Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan receives a hero's welcome on his return home after his spat with Israel over its war on Gaza.
Erdogan stormed off stage at the World Economic Forum in the Swiss resort of Davos on Thursday during a heated discussion over Israel's 23-day assault on the Gaza Strip.
He told Israeli President Shimon Peres, who had launched a fiery defense of Tel Aviv's attack on the coastal enclave over the past month, that Israel "knows very well how to kill".
More than 1,330 Palestinians, a third of them children, were killed and 5,450 others injured since Israel waged its Cast Lead Operation against Gaza on December 27.
The Turkish premier vowed he would never return to the annual gathering of the rich and powerful in Davos.
Around 3,000 supporters gathered at Istanbul's Ataturk airport on Friday, waving red and white Turkish flags and banners reading "Conqueror of Davos" upon Erdogan arrival.
Many carried banners denouncing Israel, a move which raises concern among the Jewish State as Ankara is its closest ally in the Islamic world.
"I did what I had to do," Erdogan told reporters gathered at the airport, adding, "I cannot remain apathetic when it comes to these things, it's just not in my nature. I am duty-bound to defend the honor of my country."
He said that he was not "at heart a diplomat but a politician."

Al-Quds Rally Quetta Pakistan - More than 42 Martyred in Suicide attack - Sept 03 2010 - English
At least 43 people were killed and 80 injured in a suicide attack targeting a Shia Muslim rally in Pakistan's southwest city Quetta.
The bomber was among the 450-strong crowd and detonated on reaching the main square in the city on Friday, triggering chaotic scenes, with people setting fires as others fled or lay on the ground to avoid ongoing gunfire.
The bomb appeared to target the rally being held for Al-Quds day, an international event held every year by the Shia community, opposing Israel's control of Jerusalem and showing solidarity with Palestinian Muslims.
It is the second time this week the Shia minority has been targeted with a deadly attack.
Al Jazeera's Tarek Bazely reports.

[22 June 2012] Water occupation - Remember Palestine - English
On December 13, 2011, the French National Assembly issued a 320-page report entitled, The Geopolitics of Water, which dedicated 20 pages to an alleged water war between Israelis and Palestinians. Employing the incendiary term apartheid, the report's lead author, Jean Glavany, accused Israel of usurping Palestinian water sources and showing favoritism to 450,000 settlers who purportedly use more water than 2.3 million Palestinians in the West Bank. This year the UN also reported from the 530 springs they surveyed in the West Bank 30, mostly in areas where Israel retains military control, were taken over by the settlers.
It added that Palestinians currently had limited access to 26 other springs where settlers had moved in and threatened to take control. This month, local security forces in Jenin said that the bulldozers destroyed the well near Beit ad village, north of Jenin. The well belonged to a Palestinian resident of Tubas and provided water for tens of acres in Beit Qad plain. Sources added that a handful of military machinery, supported by two bulldozers were in the area during the destruction of the well. The governor of Jenin, Talal Dweikat, denounced the destruction of the well which he described as designed to fight the rights of Palestinians. Dweikat also said that this issue has come to shape an important worry for all districts in Palestine, especially Jenin which has been suffering continuously from similar attacks.

In Egypt, officials say voters have overwhelmingly approved a constitution which was drafted by the military-installed government and boycotted by the opposition.
The Interior Ministry says based on preliminary results 95-percent of participants approved the draft. The government says the turnout may exceed fifty-five percent. The result could pave the way for the army chief to announce his candidacy for president. The two-day referendum which ended on Wednesday evening was marred by violent clashes between security forces and protesters. At least eleven people were killed. Nearly 450 people, mostly Muslim Brotherhood supporters were also arrested in the past two days.

This is my way of saying thank you to each and everyone of you, so I decided to make the most amazing and easy chocolate dessert!
Ing:
Heat oven to 450 degrees and bake for 12 to 15 minutes
6 tbsp melted butter
1 cup chocolate (I used ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate)
3 eggs beaten
1 tbsp instant coffee (optional)
1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste
1/3 cup white flour
1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting
5 raspberries for garnish
1 tsp unsalted butter for coating the ramekins
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (only for coating the ramekins)
couple mint leaves to garnish (optional)
pinch of salt
2 8 oz ramekins
Method:
In a big microwave bowl melt the butter and add the chocolate chips and stir to melt, if needed can be stuck back in the microwave to make a nice smooth mixture. Keep it aside and butter your ramekins and also coat it with a light dusting of the cocoa. In the same bowl you have the butter and chocolate mixture add the beaten eggs, coffee, vanilla, give this mixture a good stir lastly add the flour in it and again mix it really well till all the ingredients have combined really well finish it by adding the pinch of salt and you are all set to put these in the oven. Bake for 12 to 15 min, monitor the cakes starting at 10 min the sides should be cooked and the middle should be soft and it should be a little concave in the center. Very gently flip it on to a plate you want to serve and be careful the ramekins are going to be hot, dust with powdered sugar, add the mint leaves and raspberries and enjoy!
This can also be made earlier and popped in the oven just before serving it to your guests.
