Actually, what makes an artist powerful in conveying his or her own view to others is his or her outlook. Sometimes that outlook itself makes a person an artist. How do you look at Hazrat Sakinah (‘a)? Have you seen that some girls are like this that they are very cheerful, articulate, honest and frank, even though the people around them may be bothered by what they say. They are very inquisitive and restless. They can’t stop themselves from saying what they want. They bring cheer to any meeting. At any gathering, without doing anything bad, they make the gathering warmer. Hazrat Sakinah (‘a) is the one, who called out when Imam Husayn (‘a) was near the Alqamah Stream, “Where is my uncle Abbas?” Hazrat Sakinah (‘a) is the one, who called out, “Come down Dad,” when he wanted to go. I think the older people were biting their lips and thinking, “Sakinah don’t say that and don’t break your father’s heart.” She said directly, “Dad, can you take us to Medina first and then go into the battlefield?” Sakinah is the one who came to her aunt Zaynab and said, “Auntie, whose body is this that you are talking to?” Sakinah talked with her father in such a way that Husayn’s cut throat began to answer her. This girl can’t be quieted. Sakinah is a busy, cheerful, active girl. From what time on was there no longer any news from her? She had this vibrancy all along the way. They whipped this girl so much that they made her quiet. The other women would hide this vibrant girl in the beginning so that these dishonourable men wouldn’t notice this vibrant girl. I think she changed when three-year-old Ruqayah left this world from the ruins. Sakinah, who helped with the children very much, wasn’t seen to be cheerful anymore. How do you look at Hazrat Sakinah? She was the vibrant girl whom they made quiet and depressed. I haven’t given you any new information! But, when you put these next to each other, you say, “Yes, that’s true!” What an opportunity these artists have! How they can play with people’s way of seeing things. This is their job, if they want to and have the ability. If they have a correct outlook, and then God gives them the talent, they can change your and my outlook. There are still opportunities for new stories to be told about Karbala. There are still opportunities for new images to be drawn about Karbala.

The 29th International Holy Quran Competitions started at Tehran\\\'s Milad Tower International Convention Center on Sunday. Officials and reciters of Holy Quran from more than 65 Muslim and non-Muslim countries have taken part in the six-day event, IRNA reported. Hojatloleslam Mohammadi Golpayegani, head of the Supreme Leader\\\'s office, Seyyed Mohammd Hosseini, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and Iranian MPs and ambassadors were present at the opening ceremony of the event. Representatives of 65 Muslim and non-Muslim countries took part in the 29th edition of Iran\\\'s International Holy Quran Competitions. The jury of the contest has 14 members, 5 of whom are Iranian and the rest are from other countries. A Quran memorizer from Isfahan province and a Quran reciter from Khuzestan province will represent Iran in the memorization and recitation sections of the international event. Iranians win first prizes at 29th International Quran Competition An Iranian Quran reciter and a memorizer won the first prizes at the 29th International Quran Competition, the organizers announced in Tehran on Friday. Qasem Moqaddami received the first prize in the recitation category and Hossein Motamedi won the first prize in the memorization category, Persian news agencies reported on Saturday. They were selected from among over 50 reciters and 40 memorizers competing from about 70 countries. Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini, and a number of Iranian officials attended an award presentation ceremony held at Tehran�s Milad Tower on Friday. The second prize in the recitation category was handed to Ezzat Sayyid Rashid from Egypt and the third prize went to Mahmood Salman Ali from Bahrain. Reciter Sabruddin Abdulrahman from Indonesia was selected as the fourth winner and the fifth was Najam ul Hassan from Bangladesh. In the memorization category, the second prize was given to Ainul Arefin Rafiqul Islam from Bangladesh, while Abdullah Omar from Libya got the third prize. The fourth and fifth awards were handed to Mahdi Khair Al-Balil from Sudan, and Abdul Malik Muhammad Rahim from Afghanistan. A jury panel of 14 selected from Egypt, Malaysia, Algeria, Indonesia, Syria, Iraq, Turkey, Lebanon and Iran judged the event. Egyptian master Quran reciter Ahmed Naina was among the jury members for this year�s competition.

More tensions along the border between India and Pakistan; at least a dozen people have been injured as the two sides exchange fire over the Kashmir border. Several children were among those injured. The fresh round of violence started at border posts along the frontier on Thursday. Pakistani officials have accused Indian troops of initiating the violence by firing along the frontier and injuring two people. Similarly, India has accused the Pakistani side of violating the ceasefire by firing mortars on at least 50 Indian border posts. Skirmishes along the border have intensified despite the first face-to-face meeting between the Pakistani prime minister and his Indian counterpart in New York last month.

At least nine people have been killed and dozens wounded in different incidents across Iraq. The deadliest incident that involved six fatalities took place in the northern city of Kirkuk when gunmen attacked a shopping mall. Officials say the shootout with the gunmen lasted for two hours. At least 47 people are believed to have been injured in the gun battle. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack as of yet. But such incidents are usually blamed on militants affiliated to al-Qaeda, who have strongholds around Kirkuk. At least three other people are said to have been killed in separate incidents in Baghdad, Fallujah and Tikrit. Violence in Iraq has surged over the past few months. The fatalities from the start of the year so far have now exceeded 62-hundred.

The World Health Organization says at least 22 people in Syria, mostly babies have been infected by the polio disease. The organization confirmed that this would be the first outbreak of the illness in Syria in 14 years. The country\'s health ministry has begun a vaccination drive. There are more than 100-thousand children now at risk of polio in Deir Ezzor province alone, which has been caught in fighting between Syrian government forces and foreign-backed militants. The country has been going through unrest since March 2011, which has cost the lives of over a hundred-thousand people there.

Clashes have once again erupted between Egyptian police and students at Cairo\'s al-Azhar University. Egyptian security forces fired tear gas to disperse students protesting in support of ousted President Mohamed Morsi. The protesters managed to take their march outside the university campus and blocked a main road as they chanted against the military that ousted Morsi in July. The protesters were seen throwing rocks at security forces and a number of students were arrested. There are no immediate reports on casualties. Clashes also erupted on Sunday when students tried to move their protest out of the campus.
