed this in religion in this way that He says, “Set your goal to be getting close to Me.” Getting close to God will light a fire (of love) in one’s heart. Maybe when people talk about a life with love, this is what they mean.
And we have worked so poorly and weakly in this regard! The effects of our deeds have sometimes been so repulsive that we haven’t been able to help people to understand this attractive, affectionate, deep, and so rational concept of getting close to God. People do not know religion to be getting close to God. But no deed without having the intention of getting close to God is accepted. Unfortunately, if you introduce religion without the concept of getting close to God, religion will seem awful to people. Those people [who’ve learned this kind of religion] are right to hate it. Perhaps religion without the passionate, attractive meaning of closeness to God has been taught to them.
Imagine if one is able to understand such a goal, he sets it as his goal and he is able to gradually strengthen this goal. Imagine what effects this will have on one’s heart. The explosive part of religion that awakens one’s heart and causes him to move can be found in the concepts of getting close to God and how to get close to Him. God shows us this majestic universe and says, “I have created these. These are my creation. Now look at Me Myself.” It’s incomparable. Then God says, “Set your goal to be getting close to Me.”

What is the root cause of America\'s anger?
Why were the Americans upset with the Quds Force?
And what was the reason for the illegal assassination and murder of the commander of the Quds Force – Shaheed Haj Qasem Soleimani?
And why must one not say anything that suggests that we are repeating the enemy’s words?
Furthermore, what is a country’s policy comprised of?
And why is it essential to maintain the unity of word between the various units of a government?
Moreover, what will be the consequences if one part contradicts the other part?
And finally, how has the Islamic Republic of Iran achieved a respect-oriented policy in the West Asian region?

What must one do if they want to attain the prosperous and everlasting life?
What should be one\\\\\\\'s view regarding the materialistic world?
And what should be one\\\\\\\'s view regarding the Hereafter?
What happens to an individual when the love for Allah is placed within their heart?
What is the story of Bal\\\\\\\'am Ba\\\\\\\'oor that has been stated in the Qur\\\\\\\'an and what are the verses that are related to his story?
Finally, and quite shockingly, is it even possible that a situation may arise where Allah says about an individual that \\\\\\\"Their Example Is That Of The Dog\\\\\\\"?
The late Ayatollah Misbah-Yazdi (R) provides us with a short, but profound lesson on the basics of loving Allah.

Welcome to the Islamic Pulse Talk Show.
In this episode we\\\\\\\'re talking about the recent episode of burning the Holy Quran in Sweden by Swedish citizen and Danish politician Rasmus Paludan on January 21, 2023. We\\\\\\\'re also discussing why Charlie Hebdo released the offensive caricatures of Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei.
What kind of an individual would burn the holy Quran, a book deeply respected and loved by well over 1.5 billion Muslims all across the world, and many many non-Muslims as well?
And isn\\\\\\\'t it dangerous for a person to have such kind of extreme hatred in their hearts to the point where they would burn another religion\\\\\\\'s holy book, and also have a political position in the government?
And who is ultimately behind the burning of the holy Quran, the desecration of religious sanctities, and what are some of their motives?
What are some of the reactions that a person would give in the face of such kinds of inciteful acts of hatred and Islamophobia?
How should we react to these kinds of inciteful and Islamophobic acts of hatred?
Why would an individual want to live in a country where they are considered to be second or even third-class citizens by the governmental establishment, and at times, the overall majority of the population?
What is \\\\\\\'secular intolerance\\\\\\\' and \\\\\\\'secular extremism\\\\\\\', and why is it so dangerous, especially within the context of \\\\\\\'secular terrorism\\\\\\\'?
What is a beautiful verse of the holy Quran that puts all these things into perspective?
Why were some unfortunate cartoons made of Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, an individual respected and revered by countless Muslims and non-Muslims alike?
And can some pitiful cartoons made by a trash and pornographic magazine from a country that is breaking apart at the seams, really bring down the spiritual status of a revered religious leader such as Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei?
What is one of the reasons why the great plot created by the Arrogant Powers and seen in the recent rioting in Iran, failed miserably?
And what does the burning of the holy Quran, and the cartoons of Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, and previously of the Messenger of Allah (S), signal about the current condition of the enemies of Islam?
Has the communist model survived long enough to provide for the worldly welfare of humanity?
And what is the current state of the capitalist model, who also claims to be able to provide for the worldly welfare of humanity?
Finally, what makes Islam different from the above-mentioned man-made failed models?
To answer these questions and more, we humbly invited Shaykh Ali Qomi from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, to sit down with us and speak a little bit about these topics as we speak about the recent events of \\\\\\\"Burning The Holy Quran & Caricatures of Ayatollah Khamenei\\\\\\\".

Do you want to be one of the companions of Imam al-Mahdi (A)?
Well, what are some of the attributes of the companions of Imam al-Mahdi (A)?
What does Imam Ali (A) say about the companions of Imam al-Mahdi (A)?
Should one save their money to the extent where it becomes the amassing of wealth, especially when considering the many poor people around us?
What does amassing wealth do to our focus?
And what does the Messenger of Allah (S) say about the companions of Imam al-Mahdi (A)?
Why is piety and austerity so important for a companion of Imam al-Mahdi (A)?
Finally, what people are the best of the Ummah of the Messenger of Allah (S)?
Sister Spade explains and answers these questions and more, based upon selections from the book, The Essence of Creation, 3rd edition, as she speaks about \"The Pious And Austere Companions of Imam Mahdi (A)\".
If we want to be the companions of the Savior of Humanity (A), the 12th divinely appointed Imam (A), Imam al-Mahdi (A), then we\'re going to have to develop these two attributes within each and every single one of us.
May Allah help us all to succeed.

What is the current status of the United States of America?
Is America more powerful than it was before or the reality is contrary to that?
And what does it mean that the power of America is merely a show of grandeur, but hollow from within?
What will happen to the American Titanic?
What are some of the things that America represents in the modern age?

Letter 28: In reply to Mu\'awiyah, and it is one ot his most elegant writings
Now, your letter has reached me wherein you recall that Allah chose Muhammad (S) for His religion and helped him through those companions who helped him. Strange things about you have remained concealed (by the irony of fate) from us, since you have started telling us of Allah\'s trials for us and His bounties to us through our Prophet. In this matter, you are like the person who carries dates to Hajar, or who challenges his own master to a duel in archery.
You think that so - and- so are the most distinguished persons in Islam. You have said such a thing which if it be true, you have nothing to do with it, but if it be not so, then its defect will not affect you. And what are you to do with the question of who is better and who is worse, or who is the ruler and who is the ruled. What have the freed ones and their sons to do with distinguishing between the first muhajirun and determining their position or defining their ranks. What a pity! the sound of an arrow is being produced by what is not a real arrow, and he against whom the judgement is to be passed is sitting in judgement. O man, why do you not see your own lameness and remain within bounds, and why do not you realize the shortness of your measure and stay back where destiny has placed you. You have no concern with the defeat of the defeated or the victory of the victor.
You are wandering in bewilderment and straying from the right path. Do you not realize it? I am not giving you any news: I am just recounting Allah\'s bounty, namely that a number of people from among the muhajirun (immigrants from Mecca) and ansar (helpers) fell as martyrs in the way of Allah the Sublime, and that each of them is distinguished (on that account), but when one of us secured martyrdom he was named the Chief of all martyrs, and the Messenger of Allah (S) gave him the peculiar honour of saying seventy takbir (Allahu Akbar) during his funeral prayer.
Do you not know that a number of people lost their hands in the way of Allah, and that everyone is distinguished (on that account), but when the same thing occurred to one of us he was given the name \"the flier in Paradise\"; and \"the two winged\". If Allah had not forbidden self-praise, the writer would have mentioned numerous distinctions which the believer knows full well and which the ears of hearers do not wish to forget.
