Contributed by Abuzari. Since its pre-emptive war of 1967, Israel had maintained an aura of "invincibility" and "legitimacy". The first got bitterly crushed in the Summer of 2006 and later in the 2008-9 aggression on Gaza (where Israel failed to neutralize the resistance). As for legitimacy, for Israel it matters most of all in the US. Israel however paid a high price for its inhumane massacres in Lebanon and Gaza because it failed to achieve a clear and tangible victory in these military campaigns (the "birth pangs" of Condi Rice did not yield the desired outcomes which could have been used as justification for Israeli atrocities.) Especially during the Gaza massacre, Israel's image was severely damaged by graphic images and information that got disseminated over internet and through hundreds of protest gatherings in North America and Europe. Israel still had a tighter control on information flow in the corporate media. Due to all of these developments, the entity of Israel is in a deep crisis right now, struggling to survive with whatever means it can, and it may resort to unrealistic steps, including another military warfare. However, what's becoming clearer with every passing day is that it probably won't take too long before this racist entity is finally dismantled like the Apartheid South Africa. On the 15th of May of every year, Palestinians and the whole world remember how it all started. How the Israelis' ethnic cleansing of a people and the destruction of a society - the Nakba - was met with global indifference. Many factors made it so, but among them was a Zionist propaganda machine that illustrated the crime committed in Palestine in 1948 as a war of independence against aggressive Arabs and Palestinians.
It is true that the Palestinians and the rest of the Arab people resisted the establishment of a racist regime in Palestine. And they still do. It is only normal. If anyone comprehends the extent of the injustice that has been committed against the Palestinian people, they would not even ask why they are so determined in their pursuit of justice. And if anyone knows the history of the Palestinian struggle, they would realize that this people will continue to resist in every form until they see the justice they have so longed for restored.
On 15 May 2011, the world is invited to express its understanding, solidarity and support to a people that has resisted... and continues to do so, for Justice in Palestine.

This year's al-Quds march came amid the deadly bombardment of Gaza by Israel, prompting thousands to march through central London to express their solidarity with the Palestinians.
Muslims and non- Muslims, Sunnis and Shias, snd indeed many more, United in condemning Israel for occupying Palestinian land and for killing Palestinian people.
Thousands of demonstrators have marched through central London to call for justice for the Palestinian people. This year in particular those Arab regimes who collaborate with the Zionists have been roundly condemned.
Eventually the marchers congregated in Trafalgar Square in the heart of London, where speakers told the crowd that the Arab spring had given new hope to those seeking a free Palestine.
They said pro-Israeli dictators in Arab countries, such as Husni Mubarak of Egypt, had been toppled and would be replaced by anti-Israeli leaders in tune with the wishes of their people.
As in previous years the al-Quds marchers were harassed by small groups of right-wing activists. Members of the English Defence League, who're accused of being racist and Islamophobic, Zionists and extreme secular Iranians.
They all accused the marchers of supporting so-called Islamist terrorism, but their numbers were tiny and the police penned them in.
Meanwhile, speakers at this year's al-Quds march urged everyone to keep up the pressure on Israel politically and economically. They praised the Islamic resistance in Palestine and said Israelis wouldn't rest in peace until there was justice for the Palestinians. And they pledged to continue to rally every year until Palestine is free.

Calling the Israeli regime as one of apartheid is not rhetoric, nor is it an exaggeration or a propaganda tool. This is the reality in modern day Palestine, where the Israeli regime is based on discrimination, through laws, practices, education and most aspects of life. This apartheid regime not only imposed on the people in Palestine, but also on millions of Palestinian refugees denied their right to return home because they are of the wrong religion.
As awareness across the world continues to increase regarding the Israeli Apartheid regime in Palestine, each effort in this aspect would help accelerate the conclusion of this shameful page in history. And as this awareness rises, campaigns to boycott, divest and sanction this regime provide a very effective and natural response. The world witnesses a similar response transpire and bear fruit in the case of South Africa, and there are very good reasons to believe that it will do the same in the case of Palestine.

Muslim Woman Beaten to Death in Hate Crime California She Died on March 24th 2012, A 32-year-old woman was critically injured and not expected to survive after an assault in her El Cajon home on Wednesday, police said Friday, and a threatening note telling the mother of five to go back to her home country was found near her, a family friend said.
The woman's 17-year-old daughter found her unconscious in the dining room of the house on Skyview Street off Lemon Avenue about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, said El Cajon police Lt. Steve Shakowski. Police identified her as Shaima Alawadi.
"Based on the type of injuries Alawadi sustained, and other evidence retrieved at the scene, this case is being investigated as a homicide," Shakowski said.
Police did not disclose the contents of the note. Sura Alzaidy, a family friend, said it told the family to "go back to your own country. You're a terrorist." The family is from Iraq, and Alawadi is a "respectful modest muhajiba," meaning she wears the traditional hijab, a head scarf, Alzaidy said.
El Cajon police Lt. Mark Coit said the family stated they had found a similar note earlier this month, however did not report it to authorities.
The daughter who found her mother told KUSI Channel 9/51 on Friday night that her mother had been beaten on the head repeatedly with a tire iron. She said her mother had dismissed the previous note, found outside the house, thinking it was a child's prank.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is now involved in the case of an Iraqi woman beaten to death in her Southern California home.
The El Cajon Police Department says the FBI is providing assistance as it investigates the death of Shaima Alawadi and whether her death was a hate crime.
The mother of five had suffered multiple blows to the head with a large object. Police say her 17-year-old daughter discovered her in the kitchen on Wednesday, along with a threatening note.
Hanif Mohebi is executive director of the San Diego chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
Mohebi says the family had received another threatening note but had dismissed it as a prank.
Alawadi\'s daughter has said that the note called her mother a terrorist and demanded she go back to her country.
Mohebi says the family remains in a state of shock.
Mohebi says for right now, family members are choosing not to speak to the media.
A family friend says he believes the reports that Alawaidi’s death is a hate crime.
El Cajon is located about 2 hours south of Los Angeles.
The city has America’s second largest community of Iraqis, behind Michigan.
But police say the beating is an isolated incident and the community shouldn’t feel targeted.
Muslim leaders say the beating follows several months of increased reports of hate crimes in the San Diego area.
They say the community needs to be vigilant in reporting any kind of threat or violence against them.
Police say they have no suspects or persons of interest in this case.
They have not confirmed whether any fingerprints were found on the note left at the crime scene.

By then his recording career had already begun but now his lyrics would take on a spiritual and political edge. His calm, dead-pan delivery consists of powerful words and contain a message with every song.
