Many – if not most – human beings go through life without ever truly undergoing the necessary transformation into the best that we can be. We come to this world as caterpillars, and it is our aim to develop into butterflies. But we often remain as crawling creatures of this lowly dimension, devouring our way through the dunya (worldly life), blind, deaf and dumb. When do we truly contemplate and make the conscious decision to be better? Brother Khalil Jafar beautifully sets forth an example of our existence in this world as something essentially alien. Do we really belong here? Is there a precedence within the Holy Quran which indicates that we were sent down from a higher realm of existence? What now is our aim in regards to life, the universe and everything?

Do you have problems Don’t come to Arbaeen!
Agha AliReza Panahian
We should pay attention to what God is expecting in these calm and quiet tests. Some of the tests are with a great commotion, and they clarify our duty. Some of the tests are very quiet. A person may be deceived and suddenly lose opportunities.
In many cases, the tests for reaching to the highest degrees of closeness to God, are very delicate and quiet. The people of Kufa said, “What should we do now? What will happen? We can’t leave Imam Husayn (‘a) alone. We invited him ourselves. Let’s wait until he comes.” Then they realized that Imam Husayn (‘a) won’t come. Hurr and his troops had stopped them. And Ubaydullah was preparing an army.
They were thinking about what to do. People like Sulayman bin Surad were thinking. Then suddenly what happened? They brought the pure heads into the city. They blamed themselves, “We didn’t know such a tragedy would come about!”
Thousands of people formed the Tawwabin (repenters) uprising. All of them knew that they were going to be killed, and they were killed. There was no use for what they did in history, and they didn’t gain the advantage of being in Karbala or Ashura either.
What? You expected Imam Husayn (‘a) to pass through Hurr’s blockade himself, come into the city of Kufa, nock on your doors one by one, and say, “Come help me. They want to cut my head off. If you don’t come, this and that will happen.” What explanation did you expect from Imam Husayn (‘a) for you to come?
Believe me, Arbaeen is one of the quiet tests. Some of the tests are very quiet. A person may be deceived and suddenly lose opportunities. Believe me, Arbaeen is one of the quiet tests. Arbaeen seems noisy, but it’s also quiet, because one might think, “Is it obligatory for me to struggle for Arbaeen?” I don’t know. What should I say? During these analyses, some lose this great opportunity. During these analyses, some lost the opportunity of helping Husayn (‘a).
But, there was one person sitting in Imam Husayn’s (\\\'a) meeting on the night before Ashura. People informed him, “The cursed Ubaydullah has arrested your son.” Being arrested at that time meant being executed. They had to rescue him somehow. Imam Husayn (‘a) looked at the father and said, “Go save your son. I don’t want you to be here when you have this problem.”
The Imam gave him some money and supplies and said, “Use these to gain your son\\\'s freedom.” If you have problems, don’t come to Arbaeen. If you were in Imam Husayn’s (\\\'a) tent on the night of Ashura, he would have said, “Go fix your problems.” Even if you were there on the night of Ashura!
What did that father do? He looked at AliAkbar, the Imam’s son, and at the Imam (‘a). He said, “Your young son is going to be martyred here tomorrow. Now I should go after my own son? May my son be sacrificed for your son!” He started pleading, “Don’t drive me out of your tent because of this. I don’t want to go after my problems. I want to be for you!” He pleaded so much that the Imam (‘a) said, “Fine, stay.”
The tests are not always noisy or clear in clarifying our duties! Some opportunities come and go quickly like lightning. Some opportunities don’t shake you and say, “Wake up. Get up. Move!” They don’t seize you by the collar. A person asks, “I have some jobs to do. There is Arbaeen too. I don’t know if I should leave my work, or not.”
I say, “I don’t know. What should I say?!” I tell them I don’t know. If it was Imam Husayn (‘a), he would say, “Go, for sure. Go do your work my dear.” How much did you want to spend for Arbaeen? And you say you’re waiting for your Imam (‘a.j.) to reappear for you to rescue the world with him?! You didn’t spend that much for the dignity of Aba Abdillah al-Husayn’s (‘s) gathering in Karbala in the Arbaeen meeting place. You are waiting for the Imam (‘a.j.) to come for you to give your life? We consider Arbaeen to be a quiet test.

The Effectiveness of Mourning | Imam Khomeini (R) | Farsi Sub English

Some people have turned Majalis (mourning ceremonies for Ahlulbayt) into rituals only. Others perform them for reward in the hereafter only. They have failed to comprehend the real value and effectiveness that these mourning events hold in changing the destiny of the Muslim Ummah.
These tears that we shed have the potential to turn into a flood that can drown the oppressors, tyrants, and Yazids of all times. These chest beatings have the potential to be a slap on the face of the arrogant powers. Unfortunately, some people have failed to realize what the Imams of Ahlulbayt (A) wanted us to accomplish through these Majalis.
Imam Khomeini understood well the potential that these mourning ceremonies hold. He gave it direction and the Iranian nation accepted it. The result is the establishment of Islamic Government.
How long is it going to take for the believers across the world to realize the true potential of these Majalis?

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah Martyrs Day Speech - February 16,2020 (English Voiceover)
Important points of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah\'s speech 16 February 2021 Martyrs Day:

Important points of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah\'s speech 16 February 2021 Martyrs Day:
⭕-Nasrallah: I send my salutations to people of Bahrain, and hope they return Bahrain back to its normal, natural place, after its traitorous leaders made country into base for normalization w/Zionist enemy, betrayal of Palestinian cause.
⭕-Nasrallah: Sheikh Ragheb Harb launched the position of refusing to shake hands/deal with the enemy, particularly when the enemy is the Zionist enemy. This refusal is in and of itself a weapon in the Resistance\'s arsenal.
⭕-Nasrallah: On recent accusations being bandied around in Lebanon [over Lokman Slim\'s murder]. Every time something bad happens in Lebanon, accusations and insults directed against Hezbollah. Local, Arab, and Social media used to direct these accusations
⭕-Nasrallah: What is happening to us violates all principles and laws. In every legal system, one is innocent until proven guilty. Except in Lebanon. When it comes to Hezbollah, we are guilty and condemned until our innocence is proven.
⭕-Nasrallah: I understand Hariri\'s insistence on holding on to Interior Ministry. Hezbollah/AMAL did this on Finance Ministry, so we understand other parties doing the same.
⭕-Nasrallah: We have a problem in Lebanon called social media networks. Someone issues a statement, it\'s then picked up by supporters of one group against another, and it appears that there\'s a big crisis. There are American and Israeli electronic armies trying to initiate sectarian, political clashes in Lebanon. Recently, a Jordanian - obviously acting for Israel - was boasting that he initiated social media clash between Iranians and Iraqis. We must beware of this. Even among supporters of allied political parties, you\'ll have people who resurrect old issues and clash on social media. And then political parties have to clean up mess. I\'m not telling people not to express their opinions. Just to do it without insults, accusations, attacking symbols and figures. And just because someone, especially from allies, made a verbal mistake, don\'t go ripping their head off. We\'re friends, and this can be handled civilly.
⭕-Nasrallah: When we look at region, which powerfully impacts Lebanon, there are several factors to consider: Iranian nuclear issue, in light of new US admin and its new positions. We also note obvious Israeli , Saudi concern, and disagreement w/US
⭕-Nasrallah: Second, the Yemen issue -- new US admin, for several reasons I don\'t have time to analyze, stopped support for Saudi war, appointment of Yemen rep, called for end to war. If even in form, this is a positive matter, but Yemenis have right to be cautious. Enemy [US] could be playing trick, so Yemenis have reason to be cautious. But, change in US direction on Yemen war is positive
⭕-Nasrallah: Now on Syria issue, w/new Biden admin, we have to see US stance on east of Euphrates, Kurds, Turks, ISIS revival. US admin says its goal isn\'t to protect oil anymore but to fight ISIS, and now the Americans are re-releasing ISIS fighters into Syria, Iraq. So they\'ll have excuse to stay. If Trump admin wanted to remain in some places and withdraw from others, seems Biden admin wants to reassert American presence everywhere, so they revived ISIS
⭕-Nasrallah: Of course, the Resistance will once again defeat ISIS as it did before. Now, as [US] trying to revive ISIS in Iraq, Syria, and also in Lebanon, Hezbollah must go on the offensive to deal with this ISIS revival
⭕-Nasrallah: Clear US Biden admin\'s priority is China and Russia. China is economic threat to US, unbearable to Americans. This could be reason, in initial phase, how to deal w/ME issues differently. Not moral difference, but admission of realities: Iran, Syria, Yemen resilience. So American calculus is how to quickly deal w/these issues to free up itself to deal w/China
⭕-Nasrallah: On Israeli-Palestinian issue, no one is even talking about Deal of the Century. Looks like when Trump and Kushner left -- it was Kushner\'s deal anyway -- Deal of Century was abandoned, which is concerning to Israel, Saudi Arabia. Deal of Century Triangle was Trump-Israel-Saudi. Now, we hear US Secretary of State say they don\'t recognize Israeli soveriegnty over Golan, Jerusalem remains issue to be negotiated, and talking about 2 State Solution -- these are indicators Deal of Century over. This is because of resilience of Palestinians, Resistance Axis, against Trump, so it\'s forcing new US admin to reevaluate how to deal with this issue
⭕-Nasrallah: We think Israelis are exaggerating importance of normalization, just like they did w/Egypt and Jordan. Yes, Israel has peace w/Egyptian, Jordanian state, but their peoples have taken a very clear stance against Israel.
We see this in position of Bahraini people, opposition, clerics who oppose normalization w/Israel or dealings w/Bahraini financial institutions w/Israel. And the Bahrainis are under threat from their leaders.
We see same opposition in Tunisia, Algeria, Pakistan and other countries. So, we\'re betting on the people in these countries, because this is a battle for the people. We\'re not asking them to carry a weapon, just to boycott Israel and Israelis in every way.
⭕-Nasrallah: Israeli army chief Kochavi said that Israeli leadership must undergo change -- pretending they adhere to law and only target military targets. He said Israel must change approach, and if weapons are stored among civilians, they must strike them as well. Who is he fooling, that this is a change? IDF is a terrorist army that targets civilians, and this is attempt to give good image to ugliest, most murderous army in history of humanity
⭕-Nasrallah: Hezbollah is not seeking confrontation. But if you strike our towns and civilians, we will strike yours. In any case, we actually have civilians. But by Israeli admission, Israeli people are an army in reserve. They go to work, school, but all soldiers. So there really is no real distinction between Israeli soldiers and civilians. In the past, we deterred Israel by striking their settlements and colonies. We\'ll do it again.
⭕-Nasrallah: Israel can\'t act like it did in the past. We are in the era of the Resistance. Of course, Resistance deals w/these matters patiently, but no one should think we will be lax in defending ourselves

No one goes into ANY relationship anticipating it to break; and as such, no one gets married with the thought of divorce, however there are times when it becomes a necessity. One of the most disliked but permissible acts in Islam, in the contemporary culture, is divorce a last resort or the first option? TODAY WE REVIEW THE TOPIC OF THE “D” WORD: DIVORCE - THE LAST RESORT.
Presented by SHAYKH SALEEM BHIMJI for ISLAMIC PUBLISHING HOUSE (https://www.iph.ca)
As we go through tumultuous times, the believers repeatedly ask, ‘When will the aide of God come?’ The answer is that it came 1,400 years ago in the form of the Noble Qur’an – the remedy for the challenges we face. Join us this year as we release our seventh season of Ramaḍān Reflections and delve into the depths of the Qur’an to extract the gems which provide us with guidance to navigate the rocky waves of life...

The Quran is an untapped ocean of guidance. No matter how much we read it, it is as fresh as the first day we picked it up. No matter how much the scholars delve into it, they still find themselves sitting at the shore of its teachings. What is it about the Quran that makes it timeless? TODAY WE REVIEW THE TOPIC OF THE IMAM ALI AND THE QURAN – PART 1 OF 3.

Satirical commentary on clergymen in post-revolutionary Iran. While in prison, petty criminal Reza (Parviz Parastui) comes across a clergyman, sparking a plan for escape. Reza dons his new acquaintance\'s clerical robes and makes a bid for freedom. He soon learns that being a clergyman brings little respect from the public. Reza travels to the outlying villages, from where he plots to escape the country. However, his plans must be put on hold when the villagers accept him into their community and expect him to perform religious duties. Will Reza\'s prison break transform him into an unlikely pillar of the community?

Once a man picked up a few baby birds. He thought, “They’re so cute. Let me take them to the Prophet (s).” The mother bird came. She started flying around them. He thought, “I’ll take them to the Prophet (s). Their mother is coming too.” He placed the birds in front of the Prophet (s). The Prophet (s) saw their mother and said, “Move back!” Their mother came and threw herself on her baby birds. The Prophet said, “Did you see how this mother bird put herself in danger because of her baby birds? Does she love them?” Everyone said yes. The Prophet (s) said, “God loves you more than this mother.”
In another story, a mother lost her infant baby. In the middle of a battle, she was crying loudly. When she found her baby, she started nursing him. The Prophet (s) said, “Come here. Does this mother love her baby?” Everyone said, “Yes, of course. She did everything to find him.” He asked, “Is she willing to throw him into a fire?” They replied, “O Prophet of God! No, of course not!” He said, “God is kinder to you than this mother is to her child.”
Don’t you enjoy participating in Imam Husayn’s (as) mourning ceremony? So why are you being rewarded for it? Let me ask this in a better way. Why are you given the highest reward? Why? Don’t you enjoy? Isn’t affection enjoyable? Isn’t affection the highest enjoyment? So why are you being rewarded? Do you know why God rewards you? Because God is [kind] like a mom. When a child becomes happy, his/her mom becomes happy too.
When a youth is accepted into the university, his/her mom buys sweets. He/she says, “Mom, why do you trouble yourself? I’ve succeeded for myself.” She says, “Because I’m your mom. When I see you’re fine, happy and enjoying, I do whatever I can for you.” God is more of a mom than a mom is!
Have fun and be rewarded by God! Why does God reward you when you wake up at dawn? [You might say,] “It’s very hard!” Believe me, its reward is not because it’s hard. The reward is because of the cheerfulness, energy and health that you gain. God is like a mom. When a mom sees her child is successful, she becomes happy. She talks lovingly since she is a mom, “O my dear one!”

In recent years, there\'s been a lot of fuss concerning the missile defense systems of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
But this request by the enemies of the Islamic Republic to hand over the missile defense capabilities is easy to say, because they weren\'t under an 8 year imposed war where they couldn\'t defend themselves.
The Leader of the Islamic Republic, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, speaks about a time when missiles and bombs were being dropped on the major cities of Iran, and the Islamic Republic was helpless.
Yet, what did the Islamic Republic do when it was faced with such a great threat?
How did they turn this threat into an opportunity?
Who were the players who turned this threat into an opportunity?
And at what summit is the Islamic Republic today standing on? Has Iran produced precision-guided ballistic missiles? What about the cruise missiles? How precise are they?
Special footage of Shaheed Hasan Muqaddam and Shaheed Qasem Soleimani.
“And you threw not, [O’ Muhammad], when you threw, but it was Allah who threw.” [Qur\'an 8:17]

Salutations to all the believers across the world upon the blessed and holy day of Eid al-Fitr.
The day that marks the end of a whole month of fasting, forgiveness, blessings, and mercy.
But what is an unfortunate quagmire that us Muslims fall into when it comes to the auspicious and blessed day of Eid al-Fitr?
And what does the All-Mighty Allah say in the holy Qur\\\'an when it comes to this unfortunate quagmire that we Muslims fall into regarding the day of Eid al-Fitr?
Well, Sayyid Shahryar explains what we must steer clear from, on this beautiful day of Eid al-Fitr in this \\\'One Minute Wisdom\\\'.
And hey, remember, Be Strong and Stay United!

Who are the Ale-Saud family?
Who brought the Ale-Saud family into power?
Why were the graves in Jannatul Baqi desecrated and destroyed?
What were the relations between Sunnis and Shias before the bringing into power of the Ale-Saud by the British Empire?
What are the stances of the honorable Maraje\\\\\\\' regarding Sunni and Shia relations?
Is the Takfiri mindset a part of mainstream Sunni Islam?
What role has the Ale-Saud family had in spreading sectarianism across the Muslim World?
What has the Saudi regime done for the cause and goal of Muslim Unity?
Why do some individuals and groups push and promote the sectarian narrative?
Where does the Saudi regime stand when it comes to the critical issues of the Islamic World?
What has the Saudi regime done when it comes to the issue of Palestine and in support of the Palestinian people?
And what role does the Saudi regime have when it comes to the murder of innocent Yemenis?
Finally, why is the Saudi regime and the Ale-Saud family considered to be \\\\\\\"The Betrayers of the Two Holy Mosques\\\\\\\".
In order to answer these questions and more, we invited Shaykh Ali Qomi from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to speak to us about \\\\\\\"Al-Baqi & The Betrayers of the Two Holy Mosques\\\\\\\".
Our condolences to the Muslims all across the world, upon the desecration and demolition of one of Islam\\\\\\\'s oldest religious, cultural, and historical heritage sites by the name of Jannatul Baqi.
