Political turmoil in Egypt. The country\'s constituent assembly has approved a new draft constitution. The Muslim Brotherhood has already rejected the charter.
The Brotherhood has slammed interim authorities, saying they\'re distorting Egypt\'s legitimate constitution which was adopted during Mohammed Morsi\'s presidency. The final draft was approved by a 50-member constituent assembly and will now be handed to the military-backed interim president. Adly Mansour is expected to set a date for a referendum on the charter. The draft calls for elections, parliamentary or presidential, within 90 days after the adoption of the constitution. If approved, the new constitution will strengthen the army\'s hand. It will also forbid the formation of parties based on religious grounds.

A group of youth revolutionaries, lawyers and rights activist have rallied in the Yemeni capital Sana\'a condemning the purchase of Yemeni Liquefied Natural Gas by France way below the international price market.
The protesters slammed the French company, TOTAL for depriving Yemen of full and fair compensation for its L-N-G sales. Yemeni protesters called for an immediate end to the L-N-G contract between their country and TOTAL. For the past 19 years the French giant has been purchasing L-N-G for 3 dollars per million BTU. Reports say that\'s 11 dollars less than the average international market price of L-N-G sales.

The Israeli interior minister says a settlement in the strategic Jordan Valley must not be given to Palestinians.
Gideon Saar said the settlement along the Jordanian border must belong to Israel forever. The area is a main focus of a new round of talks between the Palestinian Authority and Israel. This, as US Secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in Israel to mediate the so-called peace negotiations. The top US diplomat had given both sides a nine-month deadline to reach a deal, but they\'re now four months into the deadline, with little progress. Meanwhile, people of the Gaza city have held a rally against the resumption of the direct talks. The Palestinians have slammed Tel Aviv\'s settlement constructions as one of the main obstacles to peace.

Latest media reports from Syria say insurgents fighting against the government plan to use a group of nuns kidnapped from their convent in the town of Ma\'loula as human shields.
The 12 Syrian and Lebanese nuns were kidnapped from a Greek Orthodox convent after the notorious al-Nusra Front militants took over parts of the Christian town. The nuns were then taken to Yabrud - a town under insurgent control north of Damascus. This, as Syrian forces have been deployed to the historic town to restore security there. The militants took over the town on Monday after rolling explosive-filled tires down the hills onto government forces, following three days of intense fighting. The kidnappings have drawn condemnation from the Vatican. Iran has also slammed the assault on the Christian religious site and called for the immediate release of the nuns. It\'s also urged the international community to take immediate action to prevent such criminal acts from taking place in the future.

The Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution has urged all Iranians to be prepared to continue the fight against arrogant powers.
Speaking to a group of Iranian students, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the fight against global arrogance cannot be called off. The Leader stressed if there is no fight against arrogance, then the people won’t be true followers of the Quran. Ayatollah Khamenei made the comments in response to a question by a student who asked if the battle against arrogant powers will stop after a nuclear deal between Iran and the P-five-plus-one. The Leader also slammed the U-S as the perfect example of arrogance. Meanwhile, Ayatollah Khamenei spoke of the situation in Yemen. He strongly criticized the U-N for its silence towards Saudi Arabia’s unrelenting war on the impoverished country. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said he Security Council has issued only one resolution on Yemen in which it condemned those who are under the Saudi bombardment and not Riyadh, which bombards the Yemenis. Ayatollah Khamenei described it as one of the most disgraceful resolutions. The Leader added that Riyadh has been pounding Yemen for 100 days to take revenge against Iran over the country’s spiritual influence across the region. The Leader said the U-S officials and the quote-backward Arab governments admit to Iran’s wide spiritual presence in the region in their private talks.

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri has said in a statement that the presence of an international force under a peace deal with Israel would be no different from the Israeli occupation. He urged the United States to revise its position since Hamas won\'t allow anyone to undermine its rights. Abu Zuhri also called for a united front of factions to reject the so-called peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority and their outcome. He further said that the Kerry plan was put together by Americans and the Zionist entity to eradicate the Palestinian cause.
