Well, we\'re talking about the ins and outs of Awaiting the Imam of our Age (A).
What are the two kinds of people that are awaiting the Imam of our Age (A)?
What are some of the characteristics of the activist?
And what is \'an awaiting activist;?
And what makes an awaiting activist different from an awaiting pacifist?
What does the awaiting activist do with the limited time that they have in their life, vis-à-vis the Imam of Our Time (A)?
And finally, how will you answer if someone asks you, \"Are You An Awaiting Activist?\"
Sister Spade explains and answers these questions and more, based upon selections from the book, The Essence of Creation, 3rd edition.
It\'s time to understand the true meaning of awaiting the Imam (A) of your time.

Palestinian medics treat Maltese peace activist Bianca Zimmit at al-Aqsa hospital in the central Gaza Strip on April 24, 2010.
After the Israeli forces shot and injured a Maltese national during a pro-Palestinian protest in Gaza, Malta's Foreign Ministry moves to condemn the attack.
Twenty-eight-year-old Maltese activist Bianca Zimmit was wounded by a live Israeli round on Saturday during a demonstration against Tel Aviv's decision to declare large parts of Gaza's arable land a "no-go" area, Ma'an news agency reported.
In a Sunday statement, the Maltese Foreign Ministry "deplored and condemned in the strongest possible terms" Zimmit's shooting, Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz reported.
Local residents and international activists had gathered around the restricted zone in the central Gaza Strip to protest the ban that makes 20 percent of arable lands inaccessible to farmers.
The zone reportedly intrudes into the Strip beyond the areas from which Israel is supposed to have withdrawn in 2005.
The Sunday Times of Malta quoted Zammit as saying that "We were not doing anything illegal. I don't expect to be shot for holding a Palestinian flag or holding a camera, especially since we were chanting peaceful songs."
Israeli troops also injured five more protesters including a 22-year-old, who was shot in the stomach, Ma'an reported.

French lawmakers approve burqa ban
French lawmakers have ratified a legislation to prohibit women from wearing face-covering veils despite right activist saying such a law violates personal and religious freedoms.
The Senate voted 246 to 1 in favor of the bill, which has already cleared the lower chamber, the National Assembly, reported AFP.
The law will come into effect if the Constitutional Council does not question its legality.
Muslims argue that the legislation is going to discriminates against France's Muslim population, which is already facing rising level of Islamophobia.
Once in place, the law will allow authorities to arrest and fine those women who defy the ban.
A woman who continues wearing veils will receive a fine of EUR 150 (USD 195) or a course of citizenship lessons. A man who forces a woman to go veiled will be fined EUR 30,000 and imprisonment.
France is home to the largest Muslim population among the 27 European Union member states. Nearly 10 percent of the 62 million people living in French is Muslim.
In June, members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) unanimously voted against any general ban against burqa or niqab in Europe, saying Muslim women should be free to choose their clothing.

The Gulf nation of Bahrain is intensifying its crackdown on pro-democracy protesters. On Saturday, masked police offers broke into the home of Abdulhadi Alkhawaja, a prominent Bahraini human rights activist. He was beaten and detained. We speak to his daughter, Zainab Alkhawaja, who witnessed the attack and is now on a hunger strike. Her husband and brother-in-law were also beaten and arrested in the pre-dawn raid. We also speak to Nabeel Rajab, the president of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights. He is facing a possible military trial for publishing the photograph of Ali Sager, a protester who died while in Bahraini custody. Laila El-Haddad is a talented blogger, journalist, social media activist, and parent-of-two from Gaza. She is author of the recently published book Gaza Mom: Palestine Politics, Parenting, and Everything in Between, based on the award-winning blog she has written since 2004, and contributing author to The Goldstone Report: The landmark Investigation of the Gaza Conflict.
She received her B.A. from Duke University and her MPP from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
From 2003-2006, El-Haddad was the Gaza stringer for the Al-Jazeera English website and contributed regularly to the BBC and the Guardian. She has also been published in the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the International Herald Tribune, and The New Statesman, among others, and has appeared on CNN and NPR. In 2007, she co-directed the award-winning Gaza-based documentary Tunnel Trade.
A running theme in El-Haddad's writing is the personalization of the situation of Gazans and Palestinians, a topic to which she brings her characteristic wry humor and introspective humanity about her daily life and those of other Gazans.

Miko Peled is a peace activist who dares to say in public what others still choose to deny. Born in Jerusalem in 1961 into a well known Zionist family, his grandfather, Dr. Avraham Katsnelson was a Zionist leader and signer of the Israeli Declaration of Independence. His Father, Matti Peled, was a young officer in the war of 1948 and a general in the war of 1967 when Israel conquered the West Bank, Gaza, Golan Heights and Sinai.
Miko's unlikely opinions reflect his father's legacy. General Peled was a war hero turned peacemaker.
Miko grew up in Jerusalem, a multi-ethnic city, but had to leave Israel before he made his first Palestinian friend, the result of his participation in a dialogue group in California. He was 39.
On September 4, 1997 the beloved Smadar, 13, the daughter of Miko's sister Nurit and her husband Rami Elhanan was killed in a suicide attack.
Peled insists that Israel/Palestine is one state—the separation wall notwithstanding, massive investment in infrastructure, towns and highways that bisect and connect settlements on the West Bank, have destroyed the possibility for a viable Palestinian state. The result, Peled says is that Israelis and Palestinians are governed by the same government but live under different sets of laws.
At the heart of Peled's conclusion lies the realization that Israelis and Palestinians can live in peace as equals in their shared homeland.

The United States is slowly turning into a 'police state' and people are being controlled more and more by police state apparatus, an American peace activist says.
"We have to go through full body X-ray machines to get on flights," Cindy Sheehan told Press TV's US desk on Monday.
On Tuesday morning, over a dozen SWAT -- Special Weapons and Tactics -- officers broke into a house in California and detained a man, handcuffed him, put him and his three children, aged 3, 7 and 11, in a cruiser and commenced to search his house, she said.
The man was questioned for hours, all because of his ex-wife's overdue student loans.
Sheehan described the incident as “oppressive.”
"Of course we have seen such [incidents]. When we had a demo at the G-20, the last one was in Pittsburg, and there were more heavily armed police officers… I myself was there. I got tear gassed, I got shot at with rubber bullets, chased by the police just for exercising our freedom of speech!"
"The most damning thing that shows that the United States is in the process of [a] police state is the recent passage of the USA Patriot Act which basically makes the Constitution of the United States null and void," said Sheehan.
A SWAT team is an elite tactical unit in various national law enforcement departments. They are trained to perform high-risk operations that fall outside of the abilities of regular officers.
The first SWAT team in the US was established in the Los Angeles Police Department in 1968.
