As Lebanon is grappling with an influx of Syrian refugees, the latest UN figures highlights the extent of the crisis. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has said one out of five people living in Lebanon are refugees who have fled the conflict in neighboring Syria. Some 30 percent of the Refugees live in substandard shelters. Lebanon\\\'s government has refused to set up official camps for the refugees fearing a crisis similar to that of the Palestinian refugees 52 thousand of whom were living in Syria. Many of Syrian refugees are unregistered and undocumented migrants and live in hundreds of unofficial tent settlements on northern and eastern peripheries. The figures provided by the UNHCR do not include hundreds of thousands of refugees who are not registered. But estimates show that there could be over one million Syrian refugees in Lebanon living in tents like these. Some, 280,000 are children of school age, and over 70% very much dependent on any humanitarian aid they can get. The greatest suffering in the camps is seen in the eyes of the children. This boy was eager to go on television hoping that our presence would attract humanitarian aid. The women complain about how they\\\'re not getting enough help for their children: This man was a school teacher in Syria\\\'s Hama. Now he\\\'s trying to help create an educational center for children of school age, many of whom have not received any education for two years: Lebanon currently hosts the highest number of refugees from Syria. More than a million other Syrians have fled to Jordan and Turkey. The United Nations has warned that the number of Syrian refugees will almost double over the next year to top four million.

Three days of nuclear talks in Vienna between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN security council plus Germany have ended. Both sides say the discussions have been very productive and have identified all of the issues needed to be addressed in reaching a comprehensive and final agreement.Iran\'s foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and believes a comprehensive deal could be agreed on in the next five months. Iran\'s foreign minister says the P-five-plus-one negotiators have agreed that issues related to Iran\'s defense industry and scientific capabilities will not be part of the ongoing nuclear talks in Vienna. The P-five-plus-one representative Catherine Ashton said even though there is a lot to do, they have had a good start.The talks in Vienna marked the first round of high-level negotiations held between Tehran and the P5+1 group after they reached a landmark interim deal in Geneva in November. Iran and the five permanent members of the UN security council plus Germany will meet again in Vienna on the 17th of March. Technical meetings will also take place on the sidelines of the next IAEA meeting in early March. The talks are expected to be monthly for the next four months and both sides are aiming to complete a final deal in July.

Indian troops kill Five in Kashmir Police in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir have once again opened fire on protesters, killing at least Five and injuring more than two dozen others. According to police sources, after protests turned violent security forces were forced to open fire to disperse protesters in the southern town of Mendhar, a Press TV correspondent reported. The death toll is expected to rise as some of the injured are said to be in critical condition. The deaths have triggered more protests in neighboring Poonch district and surrounding areas with protestors attacking several police stations in the disputed Himalayan region. The regional administration has sought the help of Indian paramilitary forces to contain the situation in the predominantly Muslim region. In a separate incident, pro-independence demonstrators set fire to two government buildings to protest a round-the-clock curfew across Kashmir, which has been in place for four days now. Residents say they are running out of food and supplies. Kashmir has been the scene of violent clashes on an almost daily basis. A Saudi foreign policy advisor has expressed concern over a nuclear deal between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany. Abdullah al-Askar says Saudi Arabia would make efforts toward building a nuclear bomb, in case the deal fails to prevent Iran from what he called nuclear weapons. So far, the Saudi government has not shown any official reaction to the deal signed between Iran and the P-five-plus-one in Geneva.
