Bahraini forces also fired tear gas at a residential building in Sanabis village on the outskirts of the capital Manama. The biggest rally was held in the village of Diraz. Earlier, protests were held on Sitra Island as well as the town of A\'ali and Barbar village. Iraqi Vice President Nouri al-Maliki has condemned the executions as a shameful act and heinous crime. He said Manama is practicing execution as a form of authoritarian behavior and revenge against peaceful people. The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has also slammed the executions, warning that they would undermine any chance for a political solution in Bahrain.

[Speech] - Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah | Day of Injured - 12 May 2016 - Arabic
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, says the US and its regional allies have nurtured Takfiri and barbaric terrorist groups in the region...
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, says the US and its regional allies have nurtured Takfiri and barbaric terrorist groups in the region to break the spirit of the anti-Israeli resistance.
Today, the US, Israel, and the West have a problem, called the axis of resistance, which is embodied in Iran, Syria as well as the resistance movements in Lebanon and Palestine, Nasrallah said in a speech on Thursday
He blamed the US for the rise of the Daesh terrorist group, saying Washington is using the Takfiri group to pursue its own agenda.
Nasrallah also condemned the deadly Daesh bomb attacks that have claimed over 90 lives in the Iraqi capital Baghdad over the past 48 hours.
Describing Daesh terror activities as barbaric, the Hezbollah chief said the Takfiri group takes revenge against people and carries out bombings and acts of aggression whenever it incurs losses in Syria, Iraq or Lebanon.
“When Daesh faces defeat in Palmyra, it attacks Damascus. And when it loses in the eastern mountain range, it retaliates in Dahiyeh,” Lebanon, added the Hezbollah chief.
Daesh takes pride in killing women and children, Nasrallah stressed.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Nasrallah said the West has problems with the movements and people who reject Israeli occupation of Palestine as well as foreign hegemony in the region.
They do not want a united Islamic Ummah, he added.
Nasrallah also slammed the crackdown on resistance media, saying such attempts to stifle the voice of resistance come while Daesh-linked media outlets enjoy freedom in their propaganda campaign.

The Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution has urged all Iranians to be prepared to continue the fight against arrogant powers.
Speaking to a group of Iranian students, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the fight against global arrogance cannot be called off. The Leader stressed if there is no fight against arrogance, then the people won’t be true followers of the Quran. Ayatollah Khamenei made the comments in response to a question by a student who asked if the battle against arrogant powers will stop after a nuclear deal between Iran and the P-five-plus-one. The Leader also slammed the U-S as the perfect example of arrogance. Meanwhile, Ayatollah Khamenei spoke of the situation in Yemen. He strongly criticized the U-N for its silence towards Saudi Arabia’s unrelenting war on the impoverished country. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said he Security Council has issued only one resolution on Yemen in which it condemned those who are under the Saudi bombardment and not Riyadh, which bombards the Yemenis. Ayatollah Khamenei described it as one of the most disgraceful resolutions. The Leader added that Riyadh has been pounding Yemen for 100 days to take revenge against Iran over the country’s spiritual influence across the region. The Leader said the U-S officials and the quote-backward Arab governments admit to Iran’s wide spiritual presence in the region in their private talks.

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas says it will not allow the presence of an international force in a future Palestinian state.
Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri has said in a statement that the presence of an international force under a peace deal with Israel would be no different from the Israeli occupation. He urged the United States to revise its position since Hamas won\'t allow anyone to undermine its rights. Abu Zuhri also called for a united front of factions to reject the so-called peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority and their outcome. He further said that the Kerry plan was put together by Americans and the Zionist entity to eradicate the Palestinian cause. Earlier, Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh slammed the talks, saying the resistance movement would not be bound by any deal with Israel.

The protesters slammed the French company, TOTAL for depriving Yemen of full and fair compensation for its L-N-G sales. Yemeni protesters called for an immediate end to the L-N-G contract between their country and TOTAL. For the past 19 years the French giant has been purchasing L-N-G for 3 dollars per million BTU. Norway\'s huge sovereign wealth fund has blacklisted two Israeli firms involved in the construction of settlements in East Jerusalem al-Quds.
The sanctioned companies are Africa Israel Investments, which is an Israeli real-estate developer, and its construction subsidiary, Danya Cebus. The world\'s biggest wealth fund has slammed their construction activities as a contribution to serious violation of individual rights in the occupied territories. The move is the renewal of a three-year ban on investment in these firms. It was repealed by the Government Pension Fund of Norway in August last year. Israeli settlements are illegal under international law. Recently, the European Union asked Tel Aviv not to announce new settlement constructions. It said such an act would be an acute threat to the progress of the so-called peace talks between the Palestinian Authority and Israelis.

The Israeli interior minister says a settlement in the strategic Jordan Valley must not be given to Palestinians.
Gideon Saar said the settlement along the Jordanian border must belong to Israel forever. The area is a main focus of a new round of talks between the Palestinian Authority and Israel. This, as US Secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in Israel to mediate the so-called peace negotiations. The top US diplomat had given both sides a nine-month deadline to reach a deal, but they\'re now four months into the deadline, with little progress. Meanwhile, people of the Gaza city have held a rally against the resumption of the direct talks. The Palestinians have slammed Tel Aviv\'s settlement constructions as one of the main obstacles to peace.

Lebanon\\\'s first man has also kicked off talks with Lebanese rival factions in a bid to help Prime-Minister Designate \\\"Tammam Salam\\\" form a cabinet line-up prior to the two-month constitutional period. The cabinet line-up formation however has been in limbo for the past 9 months namely due to the Saudi-backed March 14 Bloc\\\'s boycott of parliamentary sessions citing Hezbollah\\\'s intervention in Syria as a pretext. The Saudi-backed March 14th Bloc is now calling for a neutral line-up while the Hezbollah-led March 8th is calling for an all-embracing cabinet while rejecting a De-Facto one. The proposal of a neutral cabinet has also been slammed by Lebanese Druze Leader Walid Jumblat who warned it would be a \\\"leap into the unknown\\\". Meanwhile, the Free Patriotic Movement has accused the March 14th Bloc of paving the way for a presidential vacuum through the continued boycott of parliamentary sessions dubbing the movement\\\'s obstruction of government institutions as part of instructions taken from their regional allies pre-Geneva II talks. The Free Patriotic Movement MP also highlighted what he described as an alarming pledge by Riyadh\\\'s ambassador to London who vowed continued military and financial support for the foreign-backed groups fighting in Syria even if Saudi Arabia goes it alone. The MP warned the March 14th Bloc of following their Saudi ally\\\'s footsteps as well. Though Lebanon\\\'s President has vowed a smooth transition of power rebuffing any attempt to extend his mandate, fears of a vacuum at the presidential post are simmering in Beirut for their grave consequences on Lebanon. Lebanese leaders are warning that the presidential vacuum added to the cabinet limbo would tow the country into security, political and constitutional chaos.

Latest media reports from Syria say insurgents fighting against the government plan to use a group of nuns kidnapped from their convent in the town of Ma\'loula as human shields.
The 12 Syrian and Lebanese nuns were kidnapped from a Greek Orthodox convent after the notorious al-Nusra Front militants took over parts of the Christian town. The nuns were then taken to Yabrud - a town under insurgent control north of Damascus. This, as Syrian forces have been deployed to the historic town to restore security there. The militants took over the town on Monday after rolling explosive-filled tires down the hills onto government forces, following three days of intense fighting. The kidnappings have drawn condemnation from the Vatican. Iran has also slammed the assault on the Christian religious site and called for the immediate release of the nuns. It\'s also urged the international community to take immediate action to prevent such criminal acts from taking place in the future.
