Bahraini security forces have once again clashed with anti-government protesters in the suburbs of the capital Manama.
The clashes broke out in the village of Sanabis following the funeral of 15-year old Ahmad Abdul-Amir Ali. He was critically injured in an explosion near a warehouse on Friday. Reports say Ahmad died because the ambulance taking him to hospital was stopped by security forces. Bahrain\'s main opposition group al-Wefaq called the teenager a martyr and urged people to participate in his funeral.

The rocket fell in an open area in Eshkol Regional Council. An explosion was reportedly heard in the nearby area but no injuries or damage has been reported. A prominent human rights group accuses Israel of presenting no evidence in the case of killing two Palestinian teenagers in the West Bank in 2013.
Human Rights Watch says Israeli forces hid near schools and killed two children who posed no threats to them. In January 2013, Samir Awad was shot three times in the leg, back and head. The 16-year-old was about 250 meters away from his school when he was shot. Also in December, an Israeli soldier shot dead 16-year-old Wajih al-Ramahi in an area between his school and a market. The HRW says there is no justification for the use of live ammunitions in either of the cases. Last week, another Palestinian teenager died of the wounds he sustained after being shot by Israeli soldiers near the Gaza border.

[06 Aug 2012] Saudi Sunnis Shias seek democracy Hisham Jaber - English
Protesters have held a demonstration against the repressive regime of Al Saud in Tarout Island of Saudi Arabia.
The demonstrators on Sunday condemned the recent killing of a teenager by the Saudi police.
The protesters in Tarout also expressed solidarity with prominent detained Shia cleric Sheikh Nemr al-Nemr, who was attacked, injured and arrested by the security forces of the Al Saud regime while driving from a farm to his house in Qatif on July 8.
However, the demonstrations have turned into protests against the Al Saud regime, especially since November 2011, when Saudi security forces killed five protesters and injured many others in the Eastern Province.
According to Human Rights Watch, the Saudi regime "routinely represses expression critical of the government."
Press TV has conducted an interview with Hisham Jaber, director of the Middle East Studies Center, from Beirut, to further discuss the issue.

The UK military has been asked to provide some 3,500 extra troops to guard the Olympic Games. The security duties for the event have been contracted in part to the private security firm G4S. Another Bahraini activist has fallen victim to the Al Khalifah regime\'s crackdown on dissent. This time, regime forces have shot and killed a 17-year-old. Viewer discretion is advised as the footage you\'re about to see contains graphic images. Reports from the tiny Persian Gulf kingdom say Ali Khalil al-Sabbagh was shot in the head in Bani Jamrah today. He had previously been arrested by the regime. On its Twitter account, Bahrain\'s Interior Ministry accused Sabbagh of being a terrorist and claimed he was trying to plant a bomb. The Bahraini security forces have also arrested Sabbagh\'s father. After news of the teenager\'s death broke, Bahrainis took to the streets across the island and held demonstrations.

Israeli forces open fire on a Palestinian teenager and kill him near the West Bank city of Ramallah.
The shooting took place just north of the Israeli settlement of Ofra. Palestinian medical and security officials say the victim is 18-year-old Mohammad Mubarak, who lived in the Jalazone refugee camp. Palestinian sources said Mubarak was a laborer on a US-aid project in the area. Israeli officials have confirmed the deadly shooting. However, they claimed that Mohammad was a \"terrorist\" who was shot dead after opening fire on Israeli forces. Many Palestinians including women and children get killed or maimed by Israeli forces despite repeated outcries by human rights groups.
