It\'s been more than three weeks since vital supply route for the US led forces stationed in neighboring Afghanistan remains blocked in the North West of Pakistan. The supply route at Torkham border has been blocked by activists of religious and political parties to protest against the US assassination drone strikes in the tribal areas.
However, the move by the provincial government, which is run by Tehreek-e-Insaf or Justice Party, has put the central government in difficult position. That is why these top Pakistani civil and military authorities gathered in Islamabad to find a way out of the ongoing standoff. Despite efforts by the central government, the provincial administration has refused to allow trucks carrying supplies for the US forces in Afghanistan pass through the Torkham border.Pakistan is considered important for the US to ensure its forces\' smooth pull out of Afghanistan. The US has recently threatened to suspend billions of dollars in aid to Pakistan if supply routes are not reopened. In the face off continuing US drone attacks, Pakistan\'s civil and military leadership has promised to safeguard the country\'s national interests. However, they have not been able to come up with a clear strategy to pacify the growing public anger against the CIA\'s illegal and deadly drone campaign.

The annual European Union Budget is worth hundreds of billions of euro and now those in charge of administering it are admitting that huge amounts of taxpayers\' cash are being siphoned off by fraudsters. Member states are failing to adequately deal with the fraud problem so the EU Commission says it is setting up a European Public Prosecutor\'s Office which apparently will take a zero tolerance approach. The Commission estimates that €500m is lost each year through crimes against the EU Budget. At present only 42% of suspected cases are prosecuted. The Commission says the new prosecutor\'s office will pursue approximately 2,500 new cases each year. The office will commence work on the 1st of January 2015.

US Muslim Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar have triggered a widespread debate in the US about Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians and American aid to the regime, says an African American journalist in Detroit.
US President Donald Trump “demonizes both Rashida Tlaib as well as Ilhan Omar,\" said Abayomi Azikiwe, editor at the Pan-African News Wire.
“This has sparked a debate inside the United States over US aid to Israel, which is tens of billions of dollars just over a period of a decade,” Azikiwe said in a phone interview with Press TV on Tuesday.
Tlaib and Omar, the first two Muslim women elected to Congress, are outspoken critics of Israel’s policies toward the Palestinians and vocal supporters of the Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) movement.

Iranian presidential candidate Ali Akbar Velayati says it is possible to fix the Islamic Republic\'s economic problems by reforming the country\'s foreign policy.
The Iranian former foreign minister made the remarks in a televised interview in Tehran on Monday.
\"The issue of foreign affairs... and the domestic economy have close ties to one another,\" he said.
Velayati, who is currently serving as an advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, stated that he would pursue Iran\'s nuclear rights if elected in the upcoming presidential election. \"I would like to assure our dear people that we will solve the nuclear issue by preserving the nuclear rights and we will boost international relations without relinquishing an iota of Iran\'s rights.\"
The Principlist candidate added that Iran has \"billions of dollars in foreign countries,\" and that \"we need an active diplomacy,\" to return it.
He also emphasized boosting the country\'s economy by privatizing state-run sectors, increasing production, and fully implementing the state subsidy program.
Velayati will be contending against lawmaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel, Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili, Expediency Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei, President of the Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Council Hassan Rohani, former First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, and former Telecommunications Minister Mohammad Gharazi.
Iranians will go to the polls in the nation\'s 11th presidential election on June 14. The 4th city and rural council elections are also scheduled to be held on the same day.
The president of Iran is elected for a four-year term in a national election, and the Guardian Council vets the candidates.

[27 May 2012] Egypt holds first free presidential election - The Real Deal - English
Egyptians went to the polls in their first ever free presidential election during this week. Who becomes president and indeed what the president's powers would be are still unknown. A run-off vote is scheduled for 16th and 17th of June in case no candidate gets more than 50 percent of the votes. France and Germany are at loggerheads over what to do about Greek-Euro economic issue as the new French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel took part at the European Union Summit. After months hype about the float of Facebook which has billions of users worldwide, the appetite for its shares collapsed after the initial launch on Friday. Shares opened at 38 dollars each but they are now being traded at 31 dollars valuing the company 4 billion dollars less than it was just a week ago.

Almost a week has passed since Iran and the P5+1 group of countries reached a deal to resolve their differences over Tehran\'s nuclear program. Hundreds of thousands dead, many more displaced and a country brought to the brink by the mishmash policies of the west.
Marking the tenth anniversary of the invasion of Afghanistan is a sobering milestone in British history.
With hundreds of British military personnel killed and many more injured, billions spent on the war-effort, the British public have rightly turned even more against this conflict.
In this edition of the show we examine Britain's role in the Afghan disaster.

A Gathering of Love and Vitality
Agha Ali Reza Panahian
The world is a world of brands and advertising. In such a world, some people spend billions to make a brand name. Then, they trade with that brand. We don’t have a good packaging industry for our cultural products. We don’t know how to introduce them.
We have an extremely superb, delicate, and beautiful humane event, which is crying due to love. The people of the world wish for a moment of the times, which you easily have in your hands and are drowned in, to be able to experience it for a moment. If they can affect people with a movie or TV show for a moment, like the moments when you easily cry in the religious meetings, and they make people cry, that movie will become universal.
It is easy to make people laugh. But, making people cry, especially due to love, can’t be easily found. It can’t be found in the world. “What are they doing?” The people of the world don’t believe that you can cry due to enjoying, due to an epic, and due to very deep feelings of affection. This is a cultural and humane product. We are unable to introduce this. No one is aware of it.
Such that, you have definitely seen it, a religious leader in the west in a very large amphitheatre starts chanting and reading a recitation. He tells everyone, “Stand up and beat your chests as I read.” The custom that you have, the truth that exists, the event that occurs, the harmony that exists in a crowd and they all become a chorus, and they all do the same thing, is so attractive in the world.
An action like beating the chest, which you do in religious gatherings, is sweet and attractive for the people of the world. Don’t think they even have one percent of this. No, no. Your chest beating is very different to what happens there.
I went to Canada. Some young, intelligent, Iranian students said, “Sir, we really need an ethics class here.” I said, “Actually it is not like that at all. If you want an ethics class, go near their dance parties on Sundays. See how tired, depressed and forlorn they are when they come out. Then, remember in Iran how cheerful people are when they come out of religious meetings. Compare these two, and see what is going on where.”

With all the different current events going on in the world, we all really need a funny, relaxed, refreshing, and yet eye-opening commentary on it all.
Sayyid Shahryar\\\'s here to humbly shed a little insight into all that\\\'s going on around the world; past, present, and perhaps even future.
In this episode part 2, we\\\'re \\\"Keepin\\\' It Real\\\" by continuing to talk about the brave people of Yemen and how they are \\\"Barefooted, But Deadly II\\\".
The barbaric and cruel imposed war on the Yemeni people has been raging on for 7 long years.
A Saudi-led coalition, supported by and with a green light from western powers, has embarked upon the total destruction of the already impoverished nation of Yemen.
But who all was dumb enough to join the Saudi-led, western sponsored coalition?
And who are the western sponsors who are selling billions of dollars in weapons to the Saudi-led, western sponsored coalition?
And what is the current humanitarian condition of Yemen that has come about due to the Saudi-led, western sponsored coalition?
And please answer for us, why in the world are the brave and courageous people of Yemen \\\"Barefooted, But Deadly\\\"?
Hey, we\\\'re just \\\"Keepin\\\' It Real\\\".

One of the most sacred and biggest undertakings and the one with the most serious effect on the lives of nations and individuals, is the formation of what is called \" The family establishment\", the outcome of which -and over the extended centuries-is the thriving of thousands of human generations which might be the product of a single marriage, like the billions of people who had lived on the face of earth as a blessing of the first marriage between our parents Adam and Eve. And how often the decaying of the relationship between a specific couple-and the consequent deficient upbringing-had resulted in the corruption of a whole human generation which necessitated some of the historical disasters, and how often history has recorded some of these disasters! Hence, it is not heretical that we propagandize the necessity of establishing of specialized -read or heard-courses to learn the riddles of this sacred, and in the same time complex, relationship. And it is known that the secrets of the marriage of two dissimilar souls are not realized except by scrupulous observation, which the couple might not be aware of until after it is too late and after things are out of control, by the decaying of the relationship between the couple on one side and between them and the children on the other. Hence, it is necessary to transfer the wrong and the right experiences in addition to what is learned from the Tradition to fortify the bonds of that noble life...And to the owners of that \"Happy establishment\", we present these points. - http://www.alseraj.net/6/

The world has greatly progressed in terms of science and technology. The world is practically in our finger tips.
Yet, despite all this scientific and technological advancement, humanity hasn\'t been able to help the oppressed all across the world nor has it been able to feed the millions of people going hungry.
There are billions of people across the world who are suffering, while a very small few usurp the wealth of the world.
Humanity hasn\'t even been able to implement many basic universal principles such as justice.

Iraqi Journalist Throws Shoes At George Bush AT the press conference on 14th dec 2008. The journalist says in Arabic - It is the farewell kiss you dog
A journalist has thrown a pair of shoes at George W. Bush, as the President arrived in Baghdad on an unannounced farewell visit to Iraq.
The Iraqi journalist threw the shoes, when the US president was shaking hands with the Iraqi prime minister Nuri al-Maliki in his office in Baghdad on Sunday, AFP reported.
The Iraqi who was sitting in the third row 'jumped up' shouting "It is the farewell kiss, you dog," the report says.
He then threw his shoes one after the other towards Bush. The president was reportedly not hurt, as the shoes did not hit him. Iraqi security staff 'frogmarched' the journalist out.
Bush arrived in Baghdad on Sunday on what has been called a farewell trip to a country which has cost the US thousands of military servicemen and billions of dollars.
Five years of invasion has killed tens of thousands of Iraqis, while according to Human Rights Watch during the deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein's reign, 250,000 to 290,000 people were killed over 20 years.

The United States arms sales to the Middle Eastern countries will eventually boomerang on the US, a political analyst tells Press TV.
His comment comes as the US has recently finalized a 30-billion-dollar deal with Saudi Arabia as part of a 60-billion-dollar contract, first unveiled in October 2010.
The US has also signed a deal to sell about USD 3.5 billion worth of arms to the United Arab Emirates.
“The sales of such high technology to unstable regimes in the Middle East region such as Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates, is something that is going to backfire on the United States,” said Nader Mokhtari political commentator and journalist.
“You have to take into account that these countries are not run via political operatives like other countries,” the Tehran-based analyst said, adding that they are run 'like family-run businesses.'
The US has demonstrated support for popular uprisings in the Middle East while at the same time propping up their authoritarian regimes by selling them billions of dollars worth of various types of weaponry.
In its Yearbook 2010, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) stated that the US accounts for 43 percent of world military spending and 30 percent of global arms exports, making it the world's leader in both categories.
US arms sales to the Persian Gulf countries has reached USD 123 billion, with a USD 67.8 billion package for Saudi Arabia, USD 35.6 billion for the United Arab Emirates, USD 12.3 billion for Oman and USD 7.1 billion for Kuwait.

Seven Special Scenarios To Find Sincerity | Shaykh Farukh Sekaleshfar
Shaykh Farukh Sekaleshfar eloquently expands on seven scenarios to do with mustahhab fasting, contemplating over which will open the doors to all acts of worship. This will change your life, the way you see your own actions and the way you view the people around us. There are billions of people on earth and around 1 out of 5 of them are Muslims... Everyone acts according to what he/she deems best, and some will justify thinking in a certain way. But only a very, very few actually find sincerity. How do we perfect our actions, whether Salah, Zakah or fasting? How do we know whether what we are doing is truly for the sake of Allah? How do we know that there is no Shirk hiding deep within the bosom of the worshipper when he worships?
