An Israeli court has extended the house arrest of the mentally-ill Palestinian teenager Ahmad Dawuod Obeid.The 19-year-old was beaten and arrested by Israeli forces back in August in Issawiya, near Jerusalem al-Quds. Ahmad appeared in court several times on charges of throwing stones at Israeli forces. He faced a heavy fine and was later released on condition that he remains under house arrest.

On December 30th, 2015, activists and concerned Canadians assembled in front of the Nigerian High Commission in Ottawa to protest the mass murder and genocide of innocent Muslims in Zaria, Nigeria.
The rally began with numerous chants condemning the genocide and unjust detention of Shaikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky. Protesters chanted slogans such as \"Nigerian army and Boko Haram are the same, the only difference is the name.\", \"Long live Zakzaky\", Free free Zakzaky\"
The Spoken word by the youths highlighted the cowardly act of the Nigerian army while the speeches condemn the genocide and demanded immediate release of Shaikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky. The protesters displayed their fury and anger toward the Nigerian army that on one hand failed to release the abducted girls from Boko Haram while on the other hand were busy killing innocent Muslim\'s citizen.
Protesters young and old stood strong in the harsh weather conditions standing up for the rights of humanity. The protesters endured it all to continue the mission of Truth and Justice in the footstep of Shaikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.
